Description in one of the shoes pairs I bought was misleading. The main material is not leather, is a very low quality plastic derivative that looks a bit lose even new without a single wearing. Also in these, the sole is too big, in the promotional pictures the proportion between the sole and the shoe, matches better (maybe the pictures are in dark tones to soften the contrast of the excess size)
The same pair came with an imperfection in the stitching of the sole to the soe, in the back of one of the shoes.

In both pairs, the soles are very cheap looking and is not enough griping texture or design patterns on them.
The brown leather ones are indeed leather...it feel like it, but the design is a bit boring and the low quality sole takes the life out of them.

The shoes are a cheap looking ones, you can get same looking shoes without branding coming from cheap labour markets in Asia for 20 to 30 pounds in any street shoes shop

Maybe to justify the brand, apart of the online marketing and the insistence on costumers for doing a review on your pairs, can be improving the design of the soles, for example..... you can still buying cheap shoes in the asian cheap mega factories but printing a fancy good quality sole beautiful stitched to the cheap leather shoe and do it and sale in here. UK made and fancy.
Anyway facilitating the returning and refunding process is also a good point, you doing that part well.

Not feeling great about the sending of emails asking for a reviewing, like said before. Four or five emails and I didn't were the shoes yet.
More attention to details and less in online bots and automated promotion hooks, please.

Shoes arrived ahead of time and fitted well.
However, I had to clean a dirty mark off the suede. Hence 4 stars.

Bought Smithfield suede slippers for my husband for xmas. They are already coming apart, and looking really scruffy and the soles leave black marks. Very disappointed, thought they would be a quality product. Did write to customer service but no response.

Their reply:
We’re sorry to hear about the issue with your Smithfield slippers. Unfortunately, as the purchase was made on 23/11/24, this is well beyond our 30-day warranty period. Additionally, we no longer sell on John Lewis, so we are unable to provide a replacement, even if we wanted to.

Boots ordered are great, comfy and excellent value too. Delivery was quick and convenient.

Only reason 1 star missing was I signed up for their newsletter to receive the advertised 10% first order and this did not apply to my order. I reached out to them straight away and have not heard back from them which is a shame.

The shoes that were on sell didn't fit at all, I'm now skeptical when companies have huge sale on items.
The size I ordered are typical and should have fit, but these shoes were super narrow, I'm shocked at whoever designed them.

Washbag fabulous however logo was too prominent on the wash bag.. would have preferred to be logo less
