BUYERS BEWARE. If I could award zero stars I would have done.
I ordered a shirt in September 2025 thinking it was plenty of time for it to arrive before my friend's 60th birthday in December 2025. How wrong I was.
Initially I received a note advising that the order was being sent, however, that it was a "strange system" and that things might not appear to be happening but then it would be "pretty rapid". Then nothing.
When I chased this up I was given various excuses as to why it hadn't been sent ranging from issues with the Thai Post Office "printing USD currency symbols on the labels instead of THB" and then some horse-5hit about "our staff member who deals with any issues with Thai Post is currently in hospital and will be discharged 20 January".
Getting fed up with the reactive excuses rather than pro-active action I have requested my money back. Funnily enough I haven't received it.
If by some miracle posting this will kick their backsides into gear to either send the shirt or refund me my money than I will look to adapt this review but some how I don't think that is going to happen either.

Received the Dundee Utd 1986 home VG shirt. Better than the original. What more can I say, buy it.

T shirt ordered in September for an October birthday. Despite many emails it's still not arrived 5 months later.
Requests for refunds ignored. I'm spun a ridiculous set of lies by automated emailssaying the Thai distributor is in hospital and all sorts of nonsense.
A farce of a company don't go near them.

Retro shirt finally arrived after a three month wait. Apparently one member of staff was off sick which caused this unacceptable delay. A poor excuse in my opinion.
Think twice about ordering unless you’re prepared for a ridiculous wait to receive your item. Communication was poor and no tracking info available despite being promised it would appear.
I certainly won’t be buying anything else from this second rate company again.

Delivery took a few weeks but the shirt quality is fantastic.

Appalling company. Very poor customer service. As other reviews have alluded, this company operates with pure disregard for customers. The model is based on lengthy waiting times and we get this but over the last year it's untenable as a business. Items which took 3 months to arrive previously probably won't arrive at all now. The customer service is now also non existent. They shouldn't be allowed operate as a business anymore.

Very similar experience to others. Ordered shirt 31st July 2025 and since then a host of excuses as to why not received (most around customs and the Thai postal service). Haven't refunded despite request to. It's basically a con.

Shambles

Been 8 months waiting for an order.
Everytime I chased they gave a fake tracking ID and Blamed Thai Mail for slow delivery. They have responded with this numerous times and kept saying to wait.

Quite literally £50 lost and Now no response for two months

DO NOT TRUST TO RECIEVE YOUR ORDER

Do not order from here. I ordered in June 2025 and it’s now February 2026 and still no order or refund. Every time I asked for a refund I am told the item is on its way; I ever got sent a tracking confirmation that said no parcel had been handed over.

Took a bit longer than expected to arrive but shirt was very good .

Tracker was no good. Delivery time was longer than I thought. Shirt is spot on.

This company is a scam, I ordered 2 West Ham retro football shirts, all you get is emails saying it's on its way to you, when they can be bothered, a tracking number that does not exist, terrible customer service, very unprofessional, don't get rip off by RM Retro.

I would advise anyone to read these reviews and not to order a thing from them! I as it seems many others are a victim of being scammed, the tracking numbers do not work and they give you 2 different tracking links, one doesn't work at all the Thailand post one won't load, the track 17 says the tracking number submitted can not be found as so many others have reported. I have tried 3 times now to contact SM Retro and they will not reply.
Avoid at all costs ! I have reported this to my bank as a scam site and worst case I've lost £41.00 and should of read the reviews first.

I have been waiting for 2 shirts since October. Had emails supposedly saying they are on the way. Postage tracking numbers do not work or even exist. Contacted twice for updates and advice. Silence.

In short, Avoid.

The shirt arrived on time, is beautiful and was well packaged. Great value too.

I would easily say this is the best retro shirt ever. Outstanding quality.

Do not use this company! It is 100% a scam company. After ordering an item in June 2025, I have still not received this order. After back and forth communication, which never came to any clear conclusion from the company, I decided to contact my bank. They looked into the company and confirmed it is a scam company. My bank then refunded me the money. Protect your money and do not use this company!!

I placed an order on the 19th of October 2025 for an England retro jersey and paid for it immediately. It was supposed to be a present for my son for Christmas 2025 as he likes England.
But till date there has been no reply , and it has strained my patience to the limit as there’s no reply to my emails and no update of when the jersey would be delivered. Till date it’s been almost 3 months since the order was made.
This company is a scam. They take your money but have no answer to your queries to your questions. It’s such a shame with a good website but a horrible attitude. I strongly urge people not to fall for their scams and buy elsewhere. Thankfully I only lost 39.99 gbp.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience by SMRETRO. I placed an order back in September, and after numerous attempts to reach out via email, I have received absolutely no response. It's infuriating not knowing when my order will arrive.

The complete lack of customer service is unacceptable. It feels like I’ve been completely ignored, and it’s clear this company has no regard for their customers.

I strongly caution anyone thinking about ordering from SMRETRO. My experience has been a nightmare, and I wish I had done more research before placing my order. Save yourself the hassle look elsewhere.

I can see from past reviews that the same excuses are given out in regards to a bogus tracking numbers given out.

I had asked 3 questions for it to be answered
1. Where is my order
2. When will I get my order
3. Why was there such a delay

But lo and behold I have still yet to receive the answers and still yet to receive a working tracking number.

The amount of emails I have sent and to receive 13 automated responses is extremely baffling.

Do not use buy from SMRETRO as it seems like a scam

I bought a shirt from SM Retro in April 2025. It didn't arrive and I didn't get the refund I'd asked for. They told me there were problems with everything else like the Thai postal system, staff sickness etc and that I should just wait - I would get my goods. Numerous other emails I sent were automtically acknowledged then ignored. I then sent a review like this on Trustpilot in October 2025 and magically they got in contact. Take down your review or we can't help you. Your goods will be sent. I took down my review, Well it's January 2026 now, still no goods and still lots of emails ignored even though I always get an automatic response saying they got my mail. £40 down the drain. I'll take this review down as soon as I either receive my order from April last year (9 months ago), or a refund. I don't really feel scammed - just ignored or forgotten. Hardly a reputable company to deal with.
