Excellent customer service. Quick to reply and helpful. I ordered an item that I needed a specific size for, price was reasonable and easy to order. Delivery didn't take too long, called the day before to confirm and then the same on the day, to let me know they were on the way. Friendly delivery. Packaged extremely well. My console unit looks absolutely amazing, quality is great, true to the colour from the samples I ordered prior to ordering, which we like it even more now! Plus sizing is perfect. And even the kids (between ages 10-15) complimented it and said it looks homely! Will definitely be ordering more from here. Thank you.

I have bought 5 pieces of furniture…
I have bought 5 pieces of furniture from Still and Bloom and the most recent piece -Coast V Back Console Table in the sand finish, has been my most favourite piece yet. It really is beautiful.
The reason for the 4 stars rather than the five, is that I live in a main Scottish city and was quite shocked to receive a message for the last two purchases to say I had to pay the postage, despite the website advertising free postage for mainland Britain. The exceptions are not immediately obvious, and seem unfair.

Thank you also for giving us some feedback on your experience when it came to the delivery fee at the time of your order. We are so sorry if the fact that deliveries to DD postcodes was missed when you placed both of your orders as we do try and explain on each of our listing and on our website as well, ( https://www.stillandbloom.co.uk/pages/delivery ) , that there are areas which incur a delivery charge from our couriers and DD postcodes are one of them. We also reiterate this at the checkout, and we also add that we will contact you if your delivery address in in one of those areas so we are really sorry if this was missed.
We do absorb part of the cost of all the deliveries to those areas mentioned on each of our listings and on the website but as a small family business, we sadly can’t absorb it all.
Once again, we are truly sorry if this was missed at the time of completing both of your orders but thank you so much for your great review of our handmade furniture! We are so happy you love each of the items we made for your home!

A little disappointed
Let me preface this review by saying I totally appreciated S&B use reclaimed wood and the fact the wood is not perfect is part of the charm. However, my Andersson table did arrive damaged and there were a couple of scuffs out the top of the table which were a totally different colour to the rest of the table. I emailed S&B immediately who acknowledged the table was not supposed to be that way and stated they would send some wax in the post to wax the table and help the scuff blend with the rest of the table. They also offered £50 due to the inconvenience. I requested £100 (on the basis I felt I shouldn’t be waxing a table I paid good money for) and they agreed. Later on, my partner came home and noticed a reasonably large chip out of one of the legs which was highlighted by the fact it was a different colour to the rest of the table. I emailed S&B again to ensure the wax would blend this in. Their response was disappointing. They confirmed the wax would blend this in but offered no apology or acknowledgment that there was another issue with the table and a second area I would need to wax which is further inconvenience. The wax has arrived but I have not attempted this yet as my partner works away a lot and I am alone with a young baby (so I don’t actually get the time) and although the wax came with instructions, do not feel comfortable or skilled enough to do this alone! So although I love the table (and the dining chairs are stunning) I am a little disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I’m so sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience. I have personally reviewed the correspondence and, although I can see that we tried to offer a practical solution, I’m very sorry that you weren’t given a more sincere apology or clearly offered the option of a replacement. This was never our intention, and a replacement should absolutely have been presented as the first option when your table arrived with damage.
Where we believe an excellent repair outcome is possible, we may also offer a simple at-home solution as a matter of convenience, avoiding the disruption of returning and replacing a large item. In those circumstances, we will also always look to compensate the customer fairly for their time and inconvenience. However, this should only ever be offered as an option, not something you feel expected to undertake.
An assumption was made that you were happy to repair the affected areas with the wax, and we’re very sorry if that wasn’t the case. We also should have responded with much greater care when you contacted us about the additional mark.
As the owner of Still & Bloom, I’d like to personally apologise for your experience on this occasion. We’re a small family business and genuinely care about every piece of furniture we make and every customer’s experience, so I’m particularly disappointed that our communication left you feeling this way.
I will reach out to you personally to discuss the options and ensure the matter is fully resolved. Thank you for your kind words about the table and chairs, despite the disappointment you’ve experienced.
