Thank you for your email.

I am sorry to hear the £10 refund was not enough. After our conversation end of last week I thought you were happy to keep the chicken and allow me to refund a partial difference. I did offer to send a replacement box which was declined as you and your wife didn’t want the product wasted as long as a refund for the shortfall was issued. I sat this morning quickly after processing had finished and worked out the difference in price with the exact weight you emailed over. See below calculation.

2.119kg within correct weight bracket cost £19.59 x 1 = £19.59

1.873 in 2nd weight bracket cost £16.79 x 1 = £16.79

Total value was £107.28

Your invoice was £117.54

I refunded £10 because although the weights were wrong the difference was not that great and I was under the impression you were not looking for a large refund, I am sorry I misunderstood.

If you would like a full refund I can authorise this to be processed today. Let me know.

I would like to thank you for your custom and I am sorry the refund appeared a insult as that was the last thing I intended. I wish you well and hope you find another supplier for the future.
