Slechte app, al een aantal jaren klant maar dit is zeker het laatste jaar. Films/series met Nederlandse ondertiteling zijn NIET beschikbaar. Bij series heeft de 1e aflevering ondertiteling in 22 talen en bij aflevering 2 houdt het allemaal op. Verspil je geld niet aan deze app. De klantenservice reageert ook nergens op. Ik ben vanaf nu geen klant meer.
Poor Casting Function and Unhelpful Customer Support
Casting from the Shahid VIP app to TV via Chromecast is very unreliable and often fails with several movies and series. Customer support was extremely disappointing. During my chat on 13 December 2025, I received generic, copy-paste responses regardless of the issue and was repeatedly asked for screenshots, device details, and internet speed checks, with no real solution provided. There was no genuine effort to resolve the problem. Overall, poor technical performance and ineffective support.

I canceled my subscription two weeks in advance, but they still cut off my access ten days early. It feels like they’re forcing me to resubscribe, which is incredibly frustrating. I definitely wouldn’t recommend their service to anyone.

0 for there service. I paid for my subscription but I can't watch. Three weeks has gone and I still can'nt watch. And the tenical team is not helping me.

Se sont des araquent, je voulais me désabonner mais c’était impossible de le faire pour s’abonner c’est facile mais se désabonner oubliez le, ils m’ont prélever 88€ et quelques centimes, après 3 jours ils m’ont prélevr 91,71€

On their website it says to cancel you have to provide the last 4 digit of your card. It was ok until the customer service guy started pushing wnd being agressive to send the first 6 and last 4…. Might as well ask for all of them while we are at it. So insecure, makes me wonder what they do with all of that information. There should be a button to delete your account or card info like any normal service provider website/app. In addition, i spoke with another customer service guy and he only asked for last 4 digits. Scammers operate this business
Many issues with this platform - bugs - scams - no refund.
I subscribed for Ramadan recently, but my login stopped working after just 3 days.
When I contacted support, they were unhelpful.
Neither OTP nor other authentication methods worked for me.
I requested a refund, and they told me to check the progress on Google Pay, which makes no sense since Shahid should be the one processing the refund.
After months of ineffective back-and-forth communication, they eventually told me they couldn't refund me.
It's just $10, but I want to share this with anyone reading this message.
Would you be willing to let scammers take your legitimate money ?
worst user experience with a streaming app
Suddenly the app stopped supporting my TV type, the app was working fine, suddenly it is not, when i called the customer service they told me my smart TV is old and they stopped supporting it!!!! the same T.V that has Netflix, Amazon prime, OSN, starz apps working fine and i need to upgrade the TV for Shahid?!!! i kept the subscription just to suddenly find out they have increased the subscription fee by 100%!!! i have been a Shahid customer for many years and i had some technical issues along the way more that the other streaming apps, but what has been happening lately, it is a very bad experience, i made an official complaint and i was told someone will call me back but of course no one called, they seem not to care at all about their customers

I paid 1 month subscription when i was outside the UAE and the whole time the app wasnt working. I didnt use the app at all so i went and cancelled the subscription but it kept charging me. I tried contacting them but no one answered me from the agents and when i got back to them after they successfully took my money again I contacted them to tell them i dont want the subscription and i didnt want it in the first place they refused to refund me and their excuse was that i havent went through the cancelling process completely and they refused to refund me and now im forced to have a subscription untill the end of next month which i dont want

The worst customer services. I think the whole company/group operates in a very dangerous way if I’m being honest. These people have no idea what Data protection means, what rights a customer has and they’re allowed to operate in the UK.
I cancelled my subscription but I generally delete emails so when I saw that I keep getting charged I contacted Shahid. I asked for a copy of the communication sent to me and surprise, they first said that they can’t send me then they said that they don’t have a process for this. For what? For proper customer service? I told them I know that they don’t want to share it because they knew I cancelled but they kept charging me. Very cheeky of them.
I cancelled again and requested for all my data to be deleted from their systems. Let’s see what happens. I am taking this further, because they need to learn what customer rights are and Data protection.
Very bad support and no rights for content
People from support team are arrogant and not listening at customers. If you’re not happy feel free to cancel as they say. Easy to say when you subscribed one year contract. Also it is one second to subscribe service but a nightmare to cancel. You must contact their support on WHATSAPP to act a cancellation. On the other hand, many content was available during Ramadan and disappeared just after. Customer support advised diffusion rights were only available during Ramadan (funny no?). My experience is not too good but Shahid have monopoly and no other official streaming platforms are available for Arabic content :-(

Their terms and conditions are ridiculous.
Be carful, cause you might be charged even if you cancel your subscription. The following is written in their terms and conditions:
"unless you properly cancel your Access Plan prior to the applicable Renewal Date (as per the cancellation process described in these Terms of Use). You further authorise us to charge your Payment Method the Subscription Fees on or around each Renewal Date"
It's even written "on or around" renewal date, so you never know when you're gonna be charged Haha!
and that's what happened with me, they charged me before the end of the subscription and said we can do it because it's written in our terms and conditions.
Just avoid them.

Muy mala experiencia he tenido con la suscripción de shahid vip,no puedo anular la suscripción, me tienen mi tarjeta de crédito y no la quieren borrar,no hay forma de quitar mis datos con ellos,os aconsejo no dar información de tarjeta de crédito,en mi caso he tenido que avisar mi banco para que me bloqueen mi tarjeta, muy mal servicio de shahid,fácil de entrar pero sin salida.es considerado como una estafa. ATENCIÓN ver reseñas negativas son ciertas.jamas volveré a suscribirme en shahid ni regalado.
