I bought a helmet on sale on Dec 12th. Smith Optics got back to me on Dec 18th and informed that they had run out of stock even though the helmet was still available for purchase on their website (at a full price).

simply a scam, they kept my money, the product never arrived, I am investigating taking legal measures against the company, I write this so that the same thing does not happen to them, I ordered a Smith Squad XL replacement lens, they told me twice that they had different problems at customs and another that they did not find the address I trusted (I never had this problem with another company), in the company for the 3rd time and now they simply do not respond to my emails or the website, I am still waiting for a response, the order is placed by 11/24/2024 and I haven't even received an explanation email. The tracking code takes you to a page that no longer exists. Thieves!!

simplemente una estafa, se quedaron con mi dinero, el producto nunca llego, estoy investigando tomar las medidas legales contra la empresa, escribo esto para que no les suceda lo mismo, ordene un lente de repuesto smith squad xl, 2 veces me dijeron que tuvieron diferentes problemas en aduana y otro que no encontraron la dirección confié (nunca tuve este problema con otra empresa),en la empresa por 3era vez y ahora simplemente no responden mis correos ni la pagina web, sigo esperando respuesta el pedido lo realice el 24.11.2024 y ni siquiera he recibido un correo de explicación. el código de seguimiento lleva a una pagina que ya no existe además. Ladrones!!

Worthless #Warranty. I purchased my glasses and a couple years later. The pin came out on the hinge that connects the earpiece to the glasses. They would not warranty them only offered me a 30% off on another pair of glasses that didn’t have a warranty.

A. Eshaila of the warranty department is the worst customer service representative that I have dealt with of any company. They consistently ignored my comments and questions and simply replied with different variations of the same standard response.

I contacted customer service because the Smith name came off the frames using a lense cleaning cloth. This is a problem they are aware of and don’t tell you.
I followed the instructions to scratch up the lenses and trash them and then they moved the goal post and wanted more. I explained the glasses were gone and now I’m out my glasses . The return policy hinges on someone’s opinion of your photos. They blocked me on Instagram due to negative reviews.
They will sell you as a loyal customer so BUYER BEWARE HORRIBLE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have (had) a pair of Interlock wrap around sports sunglasses from several years back. Recently, small bubbles began to form on both lenses and the outside of the lens clearly shows a film coating lifting away from the lens. I contacted them and they tell me it's an old model and they don't cover "wear and tear". I don't consider delamination of the lenses to be wear and tear and I always kept the glasses in a case and used soft lens cleaning cloths. In other words, don't believe the lifetime warranty.

I purchased a set of Smith I/O Mag goggles last winter. I like the quick change of the lenses and the 2 lenses I use - one for low light and the other changes with lighting conditions - do their job. Their warranty seems to be good - at least initially.
The reason for the poor review, is that one of the lenses developed a leak - and may have been there all along - the second time I used it. I contacted customer service and was told they would give me a voucher for a replacement. The lens was not available at the time. It became available and once I sent them a picture of the lens with my destroying it, they sent me the voucher code. The problem is, while the code covers the lens, even though the site says free shipping, they charge for the shipping. Defective lens, but it costs to get it covered. They are inflexible on this.

Just bought some Guide's Choice polarized glass sun glasses from SMITH in July. I leave my glasses on my dashboard tray. Well, evidently these glasses can’t take the heat and a lens cracked. I bought them for fishing, never had the chance to use them. The SMITH-“lifetime warranty” program sucks. I was told by customer service they have to be kept in a case…. Hmmm maybe the case keeps them cooler.. total BS

Got tired of the corporate nonsense at Rayban and decided to check out Smith Optics. They are best prescription shaded I have ever had and their customer service was on point!

I've been a Smith customer since 2013. I generally love their sunglasses. However, their loyalty to customers and the customer service is severely lacking.
I was ready to purchase a 3rd pair of Smith glasses and had a question that needed to go to support. Support took 2 days to get back to me, in that time a promotion expired. When I asked if they could still honor the promotion as I was waiting on them, I was told no.
Over 10 years as a customer and a couple of pairs of glasses with a willingness for a third, met with nothing.
And now nothing is what I will give them.

HORRIBLE company and cheap product. Replaced the same pair for inferior workmanship 4 times since Nov of 2023. I've been most patient and would not give a refund. DO NOT BUY.

Waited 1.5 months for my order. It was delayed indefinitely on the day of delivery.

I bought a pair of interchangeable sun glasses for biking with a life-time warranty. The hand to fasten into the lenses fell out so they all are completely useless.
After 27 robotic, generic and none person e-mails for two months I searched for customers’ reviews OMG there is a 48% of customers outrageously frustrated.
Most complaints are broken parts, scratched lenses, no refunds when people return their crappy merchandise.
And, there is NO way to find a manager or a phone number with a real person behind it. Smith is nothing but crap.
I posted this message on FB asking ALL my friends to send it to their friends and I pasted on every, generic e-mail from SMITH customer service to me AND within ONE hr. I received a VOUCHER that I cashed right away. Don't stop till they honor your warranty.

Instead of working to resolve the problem with my order, customer service said I should just return it. And they'll charge me $10 for the return. Do not order from them.

I personally tested the smith scout helmet whilst landing on my head after crashing at 40mph on my snowboard. All I had was a bit of a headache.

I decided to splurge on some high-end ski goggles from Smith. In the past, I've dealt with constant fogging, which can really ruin the day on the mountain. Since I've started using their I/O Mag, I've NEVER dealt with fogging and would recommend them to anyone. They also came with two lens types that I can swap out based on the conditions. Worth every penny. Just be careful during après, and don't let them get scratched at the bar!

I bought the 4D MAG Goggles and love them! Having two lenses is a huge bonus as well when skiing in unpredictable weather and visibility. Cannot recommend more!

Bought the Smith vantage helmet, love the product, super comfy and breathable on warmer days. Have some Smith sunglasses too I got a few years back and they’ve also been great!

I love my I/O MAG goggles! With previous goggles I always had to take them off on cloudier days to better see depth, but the additional ChromaPop Storm Yellow Flash lens works great with these conditions. The quick swap system makes it incredibly easy to switch between lenses in just seconds. I never want to go back!

Top notch sport googles! Decided to switch up my gear a few years back and I tested out the Frontiers!

Since then I have never looked back, last year I upgraded to I/O Mag and it's quite simply the best google I've ever used.

Ideal for any environment and the anti fog is as reliable as the overall brand.
