Sondors has falsely promised Rockstar e-bikes! 58 emails to CS agents, managers, and now silent to my inquiries. Purchased the bike on Aug 9th. Told it was delayed Sept, then October, then Nov manager calls, messages and said your bike will be there soon. Now for three going on four weeks silence. Anyone who posts positive things about Sondors is a paid writer. The CS stinks! I have filed a BBB complaint and will continue to report this company’s incompetent business model!

Great Company
Great Company, Great fun the folding E-Bike ! Added a mirror, bike lock, lights and I have over 600 miles on the 2 that I own.Great support when I have questions and I just purchased a third folding E bike. When I have friends/family over the bikes are easy to understand and sturdy enough for any biker. Tires provided are a great all round solution, get about 40 miles on a charge based on my weight !I use them almost every day, have fun !

I purchased a Sondors Smart Step in August for a friend of mine. They love the bike but it was an open box special and it came without a key. It’s 30 degrees here and snowing and he wanted to remove the battery to keep it in the house. I called Sondors Support and they were able to get me a key and mail it to me for my friend. More great customer service from the only Ebike company we will own and ride with PRIDE!! SONDORS IS THE BEST!!

2nd Bike order from Costco
Order the first bike from Costco in August 2022. After 100 miles had to return back to Costco because battery stop in tube broke. Just a piece of plastic. Order the 2nd bike on line. It would not power up when received. Contacted Sondors and they identified problem as defective controller plate. They sent a new one but took 1 week to get, which I thought was kind of poor response. Must be a common problem with controller plate. The bikes are big and beefy with a smooth stable ride. I was able to do 28 miles on flat trail doing 20 mph most of way before battery died. It would be nice if they used a larger watt motor in the Costco versions, because once you're down to 2 bars on battery it doesn't want to go up hill with out some effort on riders part. The frame is big and if your under 5'3" it may be to big for you. The controller, shifter and brakes work well.

Sondors stands behind their product
I bought a Sondors Madmods Cafe from Costco and experienced multiple issues with the bike. Sondors customer service and a technician really came through to resolve my issues. They stood behind their product and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and completely satisfied.
As for the product, it is as good as it looks. It performs well and has plenty of power. It is heavy at 116 lbs but is easier to pedal than expected. An object in motion tends to stay in motion and a bike with mass has momentum. I love the bike and can’t say enough about the benefits of an E-bike. You can pedal with no assist or not pedal at all. You can be assured the bike will help you make it back. I’m so happy with my purchase after Sondors made it right. I’ve pulled my daughter in a trailer and this bike does great. It really opens up more riding opportunities no matter how much energy I have! Love the looks of the bike and I’m eagerly awaiting accessories like racks to become available.
I purchased a step through Sondors
I purchased a step through Sondors. Upon arrival everything seemed to be in perfect working order. After riding the bike it starting losing power during my rides after about a block or so. It would only turn back on if I opened and folded the bike. I called Sondors and we worked through a bunch of different items on the bike. Ultimately it ended up being the battery on the bike. They sent out a new battery immediately. The process has been easy and smooth. The whole process did take some time to complete do to shipping and trying a few other things before the battery but overall very happy with the customer service! Thanks Sondors Tech team.

i called in regards to defective brakes…
i called in regards to defective brakes on both my brand new Mad Mods bikes.
i took the bikes into a reputable bike repair shop and i was told the breaks are defective and that it would cost close to $800 to replace them and that i should reach out to the manufacturer for replacements instead.
the Sondors customer service manager that called me was combative, rude and unhelpful, even when i told him that my kids rode the bikes once and almost crashed into traffic and fell on the asphalt directly because of the defective breaks he still told me there was nothing he could do, and pretty much told me that it was not his or Sondors problem.
i explained to him that this issue was exposing Sondors to major legal and/or criminal liability and his response was to just "not ride the bicycles" and "that i should figure out how to bleed the brakes".
only after i had to clearly and strongly demand to speak to a supervisor or the Sondors legal department did he reluctanly relent a little bit and agree to send me 1 pair of new brakes so i can have them replaced.
i have purchased 3 bicycles from Sondors, 1 Fold XS and 2 Mad Mods, and i currently have an order for 2 Metacycles that i have paid for in full.
i am unlikely to ever buy anything from Sondors again and i am probably going to cancel my Metacycle orders because of this terrible customer service experience.
management should retrain it's customer service staff, have a much better customer service protocol and get rid of non-helpful customer service members
