Hi Jean and Barry - I'm really sorry for the experience you've had with us. As explained in my email to you, unfortunately our warehouse is having an issue with booking shipments to the Channel Islands with Royal Mail.

I appreciate this is disappointing and frustrating, but I'm afraid I've given you the best options I could at this time (paying additional postage costs, or a full refund). I am actively still looking into this, as I agree that we should be able to ship to you at our standard rates, and I don't fully understand why this is currently a service we're not able to book with Royal Mail. It came as a surprise to us too.

Apologies again for your experience here - I have tried to keep you updated with the situation as it evolved, but I appreciate that it's still not the experience you were hoping for when you placed your order.

Hi Jason - thanks for your review and sorry to hear our soup isn't to your taste. We find that most of our customers enjoy it, but we recognise it is a little unusual! This is mainly because it's made with fresh, raw broccoli (which helps to maximise it's health impact).

I appreciate the soup feels expensive if you think of it as just a soup, but that cost reflects decades of scientific study and research that have gone into creating our unique GRextra broccoli and exploring it's potential health effects. We instead encourage our customers to see it as a functional food that could boost your health in really meaningful ways for just £5-per-week. Through this lens, we're aiming to make it good value when compared with other functional foods or supplements.

Despite your dislike of the soup, I hope you feel you've had good customer service from us. Please do let us know if there's anything else we can do.

Dear Michelle - thanks for leaving a review, and we're sorry you don't like the taste of our soup. If you're looking for ways to tweak the texture or taste to your preference, may I recommend checking out our recipes page for our favourite ways of doing so: https://smarternaturally.com/recipes/

We find that while our soup is not to everyone's tastes initially, most of our customers can find a way to turn it into a meal they look forward to, whether that's by adding more/less water to alter the texture or adding other ingredients to alter the taste. We even have some customers who drink it as a cold smoothie rather than a hot soup!

Even though the soup hasn't initially been to your taste, I hope you feel you've had a good customer service experience with us here at SmarterNaturally. Do let me know if you have any feedback for us on that front.
