Review after ShipSkis Response

Once FedEx received skis all worked well. BUT, we moved our return date from Steamboat up by two days (from 3/28 to 3/26) and called Shipskis to tell them that. However, by 3/28 FedEx had not picked up the skis. Someone from the resort had to bring our shipment to the FedEx office in Steamboat Springs. I did not receive my skis in Wethersfield until Saturday, 4/4.

I appreciate SkiSkis prompt response to my review and explanation for the delay of the return shipment. I also appreciate that ShipSkis did everything possible to ensure the prompt return trip for my skis. I will definitely use SkiSkis again for skis or golf equipment and would like to now rate my experience with 5 Stars.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent Ship Skis experience. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding your round-trip shipment.

We’re pleased to see that your outbound shipment was delivered on time to your resort in Steamboat Springs, CO. However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with your return collection.

Our records show that our team remained in active communication with you throughout this process, and we regret any concern or inconvenience caused by the missed pickup. After the initial collection was missed on March 26th, a second attempt was scheduled for March 27th. Unfortunately, that attempt was also unsuccessful. To ensure your shipment was collected, we arranged for an independent third-party courier, at our expense, to complete the pickup on March 28th. While this solution ensured your skis were on their way home, we do acknowledge that it resulted in your shipment arriving one day later than originally scheduled.

We hope that our proactive efforts and continued attention to resolving the issue demonstrated our commitment to supporting you when unexpected challenges arise. While missed pickups and delays are not typical, we take great pride in addressing them as quickly and effectively as possible when they do occur.

Ship skis delivers exactly as promised

Ship skis delivers exactly as promised. You sign up, tell them what you are going ship, they give you price, you pay, and then send you very convenient Fed Ex tags to ship your things. You can either have Fed Ex pick up at your house, or drop at a Fed Ex location. A couple of years ago, you had to print out FEd Ex labels and then put them in a large plastic luggage tag to put on your ski bag etc. The new tags are VERY helpful and come with a zip tie making shipping a breeze. Just make sure to bring the return bag tags with you on your trip!

Excellent and reliable shipping

The process to set up the shipments, arrange for pick up, and then receive the packages could not have been easier. It’s a very well designed process, well priced, and very reliable.

Reliable and quick delivery…

My ski and snowboard equipment arrived intact and a day or two early on both ends of shipping. Seamless drop off at fedex and cheaper than going directly through fedex. Will never bring my ski equipment or golf gear without using shop skis and ship sticks.
