Cabin is in good shape. Hot tub was just nasty! And pool table is falling apart and trash all over the outside of the cabin. Bed needs to be replaced I had to put it back together it kept falling apart. Short in lighting downstairs. And good luck getting ahold of anyone after 4pm

We had a great stay! Only problem we had was that the cabin was closer to other cabins then wanted but overall great place!

It was a last minute booking but totally worth it !!! Nice room very friendly staff and extremely easy booking process!!! Would definitely recommend this room to anybody !!!!

Amazing and very clean!

The cabin itself is beautiful. On the other hand there was a huge problem with the water. It was very cloudy and very smelly. I guess of sulfur. The faucets would spray out in a sputtering motion and the pressure was off. We let it run for Almost 30 minutes on 2 separate occasions, one before the plumber came and once after, and after it ran you could see the dirt in the color of the water (light brown) and by the dirt visible in the sink/tub. The bathroom water barely got warm. So showering/bathing was annoying. The shower with the jacuzzi tub would spray out so bad when the jets were on that it soaked the whole bathroom. Then the button got stuck to where it kept spraying and we had to use a knife to pry it back out to shut off the jets. The shower upstairs either sprayed in a sputter motion or barley let any water out. The kitchen sink was a toss up. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it sprayed and sputtered out. You could smell the rotten egg smell anytime the water was on. We had to buy drinking water. They were doing work on the cabin next to us. And in the kitchen there were exposed wires in an unfinished outlet. But other than that it was very pretty. Our family enjoyed the beauty of it. And the beds were soft. But the water was a huge issue so it gets 2 stars. And one lamp upstairs was missing a light bulb. It was beautiful but needs work.

Colonial Properties was extremely helpful and did everything they said they would do. I would definitely recommend them. The cabin we rented was nice but could have been better. It has very large windows that needed a good cleaning and there were two outside garbage cans strapped to the front porch next to the swing. We were on our honeymoon so the ambience could have been a little better. The location was very nice and quiet but there are other cabins close by. Overall we were happy. Thank you!

I went to rent a cabin and upon checkout this company added more than 50% of the list price in fees. $100 cleaning fee for having 2 dogs. Complete ripoff. If the place is considered pet friendly include pet cleaning fees in the list price. I will never use this pace again.

Myself and some friends rented a beary nice cabin it was really awesome everything worked and it was just like it was in the pictures it was really clean and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was really nice at the office and they got us checked in early. I will definitely be using colonial properties in the near future and I have also used them before now and was very satisfied then too.

I haven't stayed yet but the reservation process was very easy.

We made reservation in the Cabin call Comforts Me and when we arrive and went in the cabin was Filthy and cabin smell like mildew, Also check in time is at 4:00PM but you get charge for the whole day.Check out time is 11:00am. The office personal are very rude .STAY AWAY!!

Great experience with booking, first time I've ever booked a vacation house and they made it very smooth and super nice people...I couldn't have asked for a better quality of professionalism.

So far, making the reservations have been easy. We'll update the review after our stay to see if the actual accommodations, (Bearwatch Cabin), is as nice as the pictures posted online.

Clean, ready to live in while on vacation!

Very professional. The only thing I was upset about was no discounts for booking on line or free room for staying at least 6 days. This was a practice in the past. I am a repeat customer for many years.

there is way to much paper work and hoops to jump thru just to book a cabin now a days , was on the phone 5 times and 2 days to get paper work done to secure the cabin , it is more time then our actual stay time yet to come in the cabin , that's just nuts !!! also price is a little misleading , you have the prices listed for the cabin on the web site , but then when you go to book , they charge another $ 60 just for the reservation I think that's B.S also . and its really only a 1.5 day stay not 2 days , check in time is 4pm , well that first day is just about over , then you have to leave early in morning so you cant get to do anything that day or enjoy the cabin .

Stayed with them in 2015 and staying with them again this year for our 27th wedding anniversary.

I have been staying at the Colonial Properties for at least 8 years now.
They have always been polite and helpful with any questions or reservations that me and my family has made. This year I made my reservations on line. Everything was simple to do. Thank you Colonial
