Dealing with Adrian is a great experience. Able to share ideas as well as him giving some great tips. No pressured environment. Overall it is great guidance and well worth the money considering the long term benefits.

Like many people drinking too much was becoming a really bad habit that was no longer serving me. It seemed as though the more I decided to drink less the more I drank. Luckily, I came across The Sinclair Method & It was a game changer. I now choose if, when and how much I drink.

I came across The Sinclair Method UK having done months and months of research into the treatment and the excellent results that can be achieved if you engage with the program and take the medication 1 hour before drinking alcohol.
From initial contact with Adrian, the process has been well explained and the guidance easy to follow. The results are life changing.
For anybody wishing to take back control of your alcohol consumption, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Thought it useful to add an update, 6 months since I started TSM.
I was a daily drinker of beer mainly, for 25+ years. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10+ cans per day, every day.
I never really thought it was a problem. Held down a good job, etc, etc
6 months in, I am now drinking beer once, or possibly twice per week on average, and this is through social habit meeting friends rather than the cravings I used to have.
Liberation is truly amazing. Give this a go if you have any doubts or concerns about your own alcohol consumption.

I have struggled with alcohol for more 20 years, mainly as a binge drinker, multiple times passing out, and having black outs... Many times I have tried to quit, but it was never practical or effective... and I kept falling again on the same negative vicious circle.
I have been following the Sinclair Method for the last 10 months now, and have successfully prevented me from getting drunk and got me away from any binge drinking. I still enjoy the occasional drink, but with Naltrexone is a game changer.... no urge for the extra drink, no binge drinking...

For a problem drinker like myself this medication is a godsend. I have been doing the method for more than a year now and I could minimise my drinking to a level that I have a relative control over myself and do what I always wanted. When I took the Naltrexone as per the instructions, it stopped me getting into binge drinking and after a few months there was a noticeable decrease in the amount of drinks I had when I forgot to take it. If you struggle with the drink, and see a steady decline in you wellbeing and quality of life, then this pill can give your control back. A caveat needs to be addressed though. It is not a magic pill that will instantly take your problems away (It is close to it). Naltrexone shuts you away from the rewarding feelings of alcohol and weakens the cravings. It does not deal with negative emotions facilitating drinking and past traumas. Naltrexone is just a great tool with its limitations and it needs to be complimented with other therapy approaches, which is provided by the great team of this company. My therapist, Adrien is a top-notch professional, who gave me invaluable advices and without him, the positive change I have been experiencing could not be achieved. I will always be grateful for that and also gave me inspiration to work in the field as a therapist in the future.

I heard about the Sinclair method on tiktok and knew I had to try it. It is slowly changing my life and my drinking habits and I'd highly recommend it to anyone with alcohol use disorder. Adrian is very friendly and encouraging and answers any questions you might have in the beginning.

I have now been on Naltrexone for nearly four months and Adrian and the rest of the team have been absolutely incredible and supportive throughout. I was amazed by how quickly they were able to get Naltrexone to me.

I had tried to get Naltrexone from my GP (who had never heard of it despite it being FDA approved since 1984), with no success. He referred me to a local drug and alcohol support clinic, who told me while they "technically could prescribe Naltrexone, they very rarely do". They even tried to talk me out of it, suggesting complete abstinence from alcohol with the support of another drug instead. This was despite me telling them that I was putting myself in high-risk situations because I was struggling to do abstinence long-term.

I sincerely hope that the misinformation and taboo surrounding a drug like Naltrexone that is to be used alongside drinking dissolves in the next few years. I started following the Sinclair Method in November and am so grateful to have found Naltrexone and the Sinclair Method team in my mid-20s. I don't want to think what would have happened if I had not found this drug and support system, as despite all the willpower, therapy, podcasts, quit lit etc. I just couldn't stay abstinent from alcohol for more than 3 months or so at a time.

How it has changed my drinking: Before I would not be able to stop once I started, the dopamine rush was so intense that like a rat in a lab dependent on a drug, all I could do was keep drinking. The high I chemically got from alcohol was so different to that of "take it or leave it drinkers". I never understood how other people could just stop after two or three drinks. I never understood how it could be a choice. I blamed myself for something that I now understand was, in many ways, beyond my control.

Since taking Naltrexone the euphoria feeling that I got from alcohol is gone. Yes I still feel tipsy or a bit drunk, but its like the glitter and intense rush is taken away. Now all the glitter comes from real life. I can now stop whenever I want, it feels like my choice for a change. I am no longer terrified about ending up blacking out or in dangerous situations, because I never get to that point. I had a party last night and left my second glass of wine unfinished, because I just didn't fancy finishing it. I never could have or would have done that before Naltrexone. The way it has altered my brain chemistry astounds me, and I finally get why, in the past, other people struggled so much to understand why I couldn't stop drinking once I started.

