Shaun Mckeown- Jikiden Reiki teacher Opiniões

Shaun was such a fabulous teacher! I thoroughly enjoyed the course with lots of practical hands on training in a relaxed environment and with a lovely group of people too! Shaun was very knowledgeable, he has a wealth of experience and explained the practice in a way that was easy to absorb.

Shaun has been great. I did my original Reiki training with him in 2025. He has been a great support through my verified practitioner program and helping me to work towards achieving my Teacher training status.

Having completed a course with Shaun end of January /February 2026 I feel I have learnt the original skill used in Reiki that will benifit myself ,family and friends ,for the rest of my life . He is a máster teacher ,highly skilled, respected and recognised in his field for the delivery of the purest simplest technique used in Reiki . Would highly recommended him.

This Reiki training was truly transformative. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. Shaun’s wisdom and gentle guidance made the teachings clear and empowering.

Shaun shared with patience and clarity using the perfect balance of theory, practical, and partner work.
The environment is calm, nurturing, and deeply supportive.
I left with Reiki skills, renewed peace, and confidence to share healing.

Final Thoughts: More than a class. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking deeper connection and balance.

Shaun is a fantastic teacher, he explains clearly, knows Jikiden Reiki inside out and answers questions in depth. Thank you Shaun for a really enjoyable course, I'd highly recommend to anyone!

A truly personalised style of teaching , in a small group. Very informative, created a good understanding of where the origins of the reiki came from and what sets Jikiden Reiki apart from western forms.

Shaun is an excellent and generous teacher. Very relaxed environment. A lot of information delivered in a short time without feeling as though you had been overloaded. I will be staying in touch with Shaun for my ongoing journey with Jikiden Reiki.

Had a fantastic training experience

I honestly recommend the Reiki course with Shaun.
It includes lots of valuable information, history, symbols, and practical exercises which really help you connect with Reiki energy.
Shaun also recommends books that can deepen your understanding and support your personal practice.

After completing the course, you receive two certificates and officially become a Reiki practitioner.
If at any point you feel the need for individual guidance, you can book a 1-to-1 session with the teacher.

Incredibly in-depth course over 2 weekends. Learnt so much and met some amazing people. Shaun’s delivery was clear and extremely informative. He paced everything well and gave plenty of time for questions.
Thank you Shaun

I’ve been very fortunate to have Shaun as my teacher. I chose the best Reiki course in UK. You will know why.

The course was very well prepared and delivered. We had a good amount participation and sharing of ideas. It gave me a good idea of what i need to do next.

Shaun is an excellent Reiki Teacher and Practitioner. I have undertaken many Reiki trainings with Shaun, as well as received many treatments. Shaun is so professional in his approach and manner. I really relate to his way of teaching, a wonderful balance and theory. I greatly value Shaun’s support, feedback and guidance. If you are looking for an experienced Reiki Teacher/ practitioner, I highly recommend Shaun.

Shaun is an excellent teacher. Relaxed, accommodating, and extremely knowledgable. His passion for Reiki is evident and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I learnt a lot from this course and it was delivered clearly and effectively in a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to others. I now feel I have the tools I need to help myself and others.

I am already a teacher of Western Usui Reiki. Sean was recommended to me for Eastern Reiki. The set up was at Sean's home. The lounge being the learning area, the back room being for practice and Reiju. Tea and coffee was available throughout the days!
The course was over 3 days and this was the perfect length, although I was a little tired by the end of day 3!
The content was very thorough and the handout complemented the teaching very well.
I found Sean's knowledge and delivery very good. Interaction with all students was good and questions were answered fully. There was sufficient time to practice, receive Reijus and also have discussions around esoteric topics as they arose.
I recommend Sean as a teacher and Jikiden Reiki as a healing modality. I will be working with Sean in the future as I progress my own Jikiden journey.

Jikiden Reiki has truly transformed my life. The authentic, traditional approach to Reiki that Jikiden offers is unparalleled. It’s more than just a healing practice—it’s a journey of self-discovery and inner peace. The effects are profound and lasting, touching every aspect of my life. If you're seeking a deep, meaningful healing experience, Jikiden Reiki is absolutely the way to go. EVERYTHING changed for me, and I’m forever grateful.

I couldn’t recommend Shaun more highly, he is very knowledgeable and skilled in Reiki, and I have had great personal benefits from having regular sessions with him.

When I first started I was so stressed and truly felt I wouldn’t cope if anything else were to come my way. I feel much calmer now and feel I have a greater perspective when facing situations. I have recently found I need surgery which I have accepted and and looking forward to the benefits of, yet I know if I had been told this news before meeting Shaun, I would have crumbled.

I’ve recently had a privilege to attend a Jikiden Reiki course with Shaun. The whole experience was great from start to finish, gaining valuable knowledge and techniques about Traditional Japanese Reiki. And it was magical. I met great people during the course and we stayed in touch and interacting with each other sharing our reiki practice experiences. I look forward to having more meetings with Shaun in a future and carrying on in that direction. Also he is an amazing person, very welcoming, easy going, always helpful and it felt like home. Anyone who wishes to attend Jikiden Reiki course with Shaun, I wouldn’t hesitate.
Thank you so much!
