Kirkcaldy Scotland Store: I ordered a black stainless steel tumbler before Christmas. I was advised it would take about 10 days. 10 days passed, no call from shop so went in to be advised that the tumbler I had ordered would be in on Christmas Eve and that I would receive a call to say it had arrived. Fast forward to 6 January 2024, still no call so went in again to be told that it was put out on shelf and sold. To top it all, place was understaffed and very busy and they did not want to deal with me. Their attitude stank to other customers waiting. It’s not the customers fault you’re busy!!!

Have been in Bangor store at Bloomfields which used to be are favourite store and months ago I had realised that they had let dogs in I let it pass until today wee were sitting at a table and the dog farted and the smell was just disgusting I don’t have anything about dogs but there is a time and a place there is people that goes in every day in the afternoon with the dog. Early closing Saturday.
Arrived Bardon Mill branch 16.30 on a Saturday to discover tables and chairs stacked to close. Saturday closing time 19.30. No explanation from staff member just gesticulated they were closed through the window. Nothing on the website to indicate early closing.

I bought a flat white from Taplow, Bucks store priced at £3.20. I was then charged an extra 5p for the cup to put it in!!! How the hell else are you supposed to drink it! Absolutely ridiculous
dirty place and a grumpy attitude
I went in nearly 1,5 hours ago. The barista I met was grumpy and failed to make my drink correctly. There is no rush at all, very few people here. ALL the tables are filthy, dirty and theres rubbish and empty coffee cups everywhere. While the baristas are stood chatting together. They havent cleaned once in those 1,5 hour. I hope starbucks in the future employ people that care about hygiene, because these two baristas frankly doesnt care at all.

Went into Starbucks within Sainsbury's Bridgwater with my mother in law. Was served by a very rude American, I was making conversation and asked him where he was from. He gave me the dirtiest look and after a long pause replied America, I inquired where as I used to live in America and he said Florida then inquired where my accent was from in a very rude way, I wasn't aware I had an accent but it was obviously English so I replied from here. All together I found the whole encounter very uncomfortable which was a shame as the Gingerbread latte was lovely. Please sort out your staffing Starbucks.

the one thing that put me off using starbucks is their obsession with pushing card payments and refusing cash-paying customers who are essentially offering real physical money. Such a refusal to accept cash would put me off and make me use a more cash-friendly humane establishment

I've ordered from Starbucks this morning in which this store have cancelled every single time I've ordered with no reason provided, however, this morning I didn't have much of a choice as no other coffee shops/cafes were open for my location. They accepted the order and assigned a driver, in which I am just as shocked, but the driver has stolen my goods. I contacted Customer Service and they made me out to be a liar. Apparently, they've passed it to management who never contacted me. I will be going to the police for theft. I do NOT make complaints or leave bad reviews as I work Customer Service, but I will not be made out to be a liar like I'm some fraudulent user. It's the cost of living crisis, you're a billionaire company, but less than £15.00 GBP scares you instead of keeping loyal customers?

Starbucks, Arena Coventry - Avoid
Went for an evening coffee with a friend only to be ushered into the smallest part of the store as they were closing and needed to clean. I understand that but they weren't closing for another two hours! They were also only serving in to-go cups as they didn't want to use the dishwasher with only two hours to go until closing.
Overall shockingly poor service and attitude from the staff at the branch at The CBS Arena in Coventry. They just couldn't be bothered to assist in any way.
They had at least six staff working that shift and none of them were at all helpful or even polite!

From on store to another the customer service varies and Weymouth are people who clearly don't want to be in the job and just don't care.There's one lad in there that isn't miserable.The rest like there's nothing there!
However total comparison I go to Devon once a month and pop into honiton branch on the way and it's a complete different experience.The girls are pleasant and can't do enough for you.Conversation,cheer you up,just by being happy and themselves.So the three stars is overall but it's 5 stars for HONITON and 1 for WEYMOUTH cheer up weymouth branch or get another job you enjoy.Also learn to make Frappes better not like water.

I'm in starbucks Hove and sadly the customer service is severely delinquent.
Young Evi the server couldnt manage a smile or a good afternoon, just kept asking "anything else" as we were choosing our items.
The young lad behind him was on his phone scrolling.
After 24 years in Hospitality I can certainly say from experience this isn't good. A smile and an hello can go a very long way.
Definitely, Hospitality training is required.
Pricey but that's the current financial climate.
