Shopogolic has been extremely disappointing to deal with.

My parcel was returned due to a customs declaration issue. Despite this, the company accepted and shipped the parcel without flagging any problem beforehand. After the issue occurred, I received conflicting explanations from multiple support agents, which raised serious concerns about their internal processes.

They repeatedly relied on their Terms & Conditions to deny responsibility, yet failed to provide basic evidence such as the customs declaration or CN22/CN23 form to support their claims.

This has now been ongoing for over a month with no resolution, no accountability, and poor transparency. Instead of addressing the issue fairly, they are insisting I pay again to fix a problem that should have been identified before shipment.

I would not recommend using this service.

Zero customer service

I had wanted a handbag from Italy for some time, it was massively reduced but they wouldn't ship to the UK so I signed up to obtain the Italian address. This was a very easy process. Ordered the bag, created a 'new inbound' on the shopogolic website so they knew to expect the item. At this point I was asked to select a delivery method but there were no prices, all fields had a £0 against them (presumably because they hadn't weighed/measured the item yet), I had no idea what delivery company in Italy to use.

Delivery was attempted once but they couldn't gain access to the building but the next day all fine and item was delivered and I was notified. I was thinking so far so good.

Then I received a 90 euro invoice from them! I was shocked. The handbag cost me 70 euros with free postage. When I looked at the invoice the majority of the cost was delivery to the UK which I thought was ridiculous because the bag was just a standard shoulder bag weighing less than 2kg and I was in no hurry to receive it.

I understand if you are using this process there's a risk and if that's the cost then fine but I wanted to check with Shopogolic and this is where I give such a low rating. I tried for over a week to contact them and I have heard absolutely nothing in response. I sent emails, filled in the online contact form and used the chat facility - I was ignored. The phone number just rings, no answer and no automated message. I cannot fault the Italian end but this side is appalling.
I did receive an email to say that my 10 day free storage was coming to an end and i'd be charged so I have had no choice but to pay the invoice.

I would seriously avoid this company at all costs - if you run into a real issue it will NEVER be resolved and you will NEVER get hold of anyone. You will absolutely be out of pocket and very stressed.
There is no excuse for it, I saw posts that they had moved so there might be a delay but that was over a year ago. The chat facility says online but that's a lie. Also I note they are pretty quick at commenting on negative reviews so why aren't they that quick at responding to queries?!
Take my word for it use someone else or just don't bother at all, I didn't need a bag that bad!

Hi! Your request for parcel cancellation was done the next day after your request and all the orders were returned to your account. We do no divide any parcels without instructions. Now you can add Separation service to each order and provide the instructions.

Terrible service

Terrible service, no technical support.
I paid $62 for shipping, but the payment did not show up in their system, and for eight days now, no one from support has responded or resolved the issue. This is probably a fraudulent company; I do not recommend using them.

This company is a total scam. They take your money, keep your package, and then demand more by charging you for storage—even after you’ve already paid them to forward it!

In my case, I paid for them to receive a package from Poland and ship it to me in the United States. They never forwarded it. Instead, they stalled, lied, and then tried to charge me additional fees while holding my package hostage.

Their “customer service” is a disgrace—painfully slow to respond, and when they do, it’s just lies, excuses, and zero accountability.

Do NOT trust this company. They are thieves who will take your money, keep your package, and leave you with nothing. Stay far away!

The reply below is more lies. I have proof from the shipper that they never received the package from shopogolic. They say that they have given me a refund when they have not. I was forced to request a refund from my credit card company. The money I paid for the item is a total loss because there is no way that I am giving shopogolic any more of my money.

Buyer Beware – Zero Communication, Feels Like Fraud

Thank you for finally responding here. If you truly reviewed my previous messages, you would see that my main question is about shipping to CANADA. I have already provided the Canadian address. I understand the situation with U.S. shipping — that is NOT the issue.

Also, if the matter with your staff handling responses has been “addressed” as you claim, why have I still received no replies to my messages?

Please respond directly to my request regarding shipping this parcel to CANADA without further delay.

Shopogolic’s customer service is appalling, and the red flags just keep piling up. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Red Flag 1: My parcel (ID: 309697, Tracking: CP919217410PL) was marked as shipped on 8/25, yet weeks later I was told it had been returned — with no notification at all until I inquired after tracking showed no updates.

Red Flag 2: Communication is practically nonexistent. Emails sent on 9/8 and 9/15 were ignored. The only option is their online chat, where I’ve sent daily messages for the past two weeks. Responses are painfully slow, generic, and unhelpful.

