The 4th generation has now taken over the company following the words of Arie Sneeboer who founded the company in 1913: “I know how to improve”. Die Robustheit und Langlebigkeit sind sehr gut. Die Lieferung erfolgt schnell und sicher. Die Möglichkeit zur Personalisierung der Gartengeräte macht sie zusätzlich unverkennbar.

Spade weer als nieuw
Spade stuk, door mijn eigen domme fout. Mailtje met de klantenservice en binnen enkele dagen was de steel gerepareerd, met ook weer de originele klinknagels!
Deze gereedschappen zijn echt voor het leven. Zeer duurzaam en met passie gemaakt.

Staff are great and tools are brilliant.They make the work easy, stay sharp and last forever. Are amazingly tactile and have even generated spade/fork envy from friends

Thank you sneeboer for giving my engraved and very sentimental to me trowel a second life, my fault, went at a tree root thinking it was a spade and snapped the head off, thought it was now done for but no Sneeboer took it back and have made it as good as new!

All sneeboer weeding hand tools have an inherent fault. They end up twisting on the handle. I've emailed the owner of Sneeboer regarding this but he doesn't want to address the fault. He d rather send out replacements. Therefore they are not a quality tool. Over priced mass produced throw away tools, probably not what the original company set out to be. Unfortunately I purchased 3 weeding hand tools and they are all twisting on the handle. The digging tool are good quality. I give one star as a lack of consistency and quality through the tool range and a lack of action taken over addressing inherent faults.
Regarding Sneeboers response: what you recognise is irrelevant to the facts.
If a tool is made to last it doesn’t break, if it does break it should be fixable, if it is not fixable it is rubbish - a throw away tool. If you spend high end prices on a tool and it breaks, the tool is overpriced. Additionally being handmade has no relevance if the tool is flawed. If you have resolved the issue please tell me how and send me some replacements of the updated tool and I will remove this review if it is currently incorrect…which I doubt..thank you

Dear AG,
We are sorry that this is your experience. As everything is handmade and hand glued, it does happen that there are faults in this process. The best we can do at that moment is replace the tool under warranty. We actually have made changes to the design of the neck where we attach the tool to the wooden handle. So we do aim to reduce faults that we know of.
We also do not recognize that our tools are "over priced mass produced throw away tools".
