les jouets que j'ai reçu ont été envoyés dans des sac plastiques au lieu de cartons, ils sont arrivés un peu endommagés, du coup je ne racheterai jamais chez cette enseigne
Eergisteren een Duplo-trein besteld en vandaag keurig afgeleverd. Compleet, zonder schade en meer dan 20 euro goedkoper dan bij de concurrenten. Blij mee!
smiths toys at the metro centre is the worst shop ever on Saturday 1/2/2025.i stood in the queue with 4 children for ever got severed the girl on the till for got to give me one of my items and then sent me to the back of the Queue a gain and then wen we got home she had charged me twice for one item .
Bought a child’s bike paid to have it put together breaks and Handlebars not tightened not happy 😡😡😡
I recently purchased a selection of toys from SmythsToys for my nephew. I was able to choose from a diverse range of toy collections. I am genuinely impressed with both the quality and pricing of their toy selection. Additionally, the customer service provided was exceptional.
I picked out what was advertised as a playstation gift card - and took it to the till. The server asked if I definitely wanted playstation rather than Xbox (odd a) and I explained I was purchasing a playstation gift card as a gift. Paid, and she gives me a receipt with a code on. Not a card which is what they were advertising. I explained that this was not what was advertised, and not what other retailers were selling I.e. if I picked up a playstation gift card in Sainsbury’s/ Tescos as I had often done when my teenage son is invited to a party, I get a gift card, not a gift receipt which is something entirely different. I asked for a refund so I could go to another retailer to purchase a gift CARD. Nope, no can do, according to smiths, because it’s a digital download - despite the fact they have a large display advertising gift cards. There is a big presentational difference between a nice gift card to give as a birthday present, and a slip of paper. Appreciate they both have the same monetary value - that’s not the point - I wanted a gift card, not a gift receipt. They refused to refund - despite their false advertising. We will take our business elsewhere in future.
I placed an order yesterday afternoon with standard delivery & received it this morning! Incredible service, I am very impressed & will definately be using again.
Also the toy I purchased was exactly as per the description & reasonably priced.
At a time where prices are going up at a shocking rate & getting something delivered is challenging I am really, really impressed with this company.
Good range of products but the returns policy is quite difficult. No one to call and website says no Collect+ in N.Ireland when there is.
So-on the 30.05.2022 i bought some headphones for my sone. I went in store-sheffield in retail park, and i asked for wireless headphones forXBOX X. I have paid £79. When i gave my spns present, and we tried to conect them, guess what-the head phones did not work-As they were for plat station! All good up till now! We went back in store, and asked for a refound or to be replaced with o e for XBOX X. The guy who served us was nice, and he has checked them, but he needed a second opinion, so ge asked for the store deputy manager-and i can say she is a star! Her name is Beth, and she came with a properly atitude! After the headphobes were checked by the guy-were all new, and perfect condition, she took them in office, and guess what-she found a scratch! Which couple of minutes before was not there. Also she has said she can not cuange them as they are opened! At that time i guess i lost everything! How to not open them? If i tried to conect them? I have explained that i have asked her team for xbox x headphones, and, o aspect them to work!
Now is comming the funny part! We have made a complain and the feedback received after this complain was as disapointed as you can imagine-
Having raised this with the store management team, they have advised that at the time of the sale, it has been confirmed that it was discussed which console this headset was for.
Following this, the cashier assisted with locating and the sale of the PlayStation headset.
When this was then returned, there were signs of use with this item and as a result of this, the store were unable to accept the return.
For unwanted returns, the item would need to be unopened, unused and in its original packaging and as it was outside of these conditions, the store would have followed policy here. Customer Services would not be in a position to overturn the decision of the Store Management team in this instance, I'm afraid.
Apologies for any disappointment which this may cause
After this of course i have contacted the company to go forward with the complain, as i am not ready to give up, just because they want to sell, but not being profesional and respinsible!
I find this shop team wery unprofesional and unresponible, playing with people money and destroying childrens happyness!
DANGEROUS. Not so long ago my beautiful baby boy sat me and down and we had a family discussion about how he thinks he deserves a toy as he helped me do my Waitrose shopping on the weekend so after I asked some people for their opinion they agreed so me and my Prince took off and made our way to smiths toys. I even put on my special boots to go their which I ordered from John Lewis and picked up from Waitrose. As we arrived we knew exactly where we wanted to go as my sticky toffee pudding son loves his barbies and loves playing with them so we went straight to the barbies. As we were picking out the girl barbie a women came over and asked me if I was i was picking it for a present for my daughter and identified a barbie as a “girls toy” and didn’t seem pleased it was for my boy so now my boy has anxiety about picking u out his toys. So as we were getting over this incident that had just happened these electronic toys came charging and stomping at me and my boy they were the monkey toys that move with batteries and I have never felt more scared or vulnerable in my life I thought that it was the end for me and my boy in that second. We both had to go and rock ourself in the corner of the shop to recover from that incident. They were coming for us like there was no tomorrow their hands were even moving as if they were trying to punch us we were being attacked and no one was doing anything about it. As we approached the workers to tell them everything we had to go through and they still wouldn’t give it too me for free or with a discount after everything I went through I am utterly ashamed I am lucky to be here today to be honest. And let’s just say they people that work and smiths need to sort out what they look like they don’t like presentable at all they look like they just rolled out of bed. Do not come here you will have to see people that look a right state and no one should see. And you could really die in that shop it really effected the mental health of me and my little baby boy and he had to have 10 days off school to get over this traumatic experience o hope smiths really know what they have done to peoples lives and I hope it helps them sleep at night knowing what they have done to us. I have reported this incident to the police and I hope they manage to do something about it and hopefully stop these toys that could kill you. WHAT IF THE JOKE WAS ON YOU.
I am a terrible aunt, I forgot my niece's birthday. Someone reminded me, but with less than a week and all the shops closed due to lockdown I didn't hold out much hope. In step SmithsToys. They claim to ship to Ireland in 1-3 days! AND THEY DID. My order arrived in just over 24 hours! I was able to drop it off at her house and no one is the wiser. Phew.
