FEES FOR SHPOCK! NO THANKS.

I have been using Shpock for years as Ebays fees were ridiculous. The main attraction of Shpock is that it was free to sell.

I have just tried to put on an item and it's now requiring that I sign up to a selling fee.

Sorry, but no. I only list items a couple of times a year. Why would I pay £1.99 a month for that?

Shpock have made a HUGE error in charging users to sell items.

I won't be using anymore. Back to Ebay I go.

The apps dead. Not like it used to be.

This used to be a good app.. 8/9 years ago. But in recent years it’s got worse and worse to the point it’s now a dead app. Too many ads, way too many sellers and not enough buyers. Too many scammers, no longer free at all. I gave up with it a while ago now as I had items listed for well over a year and got absolutely nothing, not even someone asking a question. It never used to be like that, I’d have people coming to collect something most days.
It seems more and more people are deciding to give up with it now. Don’t waste your time. Unless the app goes back to how it used to be it’s pointless. Developers are killing their own app. The whole thing will be completely gone before long if they carry on.

Worst !!!!

Worst than I can imagine!
I subscribed for premium,knowing I can prompte 2 items in a month, but after promoting 2 items in 3 days twice ( because thats the only option - 3 days) when i tried to promote it again that option disappeared!!! I can promote if i pay again for promoting/boosting the item. I am premium member. This is scam! Do not subscribe! No one seeing your post, no buyers waste of money. Better Vinted and Tradera free listings.

With your Premium Membership you receive two promotions, which last 3 days each. You can either promote two listings for 3 days or a single listing for 6 days.

Shpock is now a pay to sell platform

Shpock used to be free to sell not that I used it that much. Will never use it to sell now that there is a subcription fee. Shpock are kidding themselves if they think people will pay to sell when ebay, gumtree, FBM, preloved are all free to sell.

Seit die Gebühren verlangen für Verkäufer ist Shpock für mich gestorben... Dann halt wieder Kleinanzeigen..🤗 Erst habe sie versuch mit den verknüpfen des Paypal Kontos Geld abzugreifen aber wer schlau war hat gemerkt das einem das keinen Vorteil bringt außer mehr Kosten.. Und jetzt wollen sie ne Gebühr.. Ne danke..🤗

Tried to list an item and its now charging a subscription free.
Even ebay is free to list items now!
it's goodbye for me shpock.
So many other places that don't charge, facebook marketplace, ebay (now) gumtree, vinted etc. etc..
I liked the local thing with shpock but ya need to give whoever thought of that one the sack lol

Sent 3 emails with the screenshots as asked yet they claim they have not received any from me

If they’re FB page accepted uploading pictures then life would be so much easier but as i have tagged them on my Facebook statuses then it can be said that i have provided evidence atleast 4 times now since my recent review on here

Just goes to show that the truth provided goes unseen by Shpock

So all in all Shpock are just putting fees on for the greed and not what they’re claiming

If Shpock stops the fees they will gain more customers and better reviews from them but as they won’t get rid of the fees then they’ll be making a loss

A Google search will generally show information gathered from all relevant websites, even those that are not directly related to us, but still provide information that may be outdated. We have reached out to all the ones of which we are aware, but ultimately we have no direct influence on when they will update their information about Shpock.

We therefore recommend to rely on the information provided on our website, where it is clearly communicated that Shpock is free for buyers. While sellers have to pay a membership fee, users who only intend to make purchases are not obligated to do so.

Es ist sehr unübersichtlich…

Es ist sehr unübersichtlich geworden,!Eine Käufer (schon öfter gekauft) konnte den Kauf NICHT TÄTIGEN, weil nicht damit zurecht kam. Es ist wirklich schade ,bin schon seit so vielen Jahren dabei,und muss feststellen das immer weniger hier verkaufe.Das was ich Noch eingestellt hab lass ich so,und werde nicht's ändern. Aber auch keine neuen Sachen reinstellen,dazu wird viel-viel zu wenig gekauft,.

Greedy Greedy

Created something great that was free, started with extra payment to bust listing, then extra payment to add more pictures and now want money to even create listing. Greedy, greedy. Wanted to list another item now and well, well you have to subscribe now to do so, no email with information about changes showing just how much you care about your customers. Hopefully some new app will soon be created instead and for now going to Facebook marketplace.

