WORST PEOPLE EVER
Call center is in Asia. Workers speak very poor English, and if you ask for a Supervisor you get an excuse and hung up on.
I got an email shipping confirmation for something I did not buy. The operator refused to tell me what card paid for it, how it happened or why. (JUST IGNORE IT HE SAID) I asked for a manager and was told he can't do that because they are trained to handle anything and hung up. I called back and asked for a supervisor, got and excuse and was immediately hung up on.

Simple Mobile is an outlaw operation that will not provide you with your Transfer Pin Number if you decide to get a different phone service and keeping your same phone number. These criminals went one step further and placed a filter on my new phone which prevented me from making calls to a landline. Congress needs to step in and stop these bandits who have the worst customer service that I've ever experienced.

Real poor customer service. Most don't speak English or understand it. I bought a phone from Walmart tried to activate it on the website. It keep coming back wrong SIM card. I then called there half ass customer service department. He tried it twice and said I bought the wrong SIM card. I told him lts the one that came with the phone. He then told me I was lying. I told him then they should send me one that will work in the phone at there cost. He then called me a liar again and said that this is not one of there phones. Good way to get rid of customers. I will never have any dealings with simply mobile -straight talk- or as far as that goes Verizon in the future. If that is the way they treat people they won't get me money.

Horrendous service by Simple Mobile
On August 14, 2023 I purchased a new SIM card from Simple Mobile Services to activate on my branded Simple Mobile phone. However, the initial SIM card proved to be incompatible with my phone, leading to a replacement request. After numerous calls, approximately 7 to 8, I was finally issued a new SIM card. This ordeal itself was incredibly time-consuming and left me disheartened.
Upon receiving the new SIM card and initiating the service, I faced another setback. I was informed that the plan I had paid for had been mistakenly associated with another account. Following a protracted argument lasting for about an hour, a representative eventually clarified that this was not the case. The sheer lack of coordination and communication within the company's support team was exasperating.
As if these issues were not enough, a subsequent problem arose with the newly initiated service. While I could make outbound calls from my phone, I was unable to receive incoming calls. This restriction on my ability to receive calls severely hampered my ability to communicate effectively, which is the primary purpose of a mobile service.
The climax of my ordeal occurred when, during three consecutive nights at 3 am, both the new Simple Mobile phone and a separate phone that had once dialed the new number began ringing each other inexplicably. This situation, devoid of any human interaction, resulted in the disruption of two households' sleep and caused considerable distress.
In my continued efforts to resolve these issues, I reached out to Simple Mobile's customer service again. However, my experience took an even more distressing turn when the representative I spoke with simply hung up the phone, displaying a complete lack of professionalism and customer care.
Simple Mobile failed to deliver promised services, causing distress. This experience reflects poorly on their customer commitment. I will be seeking a full refund for prepaid service and will never ever again come back to the company that doesn't care about its customers.

No internet connection
I have been with simple mobile since 2017 and the service was great when they were with t-mobile. I started with the $25 plan but after the data cannot was slow. I upgraded to the $50 truly unlimited plan and that was awesome service. Now I had to upgrade to the $60 plan and it is horrible every since they switched over to Verizon. I barely 3ver have an internet connection. I have to be on wifi for the internet to work. I'm very unhappy and disappointed with simple mobile. I used to recommend them to everyone but now I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The service is horrendous and inconvenient. Go back to the old simple mobile before this switch.

If I can give 0 star, I do it. After I bought two sim cards one for myself and the other one for my husband to use in the Srates, I found out that I had to call the customer service to activate the plan. Usually and in any country I travel the activation is done through the instrctions on the card that accompany the sim card. My coysin had to call for me because I had no data to call. The phone calls were activated but not the data, which I needed to use the GPS. The make the story short, i spent 6 hours stucked in the hotel calling their customer agents, who hanged up the phone on me. I wasted my money and my time, plus I haf to use my country roaming data. This us a pure SCAM.

Day eight with no phone service The nightmare begins with an automated software upgrade that knocks out phone and text and mobile data. Chat people, after thee hours can't give me any answer. Next day it's more of the same texts, chats, phone alls lead to frustrating dead ends. Finally some AVp is updated and Im good for a couple of hours then boom, phone will never turn on again.after more troubleshooting I order a new phone to be overnighted . Attempting to activate itis a joke. They want to send a code to the dead one hour later im on the phone more bs then they tell me I have to call from another phone. They ask me for my pin. Well, I use two pins My major 4 digit pin for everything, and a just in case backup. Im told that I am giving the wrong pin, and I cannot use my old phone number, I will have to use a new one. This day I go through 14 different chats and calls. Next day is more of the same. I'm tolds I need to buy a new siIM card. I go to their store, where owner laments thre process and tells me good luck, Its changed I probably wont succeed. I forgot to mention how many times I am hung up on, and the annoying AI bot that initiates conversations. You need to tel him at least 30 times "AGENT"Ihad spent the day before, My birthday wawsting my toime, and noone could contact me to make any palns or wish me a happy birthday (just another small irritant) I bounce around a couple of people after having hit multiple dead ends attempting to log into my account online. I reacha point where a huge ugly sign tells me I nn to talk to someone. Its a major security alert. I get hung up on twice, the ird person wants to send a verification email to me I give him my email and I wait. Nothing shows up, I check the spam folder still nothing. Back and forth with the guy who insists i used a different email. No dude, Ive been using this email for ner 25 years. He refuses to budge, refuses to give me any idea of what the enaikl is as Im thinking they enterd the wrong email addrress when I bought the phone Cant tal to supervisor and the smug phone tech is rude, condescending I am furious when he also dismisses me. Its late, too late to call again I go to the website and poke around for half hour. I reach a place where i do the forgot password. please send a link to my registered email to change the password. Go figure, it is sent to the email I had expected. The rep wsa lying to me for over 70 minutes. I manuever to where I find an old number. In the days that had passed my contract ran out so now CC payment is due. Im tired, and Im going to end this review right now and spare you the rest of the sordid details I am sitting here feeling angry . It is night time so customer service is closed. Day nine will begin shortly dealing with smug reprehensible customer service repsLets see what obstacles they throw up. over 20 years using cell phones NEVER encountered such a horrible customer service. I loath giving them1 star...they dont deserve it.

Stay away. Absolutely garbage. This is a third world backyard operation. After calling a week prior to inform i was going to be in Italy and needed coverage, agent confirmed i was all set. Arrived in Italy to find out I can’t use the phone as they don’t cover italy.
Bad Simple Mobile Experience
I was planning to buy an IPhone 11 through Simple Mobile, but wanted to keep my current service provider. I called and asked if that was possible, and they said that would be fine. So I ordered the phone, and after it came, I called to ask for them to unlock it so that I could use my other service.
However, they told me this time that I would have to pay a $300 fee or wait 12 months under their service before I could get it unlocked and use another provider:(
