They Don't Keep Their Promises

My flight on 07 June 2025 was delayed, so I submitted a compensation claim under EU261. I got an email on 01 December 2025 saying my claim was approved for (claim number MT343631759151831) and that I should enter my bank details. I did. And then… nothing.

As of 14 April 2026, I still haven’t received the payment. I’ve called the hotline multiple times and I keep getting the same line: that I’m “on the list awaiting compensation.” They also told me I should write by email, but the problem is nobody replies to my emails, and no one can give me even a rough timeframe.

What makes it even more frustrating is that a friend of mine got paid a few months ago, so clearly payments can happen — just not in my case.

Pessimi

Hanno cancellato il volo di rientro da Sharm El Sheikh verso Catania, e non lo hanno neanche comunicato, sono venuto a conoscenza solamente giunto in aeroporto, dove mi dicevano che non era previsto nessun volo della SkyUp Airlines in quella data

Very Very Very bad.

Very Very Very bad.I have been waiting for four years for a refund for a cancelled flight and have already received countless excuses, but still no refund. This is a fraudulent company. I have never experienced anything like this.

SkyUp is a clear example of an airline…

SkyUp is a clear example of an airline that completely disregards passengers’ rights.
After my flight was cancelled, instead of assistance I faced delays, avoidance, and a complete lack of accountability. The responses I received were generic templates with no real effort to resolve the issue. It strongly feels like the company is deliberately avoiding its obligations. Customer service is extremely poor — it is difficult to get in touch, responses are vague, and there is no genuine attempt to help. Passengers are left alone to deal with the consequences. What is especially disappointing is the lack of responsibility and respect toward customers, even in difficult circumstances. My experience shows that SkyUp is an unreliable airline that fails to provide proper service and does not fulfill its obligations to passengers.
I strongly do not recommend this airline.

ROSZCZENIE O POZASĄDOWE ROZSTRZYGANIE SPORÓW PASAŻERSKICH
z Urzędem Lotnictwa Cywilnego (CAA/ULC) .
Podstawą tego roszczenia są następujące podstawy:
Brak zapłaty przyznanego długu: W dniu 14.11.2025 r. Państwa linia lotnicza oficjalnie przyjęła roszczenie i przyznała odszkodowanie w wysokości 400 EUR na pasażera . Do dziś, pomimo podania danych bankowych zgodnie z prośbą, nie przelano żadnych środków.

Niezgodność z formalną korespondencją: Pomimo otrzymania potwierdzenia doręczenia mojego poleconego wezwania do zapłaty, Państwa firma nie podjęła żadnych działań w celu uregulowania długu wszystkich 4 pasażerów objętych moją rezerwacją (w łącznej kwocie 1600 EUR ).

Utrudnianie procesu składania reklamacji: Państwa linia lotnicza konsekwentnie ignoruje liczne wiadomości e-mail i telefony, co świadczy o braku woli polubownego rozwiązania tej sprawy.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with SkyUp Airlines on March 13 , flying to Phu Quoc.

First of all, we were not clearly informed in advance that meals had to be pre-ordered 48 hours before the flight. This is unacceptable for such a long journey.

Secondly, there was not enough food available onboard for purchase. How is it possible to operate a 15-hour flight (with 2 stops) without ensuring sufficient food for passengers?

To make things worse, we were given only 500 ml of water for the entire duration. This is simply inadequate and shows a complete lack of care for passengers’ basic needs.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards for a long-haul flight. I would not recommend this airline.

AVOID SCAMMERS!!!

I submitted my claim to SkyUp and as of today more than 9.5 weeks have passed without any real response. The airline itself referred me to EU Regulation 261/2004, which clearly requires a reply within 2 months. Despite this, all I received was a generic “please wait” message with no timeline, no update, and no progress.
This feels like deliberate delay and complete disregard for passengers’ rights.
Communication is minimal, slow, and unhelpful. If an airline cannot follow the basic legal deadlines it quotes itself, it raises serious concerns about reliability and customer service.
Very disappointing experience.

Samoloty stare i mało komfortowe..

Samoloty stare i mało komfortowe... mój bagaż został uszkodzony i po 3 miesiącach nadal nie otrzymałem odpowiedzi na reklamację! Dałbym zero gwiazdek, ale nie ma takiej możliwości, więc tą jedną gwiazdę daję stewardessa, które dzielnie wykonują swoją pracę mimo turbulencji.

Bis Heute (Mitte März 2026) schlage ich mich mit Formularen rum, um eine Entschädigung zu erhalten. Einzige Reaktion bislang 400 Euro für 4 Personen insgesamt - nicht pro Person. Dieses "Angebot" habe ich abgelehnt. Seitdem - Funkstille. Keinerlei Reaktion mehr über alle Kanäle.

Think carefully before booking tickets

Think carefully before booking tickets. I am an experienced traveler and understand flight delays and schedule changes, especially with low-cost carriers.

However, there seems to be a scheme here that resembles fraud. A round-trip ticket consists of an expensive outbound ticket and a cheaper return ticket. In the end, they operate the flight that makes up 70% of the total price, but the return flight is canceled. They notify passengers just a few days in advance so that there are no complaints. But I checked the departure board and the flight appears as scheduled!

As a result, I have not received a refund for almost six months. There are many similar reviews online. Customer support politely “stonewalls” inquiries without providing real help.

Skup odlatuje z cargo z pasażerami

Leciałem tydzień temu z lotniska Chopina Warszawa do Sarm el sheikh a dziś wracałem.Jestem bardzo zdziwiony że po odprawie zostaliśmy przewiezieni autobusami na część cargo i z tamtąd był odlot.Tak jak dziś po powrocie wylondowaliśmy ponownie na cargo. Mimo że nie było tłoku na lotnisku.Nie wiedziałem że Sky up aż tak oszczędza. Do tego samolot był bardzo brudny.Ochyda .

I purchased three round-trip tickets in…

I purchased three round-trip tickets in November 2025 to ensure my family’s travel plans well in advance. Both flights were cancelled approximately one month before departure, causing significant inconvenience and financial uncertainty.
Although refunds were processed, the late cancellation forced us to search for alternative flights at much higher prices.
This experience was highly disappointing and disrupted our family vacation plans.

Należy trzymać się z daleka

Samoloty są bardzo stare, na 4 godzinnym locie proponowany jest jedynie kubeczek z woda. Leciałam dwa razy na obu lotach były osoby które mdlały - słaba wentylacja. Mój bagaż uległ uszkodzeniu i przez 63 dni skarga nie została przeprocesowana. Z tego samego lotu min 6 osób miało połamane walizki - razem pobieraliśmy protokół na lotnisku. Reklamacja u przewoźnika to porażka. Przesłałam do centum konsumenckiego.
