Horrible customer service and horrible delivery company they’re tied to.

We ordered the art deco fan mirror in the extra large size. Our mirror arrived broken. On delivery the box was damaged on one side. On opening the box was the wrong way round with the ‘this way up arrow’ going across the mirror, side to side not top to bottom. The damage to the box was in line with the side corner of the mirror and that side segment of the mirror was cracked. The ‘protective’ foam inside the box was also very thin and in multiple pieces which had allowed the mirror to move around inside the box during transport. I contacted Shine by email with photos and explained about the box being sideways and the mirror having been able to move around in transport. They advised they would provide a replacement but nothing was mentioned in regards packaging so I tried to contact them to discuss my concerns. Their phone number went to a messaging service (to date I have not received a call back) so I sent an email requesting that they look at how the mirror was packaged to try and minimise the chances of damage to the replacement. I received an email response from ‘Jackie’ saying
“We apologise if the packaging of the initial mirror was not sufficient. Rest assured, we will raise this concern with the team and ensure that the mirrors will be adequately packaged and labeled.”
The second mirror arrived - there was a fragile label affixed. This label was in opposition to the ‘this way up’ arrow. If the arrow pointed up the label was upside down and if you could read the label the arrow was upside down - good start. There was damage to the side of the box -sound familiar. On opening the box was again around the wrong way, directional arrow going across the mirror, not top to bottom, the mirror had moved around in the box due to the thin foam in multiple pieces, the edge of the mirror aligned with the damage to the box and surprise, surprise the mirror was cracked again - same segment. The full extent then of Shine’s effort to address the packaging issue was to do exactly what they did the first time and then affix an upside down fragile label. I decided not to go for third time lucky (and requested and received a refund). Shine’s complete lack of care in addressing the problem raised is my issue - they clearly just couldn’t have given a rats.
Good thing though - found the mirror elsewhere - better price and they double box their mirrors for delivery - shop around

I purchased two expensive mirrors for a bathroom through Shine Mirrors. I made an error and ordered the wrong colour frame. Shine Mirrors would not accept an exchange or refund AT ALL even though the mirrors were in the original packaging and totally as new. Really disappointing as I now have two mirrors that I do not need or want.
