Hello John, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am really sorry that we've not put our best foot forward here. To confirm, we received your order for a Droyt's Soap Collection, which contains 5x bars of soap - one from each of their range. Unfortunately when we came to send your order we realised that we were out of stock of 3 of the items. On realising our error we refunded your order and contacted you to advise that we were shipping to you free of charge the 2 items we did have available. Out of stocks are rare, but when they happen they are very frustrating. We know that as a retailer and when it has happened to us as a customer. We are very sorry that this has happened to your order and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Your free soaps will be with you very soon. Hello Stephen, thank you for getting in touch via Trustpilot. We've contacted you via our support email in order for us to communicate more easily now you've raised the issue with us via Trustpilot. To confirm, we received your order Saturday 6th of May, Shipped it Tuesday 9th of May. Normally this is a 48 hour service but we can see that the courier has requested more information from you about the address. They have requested that you contact them in order to help as as they are struggling to get to the address advised. UPDATE: After communicating via support email we established that the item was unfortunately broken in transit. We arranged a replacement to be sent out asap which was received without issue 6 working days after the initial problem had been flagged. We're pleased we were able to solve this issue, and apologise that it arrived broken in the first instance. Sometimes despite our best efforts things can get broken in transit. As ever with SGB, the British products are great quality and the service from the SGB folk is excellent. The goods arrived well packaged and on time. A pleasure to do business with which is rare nowadays and there's no Chinese tat on offer!

What a truly amazing company
What a truly amazing company. The Farmer's Scrub is so good that for the first time in an age I don't have 'blue-spray' hands! It smells devine without being overpowering and my hands feel so lovely.
The courier sent a misleading email regarding the delivery of our Farmer's Scrub but Sir Gordon sorted it out quickly and efficiently with a kindness that calmed my worries.
I'm thrilled to have found this company...not only for the hand scrub but because of the absolute first class service. Thank you

Birthday present + shipping to Ireland
I purchased the navy smock (Yarmouth Oilskins) for my partner as a birthday present. My partner had forwarded me a link to a similar smock from another company, but unfortunately that company did not provide shipping from the UK to Ireland. Fortunately I found a nearly identical smock with SGB! I really appreciated that this company ships to Ireland/EU and made it easy on my end (I am currently based in the US) so I didn't have to track it through customs or make extra payments toward import charges. My partner really loves the smock, he's a gardener by trade and has worn it everyday since it arrived and said the quality is really lovely. Many thanks to Dan for responding to my questions regarding shipping and help tracking the package through to delivery. I will definitely look here for future birthday gifts (and Christmas as well)! A very nice experience shopping with SGB. The 1st Droyt's dispatched I tried was very nice. The shaving soap will be tried later in the week. SGB have been very good as a supplier, the little touches with the delivery were a very nice touch.
