Return was HELL

Return was HELL. Purolator lost the package and it took 1 month for Sorel to figure it out and "investigate" properly. They told me I should do it myself, which I did until I got fed up. They finally reimbursed me but not the taxes and the 7$ fee. Never again. Worst customer service ever.

Attention à la politique de retour

La politique de retour: Sorel refuse de rembourser des bottes neuves sous prétexte que la boîte en carton est abîmée en raison du retour par la poste! Malgré une plainte, on refuse de me rembourser. Je n'achèterai plus jamais de cette entreprise.

Wish I could give zero stars but that’s not an option. Listen, Sorel is an extremely poorly run company.

I signed up to Sorel online and received 15% off my first order. From the Canadian site! I live in the USA. I tried again with my alternate email. Same result - a promotional email in French from Sorel’s Canadian website.

The discount coupon, needless to say, did not work on the US website. It did work on the Canadian site but they don’t accept international orders!

I reached out to chat with Sorel’s customer service and the AI help bot was atrocious, to say the very least. Finally an agent connected and made no introduction and carried on! He insisted he had introduced himself to me and when I sent him a screenshot clearly showing that he hadn’t, he claimed his message ‘failed’ to be delivered to me!

I then emailed customer service as instructed by this customer service representative. And the response was - “Your case is closed”!!

I got back on chat with another polite representative who finally said Sorel would honor the 15% discount as a one off if I ordered the boots now! They are not doing any favours and I don’t need any handouts from them or anyone. The tone as if they are being magnanimous! The pomposity, the total lack of regret, the lack of a simple apology……I could go on.

I set out to buy Sorel’s most expensive boot - the collaboration with Barbour but I don’t think I will now for the following reasons:

1. Why is there a cross connection with the Canadian website? This was a repeated problem, not a one off.
2. The customer service agent was not only rude but a liar.
3. Finally since Sorel directed me to their Canadian website, I see the same boots are a good 30% cheaper.
4. Their attitude towards customers is perhaps the worst I have come across in recent times (Xfinity excepted).

These boots are overpriced and the company seems to be run by some extremely muddled brains. And of course, poorly trained and ill mannered customer service representatives. My experience has been a total turnoff at all levels.

These guys reeled me in with a 15% discount on their pretty expensive boots and then I went through this!

I will NEVER buy from these guys!

Si je pouvais mettre zéro j’aurai mis 0 tellement ils sont nulle et d’une grande mauvaise foi! Non seulement ils livrent pas mon colis et en plus malgré toutes les mesures de sécurité établies avant la livraison comme m’appeler afin que je réceptionne le colis n’est pas respecter à la fin on se paie la tête du client en lui disant nous on livre une adresse mais on se fiche de qui si l’adresse comprend 70 logements? C’était déterminé depuis le début d’être livré à une personne physique pas juste une adresse et en plus aucune preuve comme photos ou autre afin de bien vérifier l’emplacement exact de la livraison…… du grand n’importe quoi et pire service client!
SOREL compagnie d’incompétents et de voleurs n’achetez rien en ligne vous allez regretter amèrement cette expérience achat et en plus on respecte pas les clients ni la loi consternant la protection des consommateurs!!!! À éviter à tout prix tellement ils sont pas compétents! Ils prennent votre argent et bonne chance pour avoir vos produits!!!!!!

Arnaque

Arnaque. Ils n’ont honte de rien.

J’ai commandé deux fois la même paire car je ne connaissais pas ma taille chez cette marque.
J’ai conservé la paire qui était à la bonne taille, mais le service après-vente refuse de me rembourser l’autre, sous prétexte qu’elle aurait été portée. Je ne comprends pas sur quoi ils se basent, d’autant plus que les étiquettes sont toujours en place et que la paire est dans le même état que lorsque je l’ai reçue.

Mon mari les a contactés, pensant qu’il s’agissait d’une confusion avec une autre commande, mais non : ils restent sur leur position et refusent d’écouter.

En bref, ce sont des voleurs !

Livraison exécraBle qui passe par DPD

Pour l’instant, je ne peux dire que la qualité soit mauvaise, je suis satisfaite de ce que j’ai acheté, sauf pour la livraison. Trois. Achats, trois problèmes de livraison sérieux, quatre re- livraisons à chaque fois. Un blocage à la maison de huit heures à 18h. À chaque fois systématiquement, ils envoient avec DPD et rien que pour ça, je n’achèterai plus chez eux.
Donc Ne serait-ce quepour la livraison, je ne recommande pas D’acheter chez Sorel.
Ils payent le prix de cet exécrable transporteur. Je leur en ai fait part, ils sont au courant, les cartes sont dans leurs mains

Commande passe en ligne. La livraison devait être faite en point relais mais le point relais avec qui travaille Sorel a refusé le coli !! Résultat après 7 jours on m’explique qu’il faut recommander ! Autant vous dire que pour un voyage ne compter par sur eux !

C'est vraiment un ZERO étoile!!!!