Red Flag 3: When they do respond, they use delay tactics — repeatedly asking for the same details while ignoring most of my questions. For the past 3 days, I’ve had no response at all. Weeks later, the parcel’s location is still unknown, yet their website continues to mark it as “shipped.”

This level of negligence and evasiveness raises serious concerns about whether Shopogolic is operating legitimately. I will be pursuing this matter through every available avenue until I receive a proper update and resolution. This is an ongoing issue and I will return with updates. Your parcel was returned due to recent changes in import regulations in the USA. Several couriers have stopped accepting certain shipments to the USA under the new rules. Unfortunately, this decision was made by the couriers and is outside of our control.

Currently, your parcel is safely stored at our warehouse. As soon as there is a possibility to ship it again under updated regulations, we will do so immediately. Alternatively, if you have your own courier who is able to handle the shipment, we will gladly cooperate and release the parcel to them.

We also reviewed your communication history. We acknowledge that our responses did not meet the standard we strive for. The staff member who handled your case has been addressed, and we are taking steps to improve our response time and clarity.

Bad Support Chance my packages are being stolen.

Currently I found out about shopogolic I said let's give it a try but here we go.
- slow customer support care
They answered me fast only at the begin when I've asked some details but now when I meet the issues not any signs.

I have 2 parcels that have to be sent to me. currently the status of them are Label created for over a week.

I just seen other reviews about the packages getting stolen and now I am very aware I did fall into a scam.

I will update how the situation goes.

After checking, both of your shipments were paid and processed correctly: one was dispatched the same day the payment was received, and the second one the following day. Sometimes tracking updates may take a little longer to appear, but your parcels are on the way.

I have worked with other parcel…

I have worked with other parcel forwarders. My first experience with Shopogolic is by far the worst. Shipping rates, chat system and status display are quite good but handling in warehouse and support is very bad. I wanted to forward a parcel from Poland to Germany. After payment was confirmed it took 3 weeks and 10 complaints by email and chat before it was forwarded. After 6 days I contacted support first time. Status changed to "shipped" but tracking showed that it was not handed to courier. I assumed that it was lost or stolen - but it must simply have been lying around in warehouse in Poland. Support replied just once a day and the replies were mostly just delaying. They normally ignore the chat history of a complaint, you have to tell the whole story over and over again.
But the story has a happy ending, the parcel was finally shipped and arrived well. Shopogolic parcel no. is 296836, maybe it helps.

I use Shopogolic quite often, mostly for parcels from the US and Poland, and I’ve never had any problems with them. There was a small delay (2 days) once, but 99% they’re always on top of everything.

AVOID THEM. NO SERIOUS SUPPORT. VERY SLOW

Very slow shipping forwarding and expensive for the poor service offered.
It can take 2-3 weeks, when you are lucky, to receive a parcel in France from Poland... by FedEx. A joke.
In fact, as they never mention, all parcels from Poland are shipped from Germany warehouse, so they organize transfer. Of course, it is not daily organised but rather weekly... or longer. So don't expect fast shipping. After two weeks waiting, still not yet handled to FedEx, so open a support ticket. Very poor reply. After three days, open again a ticket. Exactly the same issue. SO ALWAYS USE PAYPAL FOR BUYING SERVICE FEE. And the BEST, avoid them, find a better service.

Sometimes, when they receive the parcels, they take pictures, sometimes not. Very random... But always very fast to packup and collect money.

Smooth process to buy items

Smooth process to buy items. Shopogolic is very reliable. For "one of a kind" items, the reaction time to purchase the item could be a bit faster, because otherwise it might be purchased by someone else.

I never had this worst service with any…

I never had this worst service with any supplier in Europe , they are one of the worst customer service which i see in my life where they dont have any idea or any status of what is happening and also they ask you to create the Order for intimating them for receiving material and then they themself create their own order and it will be fully consufed becuaseyou dont get any document clarity

I was a happy customer

I was a happy customer of Shopogolic.net for a couple of years, but unfortunately, I can no longer recommend their service. My parcel was lost, and despite multiple attempts to get support, I never received a clear answer on the next steps or how to claim the insurance I had paid for. Communication has been very slow and unhelpful. While the team seems genuinely kind, the service quality appears to have declined. Reading other Trustpilot reviews only reinforced my concerns. (Parcel 276888)

If this issue gets resolved, I will update my review accordingly.

Update: the shipping was found and re-sent eventually. I have successfully received the package.
