This is our second hot tub. We decided to get rid of our electric one due to the cost of running and replace it with a wood-fired one. A Skargards Regal.
Our first hot tub was delivered and installed by a team who didn’t leave until it was up and running. We were in it the following day.

Our Skarsgards hot tub was left on our driveway by a guy who rocked up in a Luton Van. Just one guy, in a Luton Van.

He arrived and I cleared a space on the driveway for the hot tub to go and stood back. He spoke virtually no English but he did know the word “Help”, which he started screaming frantically as he maneuvered the massive hot tub on a tiny pallet, onto the equally tiny lift platform.

The weight of the hot tub was lifting him up into the air and I had to leap onto the lorry to stop the hot tub from falling off. Between us we managed to get the hot tub onto the platform.

However, the package was too large to actually lower the platform. He had to lower the platform, whilst pushing the hot tub at an angle. We then had to shout for my wife to come out and stand on the ground pushing as hard as she could to ensure the hot tub wouldn’t fall out of the back of the van, as we were both stuck on the other side, desperately trying to stop the bottom of the pallet from flipping over.

If it had fallen, it most likely would have killed her.

Still, Skarsgards must have saved a few bob hiring a totally inappropriate vehicle for the job. So you have to look on the bright side.

I was aware that Skarsgards just dumped the tub on your driveway and drove off into the sunset. Other companies obviously don’t do this but we liked the look of the tubs so we bit the unusual bullet.

We made all of the measurements and discovered that the whole package could fit down our side alley.

Skarsgards had advised that the hot tub can be picked up and carried by 4-5 people. Let me warn you, it cannot.

We had five strong guys, one of which was a six foot five body builder, and we could not lift it by more than an inch. We removed all of the loose boxes attached to the pallet and tried again. Nope, could barely get it off the ground.

Now, the weight isn’t the issue here. It weighs 189kg and we had one guy who bench presses 150kg by himself. The problem is that the package is in a shape that you simply cannot lift. Imagine a standard wooden pallet, cut in half. The round tub is then placed on its side on top of the pallet. The round edges of the tub protrude a considerable distance over the edge of the pallet. The sides of the hot tub protrude over the width of the pallet.

To put it simply, there is literally nowhere to hold on to it. This makes it impossible to lift!

We thought about hiring a pallet truck but we have a 4 inch step in the side alley and there’s no way of getting it over if it cannot be lifted.

We have now had the hot tub for nearly three weeks. It is still sitting in our driveway on the pallet. Minus the side table, two tier step, rain cowl, flue guard protection, filtration system, bubble and light and the insulated lid. All of these things are sitting in my kitchen.

A crane to lift it over my house will leave little change out of £1000. Once this has been done, we have to figure a way of moving it into the position we want it. Not only that! We then have to build the bloody thing ourselves!

Absolute nightmare and we haven’t even got to use it!

We purchased a Skargards hot tub about two years ago, always following the usage instructions and performing regular maintenance. Despite this, a poorly tightened clamp — likely from the initial assembly — caused a major leak during heating, resulting in severe damage to the internal circuits due to overheating.

Even after providing photos and thoroughly explaining the situation, the company refused to acknowledge any responsibility or offer a goodwill gesture, simply stating that the warranty had expired. While I understand warranty limitations, it’s frustrating to face such costly repairs for what appears to be an installation defect.

I expected better customer care and a more thoughtful approach to loyal customers who invested in a premium product.

Skargards are the best
Nothing too much trouble we were concerned about buying from Sweden as opposed to the UK for backup and service.
The hot tub is very well made, well engineered and beautifully put together.

Jeg har kun haft positive oplevelser med Skargards og har haft mit Regal Dualburn i over tre år. Deres bade er ikke kun funktionelle, men også utrolig smukt designet og varmer hurtigt op. Hver detalje er gennemtænkt, og de skaber en perfekt atmosfære for afslapning. Jeg føler mig virkelig nede i gear, hver gang jeg bruger det – en fantastisk måde at koble af på med duften af bål og lyden af knitren fra ilden.

