Horrible customer service and lack of accountability

Horrible customer service, horrible product description, and lack of accountability for their mistakes. I ordered a set of rings from their website for my engagement, I measured both my husband’s ring finger and mine using various tools as well as what they provided on their website. The rings came back extremely big therefore their ring sizes needed to be sized down however that information was not described or stated anywhere in the product description. I spoke to a customer representative asking how resizing works and they stated I would be able to resize for free and if I needed to resize again I would be able to do so giving me the impression a second resize would be free. Unfortunately when I resized they were still far too big, when I requested a second resize they stated I would have to pay a certain percentage of the price to resize again. When I mentioned the impression I had they did not give me any solution and said the same thing over again, “resizing will cost a fee sorry for the impression you had” no accountability for the lack of information from their previous representative. They also offered their store credit as a refund, which is disappointing, why would I want to repurchase something from a company that has horrible quality.

That should be a joyful moment, and I completely understand how frustrating it must feel when things don’t go as smoothly as expected.

I would like to clarify how the resizing process works so everything is transparent. For rings, we do offer the first resizing completely free of charge. If the ring needs to be adjusted again after the first resize and the item was produced correctly according to the requested size, a restocking fee is applied. This is because a new ring must be produced again from scratch, which involves additional materials and craftsmanship.

That said, I truly understand your concern regarding the impression you received earlier, and I’m very sorry if the explanation at that time was not as clear as it should have been.

I’ve actually reached out to you directly via email as well so we can continue looking into this matter together and find the best possible way forward for you. I’d really appreciate the opportunity to assist you personally and help resolve this situation as smoothly as possible.

It was a complicated engraving order…

It was a complicated engraving order and it was done quickly and correctly! Shipped out internationally and got to the recipient in fantastic time without incident.

Bad products with even worse customer service

Initially sent me the wrong length of chain. I contacted them and they said they’ll send the correct size. After about a week I get another email from them saying their website was wrong and they don’t even have that length of chain. They give me another option and we move forward with that. I wait about a month for the replacement to arrive to only be the exact same as the initial incorrect chain. I contact the again and their solution is to just pick something else from their website. If you value your time and money stay away from them.

Update:
Since I can’t reply to the response I’ll add this here. Your solution was a repeat of the previous process. Best case scenario it’ll be about three months before I get what I actually ordered, and worth case scenario I’ll get the wrong item for the third time. I have no intention of wasting any more time. I just wanted to warn others.

Arrived before estimated date and looks great!

Arrived before the estimated date and came in great condition! The silver on the bracelet is very shiny and pretty, and it looks even better than the picture. I was almost a little hesitant to order from here since I had never heard of Sett before, so I’m glad everything came in a timely manner and in tact. Would recommend 👍🏼

I ordered from them almost 2 months ago if not longer and they keep telling me my product is delayed in customs. I’ve been more then patient in this whole process and all I have received from sett is a $20 gift certificate for there website that expires, which is fine but do you really think I want to order something else when I haven’t even received the product I paid for. They have been no help and just keep telling me to wait. I don’t enjoy writing a bad review but at this point not sure what else I can do seems like I just threw away $200 thanks SETT.

I bought two pieces of jewelry for my partner. A gold chain and a silver chain for our anniversary. They tarnished and got rust spots all over each of them! I was so embarrassed when the gift got opened. Initially I was excited and the items came pretty quickly. They looked really nice but for the price I couldn't believe they tarnished before being opened and worn. I could not get my money back as I got the jewelry ahead of time to ensure it would make it in time for our anniversary. Instead I got store credit... Praying the next items do not give me issues as the jewelry isn't cheap. Pandora would have given me better quality at the prices here.

No delivery yet

Ordered my necklace over a month ago. When trying to get a hold of customer service I get the run around about delivery time frames and reasons why. One of the only good things I can say is the customer service department is responsive which still gives me hope I will get my order still. As to the question of when, hopefully I will find out.

Do not buy from this company!

Do not buy from this company! While they advertise that their gold necklaces are made of solid gold, they are actually hollow in nature. My necklace broke while taking off my shirt and I’d relate the material to being as rigid as a paper clip. Your necklace will continuously break!!!

Do NOT order from SETT and Co

Do NOT order from this company! I ordered nearly a month ago and my order hasn’t shipped. Every time I contacted them about my order, they skated around the issue and sent false assurances about how it “would be delivered soon” and claimed that they’re “super particular about quality” so a “hiccup” delayed my order.

The tracking number they provided (which I had to request when I didn’t receive an initial order confirmation), shows that my order STILL has not been received by their shipping partners. Unless you’re willing to wait for months to potentially never receive what you paid for, do not order from them.

Dont do it.

This has been the most frustrating experience of my life. I was meant to receive this item well in advanced to the day i needed it. Nope. I cant even get an estimate on where it is because the website didnt change the delivery date, I just got an email about it. I contact customer service and they said it has already shipped so no refund. Yet they cant give me the shipping number? No phone number to call and an email that dances around all my questions and concerns. I would comment on the quality but guess what? STILL NO PRODUCT. If you do want something from this company do not go buy the estimated date given.
UPDATE: As of July 7th I still have no package. I have had 2 "wrong" tracking numbers given, and have been refused a refund until it arrives. Will it arrive? The world may never know.
