Great place to see people still wearing masks years after covid.

I haven't been to sprouts in a while because of the way they treated people during COVID. (Yeah It's been a few years). I happen to be in the area while I was shopping and stopped by... Prices are high The store was empty and I have not seen somebody triple masked and wearing plexiglass on their face in years like I did with the checkout girl. Then I go up the road to Trader Joe's and it's packed.
Sprouts is doing something very wrong and honestly they deserve to go out of business which is inevitably in their future.
On the bright side, they didn't call the police on me for refusing to put on the muzzle (this time). Thanks Sprouts! And keep trusting that science! Lol

Placed a pickup from store order

Placed a pickup from store order. Received rotten items and replacements that i did not approve and were not even close to what I ordered. Was told that I had to keep these wrong and rotten items and go through the app to get refunded. Wouldn't even let me swap them out. Have to wait 5 to 10 business days to get my refund. Nice one. Will never shop there again

Terrible exp[eriences with their use of…

Terrible exp[eriences with their use of Instacart for delivery. They use delivery people who c ommunicate both written and verbal ONLY IN SPANISH. Not the person's failing but it is Instacart repeatedly screwing up delivery because they don't succeed in delivering because they can't read instructions or communicate with the purchaser. Sprouts needs to find another method and dump Instacart.

Prices seemed quite high for the…

Prices seemed quite high for the quality.
Their weekly ad is the worst of any supermarket, hard to find things and very tricky: buy one get second half off…Only trouble is “what does one cost?”
Store in Carlsbad was clean. Asked ware at find bulk spices, I was told “oh there over there. Took me a few more minutes to find them. Can’t see myself going back.

Deli Department (Longview,TX)

I would strongly advise customers to avoid Sprouts Farmers Market’s deli and “grab n go” section. It is not a safe or sanitary choice.

The deli production process is deeply concerning. Food regularly sits out for hours during production before it is ever moved to refrigeration. After sitting at unsafe temperatures, these items are then placed directly onto the shelves for customers to “grab n go” as if they were freshly and safely prepared.

Expiration dates are also misleading and improperly labeled. Products such as soups, sauces, ready-to-cook meals (including Kevin’s meals), pizzas, Panera Bread items, quiches, and egg bites are given dates that do not reflect how long they were already sitting out prior to refrigeration. Customers are not being given accurate information about freshness or food safety.

The grab n go shelves themselves are not cleaned or properly maintained. In fact, many of these shelves have not been thoroughly cleaned since the store opened. This alone should be alarming.

Items such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, full meals, parfaits, snack boxes, and even rotisserie chickens are all extremely questionable choices for your health. As someone who worked behind the scenes, I would never purchase or consume these products.

The deli department does not follow Sprouts’ own health and production regulations, despite what the company advertises. Customers are led to believe they’re buying fresh, healthy food, when in reality, basic food safety standards are ignored.

If you care about your health, skip the deli entirely.

Overcharge and double charge

I recently shopped in the store at Tatum and Cactus Rd. I self checked out. I was charged 5 (five) times for my apple purchase. I complained. A cashier fixed it and did not apologize.
Few days later I shopped with my sister and bought for over $200.00 of groceries. The day after, after reviewing the receipt, we found out 2 items had been doubled charged for a total of almost $80.00!!!. We went back to the store and asked to talk to a manager. An employee named Justin refused to comply and said "were you overcharged?". He seemed to be familiar with clients' complaints about overcharging. He directed us to a cashier who did not ask any question but said "what do you need to be refunded?"
Besides having outrageously high prices for many items, they apparently commonly overcharge.

I like the Sprouts in Cape Coral

I like the Sprouts in Cape Coral, Fl employees are very nice and helpful and it smells fantastic there, like fresh fruits and herbs. What I want to know is why you changed your Manager Jace and the assistant manager they were very nice and great in running this store. The new manager or assistant manager, i got to witness fighting with one of his employees out in the open and acting superior to her when she was actually only trying to make a point to him. Very wrong! Sprouts needs to keep what works and not change. I liked the other manager and other assistant manager better. I say bring them back!

They are a scam

will try to share the screenshot here to support what I am saying . Just got back from this store. Went there to get a Turkey for Thanksgiving after getting a text from this organization that I would get 5$ off once my meat purchases were above 25 $ .
Choose my Turkey and got to the register when the dral didn't ring up I called the supervisor. At first a very haughty blonde woman approached and called over Eric. I showed him the text and he goes the company never text any specials . He then said I couldn't get the 5$ off .
I returned the Turkey
Eric didn't even have the decency to take the Turkey back to the refrigerator . I had to do that myself as I would not like that the customer buying that Turkey to get a bad Turkey. So I didn't leave on the self checkout counter.
This phone number that I receive text messages from I sent a Y to authorize getting text from them in 2022.
I would say that they are a scam after this .
They even have fresh herbs on the supermarket floor going bad .

