In this modern age we live in. The one absolutely huge drawback is there is absolutely no VIDEO chat. That in itself should be an absolutely huge red flag 🚩 Plenty of other dating sites have live video chats. Then you at least have a chance to actually seeing who you are talking to. Anything with what they deem as a form of contact details is blocked or censored. An innocent photo that could potentially include a phone number or an email address is blurred. If you think you are succeeding in writing numbers in an incorrect spelling or backwards that also gets censored. Even if you are clever the ultimate block is telling you that you have no credits left, when you actually have credits. To get one girl’s contact details will cost you $1245 and even then the girl can decline your request and all you will get back is the 500 credits to request her details. I'm fairly certain I was texting with an egotistical toxic male instead of a 22 year old lady. to start, the first red flag was the difference of their treatment or discrimination of the sexes and their Brothel like unending parade of pictures seemingly to fit my search. IE if you buy credits you are inundated with videos and letters offering everything but the circus tent. They told me it was a violation for anyone to send pornographic material but it was never enforced and I think it was actually encouraged. I asked them to cancel and tried to delete my virtually empty profile and to remove my contact info and neither request was honored or completed and my last chat with your costumer service was an extremely hostile human who seem to take pleasure tormenting and when it finally answered my text the human offered half of Sofiadates emails and that leaves me with my last attempt and my phone call. I was left on hold, never ever speaking to a single person for 1 hour and 3 minutes before resorting to trust pilot to get my MSG across to their management team.

Definitely a pay per letter scam.site. They will also try to obtain personal information. There is a questionnaire they demand if you ask for a ladies contact information, which is supposed to be for the safety of the lady. This basically includes all the o formation a scammer would need to obtain your entire identity. They will ask for a copy of your passport.
I wouldn’t do that as I prefer to keep my identity to myself. I wouldn’t do it.
So the lady I was chatting with proposed an idea a cute little letter scam where she sent one letter (which costs about $10 each) that had only one digit of her phone number per letter. After playing games because the number wouldn’t work, the next play was she sent a video which did get us off the site but only to a limited app called Telegram. She soon became “ill”and started asking for financial support. I refused until we had a live video chat on WhatsApp, but excuses of old phones, or phones getting broken…never did have a video chat.

Honestly, this website is a total scam.

Essentially, it is a money-making enterprise where a very few very busy people reply to your interest in what are probably fake photos of attractive and almost exclusively young 'contacts' and keep you chatting in order to get you to pay for credits. I have chatted to several different contacts and they all sound like the same person... they have the same very stilted questions and give the same vague and personality-less answers. As soon as you suggest an alternative form of communication they come up with excuses and if you want to use the official 'exchange contacts' option within the site, you are told you have to spend £100's 'chatting' online first!

If all you want to do is chat online to people then go for it but it can get horribly expensive! I'd suggest going down to the pub for an evening would be much cheaper - even if you buy your own - and everyone you chat to - drinks all night.

Complete and utter SCAM/ FRAUD/ SCAM ! . You should use negative Star system because I would give them - 20 on 1-5 scale. They can do it right on the spot and put money back on your account within 24 hours. Last advice - don’t try any other sites- they all are a same or even worse. I tried them all . I have spent 2 plus years on Sofiadate. The sight seems to be AI-driven. The girls/AI bots want to know all about you, but they will only share a little about them selves. I spoke to 20 or so women over the past 2 years. And since I found a way to get free credits I started to play this site like video game. What I would suggest if you do chose to use these dating sites is to make up multiple profiles. You will find out quickly that they are not sincere and lie. 100% Money Grab!

Lonely guys pay thousands to connect with me on Sofiadate dot com without me even knowing. Guys! Wake up! It's a scam farm. My face, my real photos and videos, including my age and name are being used to scam gentlemen on Sofia date. One of them had found my Instagram account and that's how I discovered that. Not only unauthorized use of the photos and videos from my Instagram account, but also they actively use AI to generate videos from my photos, generate new photos with my face, but what's more surprising is how they generated videos with sound, a video of ma pronouncing your name (you can see my face but the voice isn't mine) where they pronounce your name is also fake! The people working behind these accounts are just after money, there's no dating foreseen, no genuine curiosity about you, no connection. Guys wake up, I am writing this to prevent more gentlemen being scammed. Not sure how many other fake accounts there are but I have a feeling that's a big business.

Only 6 photos max, some of them are short videos, there's a possibility to send voice messages (also free of charge). Pure scam website I have ever encountered. I invested over $4000 in every girl seemed to be able to stay up 24 hours a day seven days a week to communicate to me her pure love and when the time came and I required their contact information. They disappeared never able to do a verification photo. Heavily covered in makeup in every picture that was supposedly a candid picture so the best advice I can give you is to run away and don’t ever use a site that has a semi format or seems to have the word date in it.

You can easily go through over $1000 in an hour without any ability to get the person’s contact information unless you’ve gone through an inordinate of chats or for 14 days with the same person.
