I attended Smitaa Nair’s 3-day workshop…

I attended Smitaa Nair’s 3-day workshop (₹200 entry) with genuine intent to learn. I have a decade of hands-on sales experience across high-velocity and consultative environments, and I’ve helped teams and individuals scale revenue through actual systems (qualification, discovery, pipeline management, negotiation, objection handling, and closing). I joined expecting higher standards on what “high-ticket selling” really means.

My honest takeaway: this workshop felt like an upsell engine, not a serious skill-building program.

The content-to-filler ratio was unacceptable
Across three days, the actionable learning was minimal and largely generic. Most of what was shared is already available for free on YouTube (often in far higher quality). A “bootcamp” should be dense, structured, and practice-driven. This was not. I've saved the entire transcripts end to end of the 3 day workshop and deeply analyzed it.

Oversimplified “math” used as certainty, without definitions. A key part of the pitch leaned on simplistic assumptions (conversion rates, call volumes, revenue targets) without defining denominators or funnel stages. In high-ticket selling, you must separate booked calls vs attended calls (show rate), qualified opportunities vs total calls (qualification rate), and close rate based on the actual stage. Presenting a single conversion number as a broad baseline without context is misleading. Real operators will notice this immediately.

Pressure tactics and empathy gap was evident. What surprised me most was the tone and pressure language toward the end. The messaging included variants of: if you’re not taking action immediately, what else are you going to do? That is classic pressure selling. It lacked empathy, and it ignored the reality that committing ₹1.8 lakh is a serious decision for most Indian buyers. Pressing further to even push for EMI was insane. High-ticket selling done correctly relies on trust, diagnosis, and alignment, not pushing vulnerability and FOMO.

High-ticket is not “assertive lines.” It is:

Deep qualification (fit, budget, authority, timeline, problem severity), quantified value and cost-of-inaction, ethical urgency (based on actual constraints, not manufactured fear), and clarity on outcomes, scope, and delivery.

That level of rigor was missing for 3 day work shop.

Pricing and value justification did not add up. The upsold program price (₹1.8 lakh) was repeatedly pushed, but I did not see a credible justification in terms of:

Unique methodology. Proof with clear boundaries (baseline, timeframe, lead source, conversion definitions), implementation support, or delivery depth.

If you demand premium pricing, the workshop should demonstrate premium competence. I did not see it.

Inflated “bonus value” claims felt like marketing theatre. The pitch leaned heavily on stacking bonuses with claimed values (₹3L, ₹5L, ₹7L etc.) and “super premium access” framing. Simply stating that your own sessions are worth lakhs does not make them worth lakhs. Value is established by outcomes, track record, and delivery quality not by self-quoted price tags. It came across as artificial anchoring rather than genuine value-building.

Lack of live demonstration and real call breakdown
If the workshop is truly about selling skill, a credible approach would include:

Real call recordings (with permission, anonymized), line-by-line breakdown of discovery and objection handling, roleplay with corrections, and a clear qualification framework that reduces “time-wasters.”

Instead, much of the pitch relied on motivational framing and script-style claims. That may excite beginners. It does not satisfy anyone with basic common sense.

What I would have respected (but did not see):

Clear definitions of metrics and funnel stages.

Transparency on what results are typical vs exceptional, and under what conditions.

Less coercion, More empathy.

More practice, less hype.

A pricing explanation tied to delivery and outcomes(Data).

Who this might still help:

If you are a complete beginner and you need a basic script structure to feel confident on calls, you may find some surface-level value. But do not confuse “script exposure” with high-ticket mastery.

My conclusion

This workshop did not meet the bar for “high-ticket selling.” It felt like a pressure-based marketing funnel with limited educational depth. I’m posting this not as hate, but as a warning for buyers to apply critical thinking before spending ₹1.8 lakh based on webinar momentum.

I hope the creator takes this constructively: build real curriculum depth, demonstrate real sales work, stop using coercive urgency, and respect the intelligence and financial reality of the audience.

Absolutely Horrible!!

Absolutely Horrible!!
What was she even thinking while designing the bootcamp? That she can just blabber nonsense and people are going to clap? Someone said that the entire bootcamp is pre-recorded. The comments are disabled. She is just yapping and giving no value. They constantly say stuff that they will be doing this and that but they dont actually do anything. Someone also said they pitch their lakh rupees consultancy services at the end. Can't be me because I abandoned their prerecorded nonsense. Absolute clown show!!!! Why are there so many positive reviews? Seems fake. Look at the writing, all written by chatgpt and scammy. Stay away from smitaa

Such waste of time

Such waste of time. Learnt the valuable lesson that you can't tell lies. Can't pose a recorded conversation as live. Can't keep blabbering without giving one paisa of value for first 45 minutes, after which one couldn't take anymore and left their 199/- bootcamp.

I havent seen anyone this honest and…

I havent seen anyone this honest and clear headed who is so authentic and aware who says, " I am not the wisest but i understand how this is done well"
What works beautifully with her and the team as a former international client of Smitaa is her relentless effort to work unless you get results.
I was very fortunate to be a part of her long term journey since i was from a corporate background and did not have a clue on how to run a business and this iron lady right here worked with me , in times where i gave up on my own self.
She helped me like a child would be helped in their journey on how to read, write and execute, if you have the passion and you have the drive and you are ready to work till you get the results with some hard facts to face about your own shortcomings and opportunities to make a life changing business then this is the woman to work with. No Non sense, result driven , focused and absolutely dedicated to her vision of helping entrepreneurs grow with her business, thats Smita Nair. I consider one actually needs to qualify to meet the requirements to have her as a mentor and once you there is no looking back.

Attending this 3-day bootcamp was a…

Attending this 3-day bootcamp was a disappointing experience. The event felt more like a cleverly disguised sales pitch rather than a genuine learning opportunity. Here’s a breakdown:

Day 1 (2.5 hours)

About 1.5 hours were spent on self-promotion, with the organizer projecting herself as a "strategy tycoon" and showcasing questionable reviews of her services.
Another 30 minutes went into belittling the audience, claiming no one understands business except for her.
The remaining time was used to aggressively pitch her own services.
Day 2 (2.5 hours)

The entire session was devoted to marketing her business further. She even asked participants to pay an additional ₹500+ to book appointments with her team.
Calling this a "bootcamp" is misleading. Such unprofessional tactics not only waste time and money but also tarnish the reputation of genuine mentors and leaders in the industry. Experiences like this make people skeptical about joining other legitimate bootcamps.

Proceed with caution if you're considering this program.
