Such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Mark kept me up to date with my crate and sent pictures of the final product. I was able to customise the way the door opened too which was brilliant. Lovely guy and so pleased with the final product! Highly recommended.

First Class service from start to finish. The design process was spot on to determine how the dog crate would look with regard to bars or solid sides etc. Mark sent pictures before delivery to make sure I was happy with the crate. Mark even advised on varnish and paint. I would 100% recommend and purchase from Starskys Hutches again.

Fab service and comms. First box went AWOL at the courier collection point. Within a couple of days Mark had made another and sent it with no quibble. We ordered a medium crate for our little boy, Ludo, and i have to say, Mark was fantastic from the very first message. He was friendly, polite and knowledgeable (with a dash of humour thrown in for good measure). Everything was very clear including timelines, delivery and cost. We received our crate within the time given and was extremely easy to assemble. We love it and so does Ludo - he slept like a log last night! We havent painted it yet, but it is really good quality and exactly what we wanted. Thank you Mark.

I have this crate for around 9 months now and I can say that it really is the best thing I have bought for my dog; she absolutely loves it. The crate is solid, roomy, and looks great. At night she runs in to it and can be found there from around 8pm.
Although the wood is lovely I did put a light stain on it and gave it a rub with some furniture wax just to seal it.
I would highly recommend this crate to anyone with animals. I have mine in the hallway but it would not look out of place in the living room.
I also have to say another huge thank you to Mark for delivering this to Glasgow. Just outstanding!

I can’t thank Mark enough for such an incredible service. We had been watching a whelping box for some time on Etsy which sadly all sold before we needed one. After contacting Mark and explaining the size I needed, he got back to me straight away explaining a full detailed spec to make sure I was happy and a link to a video of the exact style he was making for me. He kept me up to date with communication. I paid for the item on Thursday and the item arrived today (Wednesday). Honestly cannot recommend Starskys Hutches enough 😊

Ordered two indoor dog kennels, was sent lots of information regarding Mark and his business before I ordered and had a chat on the phone!
Communication was good throughout and had two lovely kennels delivered to my door.

My friend showed me his indoor Kennel he got for his dog and l asked him where did he buy it from as the Kennel looked so well made what what a brilliant idea to.
So l looked into Marks website and wow l loved how he made all these different Kennels.
So I called Mark and had a long chat, Marked asked me what style l was looking at and what size, gave Mark the details and he checked the size with me three times just to make sure he had the size l wanted the Kennel built.
Great communication all the way through and even sent me photos and videos during the build.
Mark also asked me if l would like it put together at the property or would we put the Kennel together as it comes flat packed, l said l would like Mark to put the Kennel together for me.
Delivery date was on point as per Marks message.
When Mark arrived he put the Kennel together so easily didn't take him no time, also l have got a Marble effect flooring inside the Kennel floor which is such a nice touch, so well made and the sliding door is so smooth, if Mark made wardrobes l would ask him to build me one as the doors would slide so smooth, unfortunately Mark makes indoor Kennels.
Solid build so well made l couldn't be any happier with it, My dog loves the Kennel and so does my cat, they both went straight inside once it was build and in place.
If you want a indoor dog Kennel.
Mark is the person you would want to build it for you.
Even gives you advise on what oait to use on the Kennel.

Brilliant crate made for my dog. Looks really nice in the wood finish and I am sure will look even nicer when I paint it. My dog loves it and the smooth surface gives me some extra space at home for the printer and other bits. A great purchase and if we need another for our new puppy in the spring time I'm sure we will be repeat customers.

I wanted a bespoke sized dog crate to fit in a space in my lounge. I contacted Mark and just asked the question. Nothing was too much trouble and he quickly gave me a very (very) reasonable price, managed expectations about timescales and delivery. He actually delivered in person ahead of time and the finished product was better than I had imagined. Really well built and left unfinished so I could customise as I wanted. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.
