It was a wonderful approach to visual communication in science. I feel more equipped than before to tackle mu schemes.

Amazing experience, a lot of examples. Definitely helped me through my presentation slides

The presentations were very engaging and interesting. The pace at which the course progressed was satisfactory.

It is really professional for letting your audience to understand you effortlessly by using the strategies in the course. Impressive is the color connection, which I had never taken into account. There are a branch of meaningful information. Thank you very much.

The information available in the video lecutres was extremely useful and diverse. I learned so many important things in this course.
Another great feature was the good and bad samples presented - it allowed to compare both and learn what works and what doesn't.
Live session was also very useful and time ran by very quickly.

The course was surprisingly useful! Often these courses can be very "theoretical" and hence not so useful. But I was surprised by how rigorous, clear and down-to-earth this course was. You are explained the theory behind the method and you learn through real-life applications, e.g. by discussing published material in science. Every lesson is bite-sized so it is all very easily digestible. Most of all, I appreciated picking up a language to critically talk about science visualization/communication, as well as a number of tips and tricks (and tools) which I will certainly use in the future.
Would recommend highly!

This experience was very formative and helpful. The registered course greatly enriched my knowledge of visual communication, which is fundamental to our job as scientists. Thank you for all the suggestions! I can't wait to have new materials to improve myself every time more

Absolutely amazing workshop! All self-learning materials were super amazing and helpful. Very well curated and professional. And the live session with feedback for our own work was also very helpful. All the feedback was eye-opening!

The content has a high value, and also the review of or own material is very useful

The training was engaging and dynamic. Tailored to our needs and structured in a way to keep our attention high! Definitely recommended.

Very well designed and engaging online course and live workshop, including very helpful and detailed feedback.

Thank you for this great opportunity to participate! The information is well structured, the lecturer - well prepared and I take some insights!

Very good training. Constructive feedback on existing figures and slides given. Nicely structured, with different sessions which made the whole training very fun.
Would totally recommend to any scientist

Jernej was passionate and engaging. He provided clear implementable advice in an interactive manner on how to improve visual communications.

We learned structures and methods to highlight key messages more effectively, and implemented these immediately through a peer-review of slides and images we had submitted as homework prior to the course.

Attending the training on visual communication in science was a fantastic experience primarily because it equipped me with essential skills to effectively convey complex scientific information visually. The hands-on learning and practical exercises allowed me to immediately apply what I learned, which significantly enhanced my ability to create clear and compelling visuals. Overall, this training not only improved my professional capabilities but also inspired me to explore new ways of enhancing communication in science through visuals.

Jernej reintroduced some basic or intuitive principles of visual communication and sparked new ideas I'll incorporate in future figures & presentations.

The workshop was well-structured and easy to follow.

Thank you Jernej for this great seminar! I think this should be in the basic repertoire of each scientist! Fast and easy representation of the most important key points for visual communication with great examples. 10/10 can only recommend.

It was a very informative and helpful course.

The workshop is very helpful, not only for making slides, but also for making scientific figures. It provides many methods on how to arrange information more attractive. I would highly recommend this workshop.

really enjoy both the online and zoom workshop. it was very interesting