Jedoch werden es aktuell immer weniger Leute die dort noch Aktiv sind oder die App löschen,

Der Grund für meine Bewertung ist das Spock jetzt auf einmal Gebühren verlangt fürs verkaufen, Werbung hin oder her man sollte dies selbst wählen können Werbung ja und kostenlos oder keine Werbung und ein Beitrag zahlen,aber ich mache doch kein Monats ABO das man kündigen kann auch wenn es nur ein klein Betrag ist, für ein paar Verkäufe die gut gehen oder die nicht gut gehen und ich nichts verkauft kriege da die meisten auf andere platt Form deswegen wechseln.
da bleib ich doch lieber wieder bei eBay die sind nämlich kostenlos zum Verkauf die haben es wohl bemerkt das es mit Gebühren kein Sinn macht, und auf Ebaykleinanzeigen oder Vinted

Schade, Spock es war schön mit euch, solange das so ist bei Spock werde ich die App entfernen und hoffen das dem Spock Team was einfällt um seine Kunden noch rechtzeitig zurück zu gewinnen bevor es zu spät ist.

Went back to sell

Went back to sell, had to pay a fee. Cancelled the subscription straight after. Thumbs Down.
Got a response from Shpock, it was the same as all their replies/excuses,"Copied and pasted".
Will not use them. Shame on Shpock Policy Makers.

Spock ist einfach nur eine Katastrophe. Verkäufer müssen zahlen und man kann nur 4 Bilder hochladen, der Text ist auch beschränkt. Viele der Anfragen sind von Betrügern, die dir erklären, wie der Kauf ablaufen soll. Nie wieder! Ich inseriere nur mehr bei Willhaben, dort funktioniert alles einwandfrei!

um Shpock zu einer nachhaltigen Plattform zu machen, die nicht von Werbung abhängt, haben wir uns entschieden, eine geringe Mitgliedsgebühr einzuheben. Deine Mitgliedschaft enthält zahlreiche zusätzliche Features: keine Werbung, Premium-Support, kostenlose Promotions, zusätzliche Anzeigen-Fotos und vieles mehr.

Wir arbeiten laufend daran, unsere Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu verbessern. Leider kann es in seltenen Fällen dennoch vorkommen, dass User mit betrügerischen Absichten Anfragen stellen. Bitte melde Probleme bei einem Deal direkt über das Menü rechts oben in eurem Chat, damit wir rasch eingreifen können.

Shpock Has Ruined Itself – Membership Just to List? No Thanks!

I used to love using Shpock to buy and sell items, but they’ve completely ruined the platform. Now, you can’t even create a listing unless you PAY for a membership!

Why would anyone pay just to list items when sites like Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, and eBay let you do it for free? This is a greedy move that will drive away users and kill the platform. Shpock was supposed to be a place for casual selling, not a subscription-based service.

They don’t even communicate these changes properly—suddenly, I couldn’t list anything without getting a message saying I need to “purchase a membership.” Ridiculous. Avoid Shpock and use better alternatives while you still can!

Wollte mich gerade wieder einloggen…

Wollte mich gerade wieder einloggen nach zwei Jahren. Musste feststellen dass es über PC oder Laptop gar nicht mehr möglich ist etwas zu kaufen oder zu verkaufen.
Das ist wohl ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Für mich ein eindeutiges Ausschließungskriterium. Mir ist keine Verkaufsplattform bekannt die nicht über PC bedienbar ist.
Dass für jeden die bereits verkauften Artikel einsehbar sind und an wen sie verkauft wurden, einsehbar ist, das würde ich als absolutes nogo ansehen. Auch ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
Aber egal, die Verkaufschancen waren vor Jahren schon bescheiden und jetzt wahrscheinlich unter 0.

Hi Erich, vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Natürlich kannst du weiterhin auch auf der Webseite kaufen und verkaufen. Für das Verkaufen wird eine Mitgliedschaft benötigt, die derzeit nur über die App erworben werden kann. Sobald du eine aktive Mitgliedschaft besitzt, kannst du wie gewohnt auch über die Webseite Anzeigen erstellen.
Dein Feedback bezüglich der Einsehbarkeit verkaufter Artikel wurde notiert und wir werden uns Gedanken machen, wie wir diese Funktion verbessern können.

Been on shock for a while came on today…

Been on shock for a while came on today to find out you need to pay to make a new listing? Absolutely shocking. Will be deleting my account and using other platforms!!! I love how when they reply to reviews they never once acknowledge that they have very few users left in the UK that's why they have to start charging cause they don't have the user numbers! Your literally pushing your last customers away!! customers have far better choices out there e.g eBay and gumtree (which by the way charge nothing) all they keep saying is that are a small team!!! Most small companies are?? But that doesn't make them bad? Worst excuse ever!!! Shpock you are destroying yourselves and when your app goes under you will only have yourselves to blame!! Keep clear of these cowboys making bad excuses for their bad company.
