I purchased a Xiaomi Redmi 15C 8GB/256GB 5G in December 2025. I do not play games, I do not run heavy apps — my expectations were as basic as it gets. And yet, this device failed at the most fundamental level.
From the start, the phone had persistent Wi-Fi and 5G signal issues, and it lagged every single time I switched between apps. Opening the camera felt like waking up a computer from the 90s — slow to launch, slow to focus, slow to capture a photo. This is not a performance issue caused by heavy usage. This is a defective product.
I brought it in for service in March. Stephanis sent it to their representative, Info Quest. It took 30 days to get it back — which is a direct violation of Cyprus Consumer Law (Law 154(I)/2021), which legally obliges sellers to complete a repair within 25 days. At that point alone, I was already entitled to a replacement or a full refund. I was given neither.
I picked it up in April. Within days — not weeks — the exact same problems returned. Under Cyprus law, when the same fault reappears after a repair, the consumer is again legally entitled to a replacement or full refund. I went back to Stephanis. Their response? "It's Info Quest's policy, it's out of our hands." So the seller's answer to a second failed repair and a second legal violation is to point fingers at a third party?
I made a completely reasonable request: no refund needed — just let me exchange the device for another one and pay the price difference. They refused.
I ended up buying a new phone from a competitor. Needless to say, it is not a Xiaomi, and it is not from Stephanis.
If you are considering purchasing from Stephanis: know your rights under Cyprus Law 154(I)/2021. Sellers are legally required to repair within 25 days and to offer replacement or refund when a repair fails. Stephanis violated both. They know the law. They simply chose to ignore it and hoped the customer would give up.
I didn't. And neither should you.

Big product variety and ok prices (could be better), decent service
A good electronics store, wide product variety, and reasonable local prices (but still not as competitive as other international marketplaces). Service is reliable but slow

Worst experience from the worst shop in Cyprus, no garantie what so ever, lousy customer service, it doesn’t deserve even one star, never again, I just returned a faulty vacuum cleaner to be recycled by them loosing €239/- that I paid beginning of February.
The above mentioned vacuum cleaner worked well for 2 months only February and March 2026.

Horrible shop with terrible customer support. They used incorrect photos online and failed to provide an accurate product description. Their prices are higher than other stores.
I ordered online and paid for delivery, but still had to go to the post office to pick it up. When I realized it was the wrong product and contacted them, they asked me to visit the store to return it and refused to refund the delivery fee.
I recommend going to Jumbo instead — they have better products and much better customer service.

Very bad experience with after sales
Very bad experience with after sales. I don't recommend these stores. Bought a tv from them and got broken in 4 months. When i return it they send it to the technical department to judge if it was malfunction or i broke it. After 2 days i got message that they will fix it and i was informed it will take up to 3 weeks. I contacted them and requested to be replaced. They informed me that it cant be replaced and only be fixed which is unacceptable for an everyday item to be held for up to 3 weeks. When i got informed after 15 days that is fixed i went to the store and requested to speak with the store manager to express my disappointment with the way they handled the case and what i got was a guy telling me the store manager will come later tell me your complain and i will pass it. It was obvious that he was only "listening" to me in order for me to take the tv and go. Never again to this store and strongly recommend to anyone else do the same. I should read the reviews before going to them.
Πολύ κακή εμπειρία με την εξυπηρέτηση μετά την πώληση. Δεν συστήνω αυτά τα καταστήματα. Αγόρασα μια τηλεόραση από αυτούς και χάλασε σε 4 μήνες. Όταν την επέστρεψα, την έστειλαν στο τεχνικό τμήμα για να κρίνουν αν ήταν δυσλειτουργία ή αν την έσπασα εγώ. Μετά από 2 ημέρες έλαβα μήνυμα ότι θα την επισκευάσουν και με ενημέρωσαν ότι θα χρειαστούν έως και 3 εβδομάδες. Επικοινώνησα μαζί τους και ζήτησα να αντικατασταθεί. Με ενημέρωσαν ότι δεν μπορεί να αντικατασταθεί και μόνο να επισκευαστεί, κάτι που είναι απαράδεκτο για ένα καθημερινό αντικείμενο να κρατείται για έως και 3 εβδομάδες. Όταν ενημερώθηκα μετά από 15 ημέρες ότι έχει επισκευαστεί, πήγα στο κατάστημα και ζήτησα να μιλήσω με τον διευθυντή του καταστήματος για να εκφράσω την απογοήτευσή μου για τον τρόπο που χειρίστηκαν την υπόθεση και αυτό που έλαβα ήταν ένας τύπος που μου είπε ότι ο διευθυντής του καταστήματος θα έρθει αργότερα, πες μου το παράπονό σου και θα το μεταφέρω .Ήταν προφανές ότι απλώς με "άκουγε" για να πάρω την τηλεόραση και να φύγω. Ποτέ ξανά σε αυτό το κατάστημα και το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε οποιονδήποτε άλλον να κάνει το ίδιο. Θα έπρεπε να διαβάσω τις κριτικές πριν πάω σε αυτούς

