We recently had SFIR Home Improvements to remove the closed cell spray foam from the loft of our property. The team turned up on time, they started by laying dust sheets throughout our property and covered all of our carpets and floors. They worked really hard and Dave and his team were excellent, they even stayed late on a few days so they could get it done. I would seriously recommend SFIR Home Improvements if you have spray foam to remove. Very good company from Chris who visited and Bev, Paul and Natalie who helped us through the process.

I had spray foam insulation removed by a company who did not deliver the services they said they would offer. I was advised I would receive a certificate confirming foam removed to a professional standard and a certificate would be provided confirming this was in accordance with regulations. I also had foil insulation installed.
The work was undertaken and the rafters covered with foil insulation. On ringing them on completion (having also paid them) I asked for my certificate to which the response was “there is no official body who provides such a certificate”.
I was put in contact with Chris from SFIR who came round and was horrified by the works undertaken. He provided me with a report and his costings to put right/remove the spray foam not removed”. Chris confirmed on completion he would provide the certificate.
I proceeded with the work from SFIR. The work was completed and I am more than pleased with this company. I also instructed them to install Rockwool insulation as I was going to be left with hardly any insulation as the foil had to be removed as well. Having the Rockwool installed was my decision whilst the work were being completed. Not once has Chris been pushy with me proceeding with any of his services. I have also received my certificate which can be provided to mortgage lenders/equity release companies if required. Chris also provided me with a final report. Both reports were very detailed and contained photo’s of both before and after works.
Chris and his team Paul and Bev who I had dealings with also have really gone above and beyond in helping me.
I recommend this company 100%.

Great company, hard workers. All very pleasant and friendly. Kept us informed and did a great job. Paul was particularly helpful and patient. Would reccommend their services.