J'ai acheté des bottes en ligne du même modèleet grandeur que j'avais à la maison. Résultats à l'arrivée elles sont trop petites. Je décides donc de demander un retour en ligne. Assez facile de faire la demande sur le site. Ils offrent même l'option de choisir un bureau de poste et si nous ne sommes pas capable d'imprimer l'étiquette de retour, ce dernier s'en occupera.

Je remballe donc ma commande et me dirige vers le bureau de poste. Rendu là, la dame au comptoir me dit que je dois avoir un code Qr. Et j'en ai pas. J'appelle au "service clients" et me fait dire qu'ils ne peuvent rien faire et n'ont pas la possibilité de modifier la demande et m'envoyer un code. Je demande donc à parler à un superviseur, et à ma grande surprise, la demoiselle, après m'avoir fait patienter encore au bout de la ligne, me dit que le superviseur a besoin d'un délai de 24 heures!!!!!! Pour me répondre. 24 HEURES!

Je lui explique à nouveau que je me suis déplacée au bureau de poste et que j'aimerais régler le tout aujourd'hui et lui demande de me créditer les frais d'impression que j'aurais à payer suite à ce problème. La réponse est non catégorique. Ils ne peuvent rien faire.... j'ai donc été au service d'impression le plus proche et j'ai dû payer 3$ de plus pour effectuer mon retour.

Au lieu de "service clients", vous devriez nommer votre département "rions des clients"

J'ai acheté chez sorel pour soutenir une compagnie canadienne mais si cette dernière se fou complètement de ses clients, à quoi bon?????

Pour moi, cette compagnie est bande de ma maison et je vais en parler autour de moi à grande échelle!!!!

Poor Quality - Emelie ankle boots

I purchased the Emelie ankle boots in December 2023. Wore these a couple times a week through from December through maybe early March. (These were not worn much at all since they’re not very comfortable.) I pull them out of my closet a few weeks ago (Jan 2025) and notice the rubber on the heel is peeling off. I have Ugg boots that are over 10 years old and the rubber looks brand new. Sorel has a 1 year warranty so these were not covered, however, I called anyway and sent pictures because this shouldn’t have happened after just 13 months with very limited use. They still wouldn’t offer to get them repaired. Poor quality. I don’t recommend their boots.

Spain Trip

I purchase some boots for a winter trip to Spain on Sorel.com. I received the wrong item and they will only offer a “FREE” Shipping label like if they were doing me a favor, when they were the ones who sent the wrong order. They will not honor my purchase by re sending the boots i order but the only option was a “FREE” Shipping label and a refund. A refund that will take up to 30 days since I use Klarna as a method of payment. For which by the time the wrong shoes were delivered i had already paid 75% of the cost. So a refund was not the best option for me due to timing. Bottom line dont buy from them as they dont honor your purchase nor solve their mistakes and you end up getting frustrated. I am sure there are other brands out there better than Sorel.

Rush delivery is a scam

I paid 30 dollars for rush delivery which says the order will arrive in 1-2 days and their website says will ship within the day but it didn’t actually ship until 4 days later which means the item won’t arrive until after I need it. It’s not like it’s the busy season or anything. Their practices are just deceptive

Their customer service is lousy and they won’t let you cancel the order even if they don’t ship it until almost a week after the order is placed.

Return Process Appalling

Return Process Appalling. Received a pair of boots for Christmas, wore them once and the heal separated from the boot. Because the purchase was over 30 days the only option is to send back the boots (at my cost) and have the defective boots repaired. If they can't repair you get a gift card to buy more bad quality product. Spent over 2 hours getting the same run around from customer service. Will never order again!

We have previously purchased Sorel…

We have previously purchased Sorel womens walking boots and had no issues.

Purchased Mens Sorel boots, loved the look of them, went out for a walk and within half a mile they were cutting into my foot.

We walk around 10 - 12 miles across both countryside and road, these boots are not in anyway designed as walking books.

Returned the items, after calling and advisor stating they were not fit for purpose.

5 weeks later and still no refund, calling Sorel you are told to wait for email updates.

I purchased through PayPal so will be able to raise a refund through supplier failure.

I would not recommend this company, it's disgraceful that they are part of the Colombia group, a company that historically made fantastic outdoor wear.

If you are an avid walker, runner, into outdoor activities, this brand is not for you.

Sorel Boots Cracked - Defective Rubber

Have a pair of cracking Sorel Waterproof Boots. I hadn't used them in two years - they were fine when I took them out of the box and put them on. When I came back in from shoveling snow (about 20 minutes), I took them off and saw that they had cracked all over and some of the rubber fell even had fallen off (I can't find all of the pieces since they are buried in the snow outside). My wife has two pair (both are older since they both say they were made in Canada - mine says Vietnan and according to customer service at Sorel, when Columbia bought Sorel approx. 20 years ago, they stopped making their boots in Canada. My wife's boots are perfectly fine and both still look brand new. Sad that when a company buys another company, quality goes downhill. They are not covered by warranty and now I have to use flex seal or something to do my best to fix them. I'm starting a woodworking / furniture restoration channel on YouTube....I might have to start with seeing if I can repair my Sorel boots especially since I have seen that other people have had the same complaint. I wish I could add photos....they are pretty bad.
