We are really happy with the work carried out, our new stove looks lovely. We have been so impressed with the whole team. Danielle has been incredibly efficient and organised, and communicated brilliantly throughout. Marcus, Wayne and Ken really know what they are doing, and have paid attention to detail to ensure the quality of the work. There were some challenges with this job, including taking out and then putting back in an original Victorian fireplace surround, but real care and patience was shown to get it right. We have really valued the great attitude of the whole team, thank you all.

We chose Simply Grate to sweep a chimney and put a cap on it, as from a Google search for local chimney companies there were genuinely located locally. They were excellent throughout: quick and efficient in quoting and arranging the two visits to do the work, and the two sets of workers were friendly, efficient and left the place spotless. Would definitely use them again.

A family owned business with very good customer service; process from survey to quote to installation was well organised. Tenacity in resolving on-site issues - they found a blockage in the stack. So they accessed through loft wall to remove /repair. Their making good & after tidy was excellent and installation looks stunning. I went for the Portway Luxima model.
I price checked with some other companies before choosing Simply Grate and I feel I got very good value from them.

We were looking at renovating two fireplaces in our Sutton home. I contacted Simply Grate Stoves & Fireplaces and they came over the next day to provide some advice and measure up prior to quoting. My wife and I then went to their showroom to look at the extensive range of fireplaces, mantels etc. The decision was made to upgrade the proposed wood burner on the spot. Danielle and the team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we appreciated their advice. A new quote received and accepted and work started the following Monday. The installation team were fantastic. They keep the property clean and protected. Installation was completed without issue and their attention to the final details is commendable. We could not recommend Simply Grate Stoves & Fireplaces more highly.

The team that came and installed it wore quite fast in doing so and I was positively supvise of haw they worked oround our schedule and did a trip just to install the floor slate prior to the actual date of install so I can continue with the layout of my flooring.

Fantastic company to deal with. I needed my log burner uninstalled, and the guys did this for me very quickly and left no mess whatsoever. Very reasonably priced. Danielle was also very helpful in obtaining information for me. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This company was just amazing! we found them online and got a quote from them and a few other companies and they were so knowledgeable and professional we decided to go with them and thank goodness we did. Our fireplace was very problematic and they solved every problem they came across, nothing was impossible. They provioded the whole service from structural builders, plasterers to fitters they took care of everything and all the work was done to an exceptional standard. Comminication was also great, constant updates and always prompt to respond to questions and queries, we felt safe in their hands.
We couldn't be happier and would not hesitate to receommend them.

Very pleased with our log burner, it looks great. The guys who installed it were polite, helpful, explained each stage, friendly and carried out a good job. The lady over the phone was always helpful and kept us in the loop about the different stages.

The team were incredibly friendly and approachable. Danielle in particular was superb at sorting out our order and keeping us informed and updated. All the tradesman who took part in the job were on time, tidy and did a wonderful job. Our fitter Russ was also fantastic, working tirelessly to get the fire fitted on time.

Great service from a Simply Grate shop. I had problems finding anyone to service a Valor gas coal effect fire, until I found Simply Grate Stoves and Fireplaces online. The initial contact by phone was dealt with by friendly and helpful staff, giving useful advice. There were no hidden costs and the service engineer arrived punctually at the time stated and was also friendly and clear about what needed to be done. COVID precautions were adhered to.

We have just had a Newman Panther SE installed by Simply Grate. They provided a very competitive price & provided an excellent service. Our heating had packed up & they bent over backwards to carry out the installation at the earliest opportunity. They arranged for the plasterer & organised the cherry picker. All whilst maintaining social distancing during the pandemic.

I called for a stove service one day and got a quote, the guys came the next day, on time, polite, clean and efficient and were true to the quote. Pleasure to use a company that “does what they say on their tin” ... highly recommended.