Unfortunately 0 stars isn’t an option, I bought a Nintendo switch from this store recently for my son only to open it and realize the screen is broken, when I contacted them, they refused to do anything about it, maybe they should explain to my son why his Christmas present is damaged, then they could see the disappointment on his face, avoid at all costs, do not buy from Stephanis!!!

Very disappointing and stressful experience – no accountability or customer care
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Stephanie Electronics just two days before Christmas. I went in specifically to buy a laptop as a gift and clearly explained the exact specifications I needed, including a calibrated screen. Instead of honestly telling me they didn’t have what I asked for, they gave me the wrong computer to buy a different laptop that did NOT meet my requirements.
Trusting the sales advice, I purchased it. After realizing it was the wrong product, I returned it the very next day without using it at all. Despite this, they unnecessarily made the situation difficult by claiming they had to send the laptop to Lenovo to confirm it was unused, which caused delays and stress during an already busy and emotional holiday period.
Lenovo confirmed the laptop was not used, yet instead of taking responsibility for misadvising me and selling me the wrong computer, the store still refused to issue a refund. I was effectively forced into buying something I never wanted, simply because they didn’t have the product I originally requested.
What made this worse was the lack of communication, endless follow-ups, and complete refusal to show accountability, even though this mistake was clearly caused by their sales advice. This happened during a very difficult personal time for me, and the way it was handled showed no empathy, professionalism, or customer care.
I strongly warn others: be very careful and get everything in writing before purchasing, because once they take your money, they do not stand behind their advice or take responsibility for their mistakes. This experience was exhausting, disappointing, and completely unacceptable.

Displeased with the service after and the quality
I bought a brand new laptop with the total coming to 1.8k.
Fast forward 5 months later the laptop needed an update and after that wouldn't turn back on because of no battery (how? Its only 5 months old)
Took it in as its under warranty and they told me the maximum would be 15 business days, so i bit the bullet.
26 business days later and still no update. Every week I call them and either the support is telling me im trying to connect to the other department but they arent available and that they will call me back shortly (which 8 out of 10 times they dont call back) or they say that the tech people just ordered some new parts and to expect it back next week and they keep pushing back 1 week at a time with the same excuse.
When I told them i have had enough and i want to speak to a manager to leave a formal complaint they said you have to leave a complaint with a governmental body which I am not aware of how to go about.
So here I am 26 business days later still waiting for my brand new laptop which was an expensive asus.

Went yesterday to their Nicosia store and specifically asked for noice cancelling earbuds. The sales person recommended the JBL wavebuds 2. I tried them the same day but the noice remained EXACTLY the same whether the noice cancelling was on or off. I went today (one day later) back to ask what am I doing wrong. THEIR ANSWER WAS: don’t expect the noice to be cancelled completely. I repeated that there is no change whatsoever. I still received the same answer. I wasn’t even offered to leave them for their technicians to check them out. They have the excuse ready after the fact and after you gave them your money. Never again, I don’t trust them anymore so never shopping again from them

I bought a PS5 controller in July that they sold me it faulty, then I had to buy another one until they ''inspected'' the controller that was initially sold to me. Never got back to me, and never got a refund. Fast forward two months later I had to buy another controller, they sold me ANOTHER faulty controller with massive stick drift. Never ever again. Avoid at all costs.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Their after-sales customer service is nothing but a rip-off! Paid €€399 for an electric scooter just over 2 years ago (6 weeks out of warranty). It stopped working and we took it into Paphos, they wanted €20 to send to Nicosia (ACS would have done it for €5). They then wanted €21.78 for a diagnostic test).
They came back with an outrageous €285 bill for repairs (this was a lightly used scooter, mainly used by a 40k person). We refused, and then they demanded another €20 to return it to us in Paphos. They are currently advertising the same scooter for €349 with a 2 year warranty, How on earth can they justify a total of almost €350 to repair a scooter that is 2 years and 6 weeks old?
