Sleeping better with Sixways cocoa
Love the taste of your cocoa with magnesium and it is helping me settle at night.
I make it with a quarter cup of boiling water, into which I stir the teaspoon of powder. I top that with oat milk and full fat dairy milk and heat in the microwave. I then stir in half a teaspoon of local Lincolnshire honey, and it is a delicious bedtime drink. My only worry is that sometimes there is a substantial amount of sediment left at the bottom of the cup. And that this is goodness being wasted. I do stir thoroughly, but then allowing to cool a little before drinking, and wonder if I should glug it back while it is piping hot?

Regarding the sediment, it’s common with natural ingredients. To minimise this, try stirring the drink again before finishing or giving it a gentle swirl as you drink. Or we do recommend using a mini electric whisk if you have one. Allowing it to cool a bit before drinking is perfectly fine; you don't need to drink it piping hot.
Your preparation method sounds wonderful, especially with the addition of local honey. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

Disappointed
Sadly I just didn’t think the product lived up to the hype. A very expensive malty drink which doesn’t taste good at all. And sadly hasn’t supported by sleep struggles

We worked hard to ensure the blend contains a high quantity of natural extracts and adaptogenic ingredients, while also being enjoyable to drink however we understand it may not be to everyone's taste. Awful taste, smell & look
Having tried other similar mushroom and cacao powders, I found this extremely unpalatable together with its overpowering smell of mushrooms and even looking grayish. My friend and I had a tasting session of a few similar powders and this was by far the worse by a long stretch.

The taste and smell of this product is so pungent that I struggled to drink it.
The taste of this product is so strong that I'm sure I cannot be the only person who throws this away. As it is an expensive product I did contact six ways who suggested I use an alternative milk. I did try it with soya ( oat first night) but it was undrinkable to me. I think it would be better to be able to buy a sample first before purchasing a packet or Sixeays offer a money back guarantee. No difference to my sleep on both nights.

The hot chocolate isn’t nice
The hot chocolate isn’t nice. It is drinkable however a drink has to be nice in order for me to get it down. I had really high hopes for this. The mango drink is nice flavour wise however I have to shake it almost every time I want to sip out my bottle because it just falls back to the bottom again and now and again I will feel it is a bit grainy and doesn’t make me feel refreshed like if I’m drinking cordial or plain water. . I have clear whey protein shake and thought it would’ve been similar that it stays shaken and you don’t have to keep shaking but it’s not. . Sad to say I’m not keen on either and feel like I’ve wasted my money.

Taste is something that is individual and we aware we cannot always please everyone, however there are many ways to make the powder, please get in touch via Customer Service and we can explain some of the ways you can make the powder and potentially find a taste you enjoy !
Did not really work for me
I got this in the hope it would help me with my sleep but it did not really work for me.
Still takes me a long time to fall asleep, but main problem is that it doesn't matter if i drink 1 hour before i go to bed or towards 2 hours before I go to bed, I now always end up waking up in middle of night to go urinate and then it takes me long time to fall asleep. By the time my alarm goes off, I feel even more tired than I was before using this product.
It does taste decent and I put it in hot water as it stirs in well. In milks, it doesn't really mix well and clumps up a bit.

I really like the taste & seems to work
I really like the taste, most things like this, don’t taste great and I was pretty dubious about mango flavour, but it’s great, refreshing and seems to work, I’ve taken it on an off for 2 weeks, the first week was having religiously and it helped with my energy and focus. I took it one day on the weekend when I was lying on the sofa, feeling tired and lethargic but after having it I was able to get my housework done. I like that it doesn’t have caffeine, because if it did, I’d just think that the caffeine is what’s doing the trick, so it must be the lions mane! Also Maca is great too. I’d buy again. Some other flavours worth thinking about:
