A little peace of mind

​If you make a booking through Spacer, you are protected by our money back guarantee. For all our valued Spacer Renters, you will be reimbursed in full if:

  • The issue is raised within 24 hours of the booking confirmation, and
  • The space is unavailable at the date and time of your agreement, or
  • There is a significant error in address or description of space, or
  • Your vehicle cannot fit in the space

Please note:

  • Removalist fees, alternative parking or transport costs, towing charges and any fines are not included as part of the money back guarantee
  • Issues not included above, including change of mind, are not covered by our money back guarantee
  • Your issue will be confirmed with the Host

No car park available but they still charged me

I rented the car park from spacer only to find out the car park had already been rented. Space took money out of my account and although they’ve offered a refund I do not feel like I can offer them a good review based on the fact I pay for something I didn’t get.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. As soon as the issue was reported, we immediately processed a refund back to your credit card. The space owner had enrolled their listing in AutoConfirm and failed to switch it off. Since owners are responsible for updating their listings, this was unfortunately beyond our control.

That said, we are conducting internal reviews to help prevent similar issues in the future.

Debited for a product that was not even available

A phone call would be good as I’ve now sent 6 emails about a fake contract, debited money from our account for a garage that was never available. Even the guy renting the garage out is trying to get hold of you to find out why it’s even advertised on your platform as he advertised it on parkhound. I’ve now got a contract that there’s no service for, you can take my money each month and there’s no instructions as to how to cancel what wasn’t yours to cotnrextnout in the first place

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Upon review, the space owner had enrolled his listing in AutoConfirm and failed to switch it off. Since space owners are responsible for updating their listings, this was beyond our control. We are also conducting internal reviews to help prevent similar issues in the future.

We immediately canceled the booking after receiving notice from the space owner and attempted to process your refund. However, your bank flagged the nominated credit card as stolen. We have sent you a direct email with the details, and our Finance Team is conducting further investigation in line with the stolen card tagging.

We will continue to provide updates through the email address linked to your Spacer account.