This happened at their Dania Beach Florida location.

Not what they seem

I go to the sprouts on route 27, woodbridge maybe. The reasons I went there are just not seen, no bulk items, tiny fruit and vegetable section. I find the worst offense is they have deals (buy one get one 50% off for example) but if you are not super vigilant you will not notice the deal expired, up to a week or more, they won't tell you.. They are hoping you don't notice and pay full price, very deceptive practice. I have a $10 off coming up but I will let go because I would never go back. Oh, and multi vitamins $55, what?

Will NOT shop Sprouts again!

Do NOT shop Sprouts!! It's not enough that you buy all their overpriced food, they have to charge you again for a bag to put it in to take it home. DONE! I told the cashier we don't need a bag we can carry it, but my autistic son started putting a couple of things in a bag before I could stop him, so she charged a bag fee anyway. Of course you did. Never again, Sprouts. Trader Joe's kindly gives me a bag, and their prices are better.

Five Star Review and here's why....

Been coming here since they opened two years ago, so I know this store very well.

While their private-label products are low-quality, specifically what they sell under their own name, Sprouts, other products such as dairy are the highest quality I've found anywhere, including Whole Foods. I am giving them a 5-star rating because their strength lies with their employees and the way their managers train them. Their sub-managers and managers run a tight ship, to say the least. When a product doesn't move, they discount it heavily. They are doing a huge turnover and cannot get goods back on the shelves fast enough. Their employees care very much about relationships with their customers. They are the friendliest crews I've seen in any supermarket chain, and give the best advice and recommendations in the business. I am writing this about the location in Delray Beach, FL, only, and have not experienced service in other locations, yet, to comment. Corporate should take a good, hard look at this location to see how a store should be run. There is a HUGE amount of work and moving parts involved in keeping a place with this kind of traffic spotless and well-stocked, but they do it extremely well.

Assistance

When you go to the meat department, no bell or anything to get the butcher to see you. Have to get someone else from next department to let them know you are there. The butchers are good once you get their attention. Same where you buy sliced hem, etc. Have to go between counter to let them know you are there. Every week this happens.

Overpriced and over hyped.

Overpriced for the same thing you can get anywhere. The people are friendly and when I asked people why they shop there, they told me because the people are great. Publix has great staff and more selection for less money. I think Sprouts is for people who like small spaces for shopping and do not mind paying more.

Proof of id required

The internet does not seem to be clear about this. There's a reference on Google that as of Sept this year businesses have to request id on the purchase of alcohol. Then, immediately below there are references that say anyone over 21 or especially 31 is not required to show id. So... I'm 57 and unless you are blind or have no criteria whatsoever its pretty flipping obvious that I am a long way away from the age of 21. This did not stop Miss jobsworth at the checkout insisting that i show her my id with address or divulge my dob upon buying one bottle of white wine and one can of beer. Please. Just Please. This has not happened to me in Texas at the supermarket down the road. Use your brain. Now I'm unlikely to go back to a place where I think employees consider they have the right to wave it around on their customers. I do not appreciate having complete strangers glance at me and take note of my dob and address for no good reason and I won't be coming back. Congratulations on losing a customer, have a nice night. Buh bye!

I have discussed this problem with the managers so many times…

I have discussed this problem with managers at the sprout stores over and over. The quality of produce is so bad, I have taken watermelons, peaches and other groceries back and asking them to bring us organic and healthy food. I have got produce that seats on the counter or refrigerator and decays from inside but outside looks perfect. I believe they are sprayed with Apeel and once you eat them the stomach get so bloated and painful. These contaminated produce should be at least marked and shared with us. I am not interested to waste my money and buy pure poison. These items are suppose to be organic. Organic means nothing anymore since USDA is so compromised. We are all aware that USDA and FDA are calculated and bought by Monsanto, pharmaceutical and petroleum companies so but Sprout as a distributor of food should have some conscious rule in this exchange. I highly recommend purchase from sprouts competitors who are local small businesses and farmers market to avoid this unjust act from these big corporations. I am hoping this time sprouts hear us. Maybe other people get involved and we can collectively make a difference in how we are being mistreated.