Thank you so much to Adrian and the rest of the Sinclair Method team, the work you are doing is genuinely life saving, and I am never going to stop raving about it because there are so many people out there whose lives could be changed by Naltrexone too, and because of the "abstinence or nothing" narrative around drugs and alcohol, are being blocked, discouraged, and entirely kept in the dark about this amazing little piece of science.

Firstly I never provide reviews and I’ll keep this short. I was a 5 to 8pint+ strong IPA daily drinker in November. I very gradually under my own will + using naltrexone, reduced to a few days a week with one or two heavy ones over Xmas. I have sconce managed a dry January, the first in 20 plus years. I don’t feel I could have achieved this pre treatment. Over the phone help is readily available and I also found the GP consultation fine, I was a bit sceptical. I’ve a had a cpl of beers in Feb but found I’m not that bothered either way. Currently figuring out what my end goal looks like but I feel like I’ve finally broken the cycle that I want to!

My personal note:
If you start the treatment don’t expect some huge immediate affect, it creeps up on you. You will need some will power but it’s 100 times easier!
And worth it!!

Achieved what I thought was impossible.

Having done residential rehab, A.A, N.A, and extensive therapy, to no avail, I was reaching a breaking point.

Naltrexone has likely saved my life. It is not a 100% magic pill, there is still self discipline and willpower involved, but the results for me have been amazing. From high functioning alcoholism, drinking upon waking most mornings, to essentially complete sobriety within 3 months. It's amazing to have the ability to stay sober, since I was a teen that has never felt within my power.

Upon first taking the pill I did experience some side effects, and the first few weeks I did still drink fairly heavily, but trust the process and let it work. I still crave alcohol from time to time intensely, I'm able to ignore it mostly, but if I can't, as long as I take my pill, I know that I'll be able to stop and resume my new life the next day.

I can't thank the team (In particular Joanne who was working with me) enough.

The costs are 100% worth it. And they pale in comparison to rehab. Also no bible bashing required for medication! The NHS needs to be pushed to catch up, this tool needs to be more utilised.

I have always struggled with the off button when it comes to alcohol consumption. I have gone through periods of not drinking at all which I really struggled with, to then binge drinking weekends at a time. After hearing about the Sinclair method from researching the drug naltrexone hydrochloride I decided to give the programme a go. I haven’t looked back since. My experience with the Sinclair Method has been great. I have had support and advice when I have needed it. I would highly recommend this programme to anyone struggling to control their drinking but not wanting to give up completely.

Having wrestled for a while with cutting down on alcohol without any success, I found Sinclair Method on a FB page. Adrian was very responsive and guided me through the first part of the process with a lot of encouragement. The doctor who assessed me was great and the tablets arrive in no time each order.

The medication really makes a difference, gradually I felt less and less interested in drinking though admittedly with some lapses - again the support from Adrian really helps along the way, I never felt judged at all so could be completely honest.

For me 2024 has been alcohol free so far and I would put a lot of that down to Adrian and the Sinclair method. Give a go if you are serious about cutting down or giving up, the Sinclair method definitely works!

I have been drinking heavily,daily for the last 8 years since my younger only sibling died from Oesophageal Cancer.All I wanted was oblivion.I came to TSM following an utterly soul destroying episode trying to get help in UK via my GP and then an Addiction charity who refused to prescribe Natrexone.As a registered nurse I knew of the evidence base for the way Natrexone works , it makes sense to me.Im only in week 10 but thrilled that this method is working for me.Im down to 21 units last week 4 days AF after starting in wk1 at 45 units with no AF days.The work though has to be done by you.... working alongside the TSM counsellor and using Natrexone as your safety net.It gives you the ' space ' to reflect without the anxiety about feeling deprived of being able to drink.Trust me this works but it is not a magic wand.Ill post another review later in my journey to tell what happens next.Please don't hesitate to begin just reach out.

I wanted to cut down, not stop, and TSM has been extremely effective for me. Adrian contacted me minutes after I completed the contact form (October 2023) and offered an introductory meeting the following morning. I then spoke to Dr Janey (kind, wise, personable), who followed up with a consultation summary and prescription (and also very useful suggested reading list). I then had an LFT test. The tablets were with me within a couple of days. Since then I have had two virtual meetings with Adrian and he has several times checked in on me to see how I am getting on and assure me more (highly competent) support is available should it be needed. In summary I would say the process has been managed with integrity by highly motivated, caring and competent professionals. Recommended!
