Useless service i have ever had
I had one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences with ShiftKart. Right from the beginning, the team’s approach was completely unprofessional.
At the time of booking itself, their staff demanded a bribe, which I unfortunately had to pay via GPay separately. During packing, I repeatedly insisted that they drain out the water from my appliances, especially the washing machine, but they were least bothered and ignored my instructions.
They had assured delivery in Bangalore by 10 AM, but my belongings arrived only by 3 PM — with my refrigerator fully dented, and water entering my AC indoor unit, resulting in a spoiled PCB board and fan motor. Due to this delay and damage, all my installation schedules for that day went to waste.
Here’s the total loss I had to bear because of their negligence:
₹15,000 overall expense
₹1,000 bribe paid to their staff
₹4,000 paid to installation personnel who couldn’t proceed due to delay
₹6,500 for AC PCB and fan motor repair
₹800 in tips (Chennai ₹400 + Bangalore ₹400)
And worst of all, one washing machine got completely damaged and had to be scrapped — I had to order a new one.
Despite repeated follow-ups and escalation, I was treated rudely and without any concern. No one from their side took ownership or offered a resolution.
I have photo and video proof for every bit of damage and incident mentioned above.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly suggest you stay away from ShiftKart. Opt for more reliable and accountable options like NoBroker or Porter, who at least care to respond and take responsibility for issues.