Ho acquistato la vasca Skargards circa un anno fa. La trovo fantastica molto comoda ed efficiente, in più bellissima esteticamente e facile da usare.. In inverno grazie al coperchio isolante tiene molto bene il calore, il giorno dopo averla utilizzata tiene la temperatura e mi basta accenderla anche solo un'oretta prima per raggiungere la temperatura ideale nonostante ci sia la neve fuori ... I materiali luxury utilizzati e le finiture curate nei piccoli dettagli la rendono davvero un prodotto premium di fascia alta rispetto alle vasche che si vedono in giro decisamente di un altro livello!

La tinozza è esattamente come da sito. Materiali di qualità assemblati con attenzione. Le tempistiche di spedizione e consegna sono state rispettate e l'assistenza (grazie Matteo) si è impegnata al massimo perchè ciò accadesse. Prodotto ed esperienza perfetti. Grazie Paola

La vasca è perfetta. Ho acquistato la versione con stufa normale, filtro e copertura isolante. La stufa impiega circa 3 ore e mezza per riscaldare l'acqua a 40°C. Dopo una notte a stufa spenta, la temperatura scende a 35°C, quindi l'isolamento è eccellente.
Se usata frequentemente, i giorni successivi i tempi di riscaldamento sono molto più brevi, perché l'acqua si mantiene sempre calda.
Eccellente anche l'assistenza da parte di Matteo e del trasportatore per garantire la consegna sotto casa senza intoppi.
Molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto.

Pga egen dumhet så behövde jag köpa en extra reserv ventil i efterhand men det löste supporten snabbt och smidigt.

En possession d'un bain Rojal depuis 1 année. Vraiment le top été comme hiver. On a été très content de A à Z de la commande à la livraison. Le bain est facile d'utilisation et d'entretien. Un conseil, soyez quand même bricoleur pour installer le filtre et la protection antigel. Ce n'est pas du plug and play, mais c'est faisable avec un bon outillage.

Siamo molto contenti del nostro acquisto, la vasca è bellissima di altissima qualità e funziona benissimo.

Einzig die Montageanleitung war zu wenig ausführlich. Der Aufwand für die Montage ist grösser ausgefallen als gedacht.

Nous sommes très satisfait du produit. La qualité est vraiment top et le chauffage au bois fonctionne très bien (mais il faut prendre le couvercle isolant, on gagne vraiment en terme d'énergie ! ). C'est un jacuzzi au bois et vu le prix de l'énergie, c'est vraiment une bonne alternative ! Nous l'avons placé derrière la maison près du jardin, la finition bois du bain nordique s'associe très bien avec d'autres éléments de décors ce qui en fait un espace très chaleureux à partager en famille et avec des amis !

Après plusieurs réflections, nous avons choisi de commander un bain nordic Skargards.

Le service est très professionnel, les délais sont respectés et les instructions claires. Le fait de pouvoir payer à réception du bien est un réel plus. Le bain est arrivé en parfait état et le matériel est de qualité.

Nous nous réjouissons de pouvoir en profiter et le baptiser durant cet hiver à la montagne. Nous savons également que si il y a un soucis, le service client sera à l’écoute et disponible, ce qui est rassurant.

Der skargards Hot Tub wirkt optisch sehr schön und hochqualitativ. Der Dualburn heizt wie angegeben in unter 2 Std. auf (12 Grad C - 40 Grad C) und hält dank Thermodeckel die Temperatur bis zum nächsten Tag (37->30 Grad C), so dass ein Anheizen am Folgeabend verlockend schnell geht.

Ich haben Zu- und Ablaufschläuche zum Filtersystem und das Filtergehäuse noch isoliert, um vermeidbare Wärmeverluste zu verringern. Schön wäre es, wenn Skargards dafür als Zubehör fertige Schlauchisolierungen anböte.

Top Beratung. Auf Fragen wird sehr schnell geantwortet. Qualität ist top! Kann ich wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
