Thank you for your feedback.

To clarify, the issue raised relates to a class that was booked and accepted through an account registered in your name, but was not cancelled in advance. As outlined by our support team at the time, and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions agreed at sign-up, it is the account holder’s responsibility to manage bookings made through their account, including where the account is being used by a younger student.

As the class was accepted and the tutor reserved that time, the charge for the missed class was applied in line with our cancellation policy. This approach is standard for time-based services and ensures fairness to tutors whose availability has been committed.

We also note that the account was deleted shortly after this, which unfortunately removed the ability to continue communication or resolution directly with the tutor regarding the charge.

We are always available to help clarify how bookings, cancellations, and account holders' responsibilities work to avoid similar issues in future.

Success on the platform tends to grow over time as tutors build up recent activity and client hours, which increases visibility and selection rates. Small improvements to how bids are written, particularly tailoring your approach clearly to each student, can also make a noticeable difference.

While we don’t currently offer automatic recurring lessons in the traditional sense, tutors can schedule multiple sessions in advance (for example, the same weekly lessons over several weeks), which students can then accept individually. This approach helps ensure flexibility for both tutors and students, while also supporting our cancellation and payment processes.

That said, we completely understand the value of a more automated recurring option, and your feedback is incredibly helpful as we continue to improve the platform.
