What an amazing show. I went with my adult children and we all loved the show. The staging and effects were fantastic. I was totally engrossed in the story for the whole 2.5 hours. The emotions were conveyed brilliantly, I literally jumped out of my seat a number of times. Great performance by all. I will be recommending this to friends and family, you don’t need to have seen Stranger Things to enjoy this show.

An absolutely spectacular performance. The set and special effects were outstanding and totally unexpected. Take note of the disclaimer on the shows website when it comes to content, particularly if you have kids (I don’t). I recommend this show to ALL fans of stranger things. I cannot rate it highly enough.

This was simply the worst show we have ever been to in London. We are big Stranger Things fans and was looking forward to seeing it but disappointed is an understatement. Firstly the seats are so uncomfortable, we think they must have bought them 2nd hand off of TFL and to then have to sit through the drivel of a script that can only be described as a slightly scary pantomime was excruciating. The Special effects were a positive but 2.5 hours of actors constantly shouting at each other just gave us headaches . A complete waste of 3 hours and a disgrace to the Stranger Things franchise . The popcorn was ok though .

Avoid row A as the view is rubbish also the seats are uncomfortable!

This production was phenominal! I'm not a Stranger Things fan but I didnt need to be. The stage effects were magnificent. I took my 8 year old grandaughter for her birthday as she is a massive fan and it completely blew her away. Despite a technical hitch about 45 minutes in I cannot fault this show and highly recommend it. Everything about it was hugely entertaining. A big shout out to the actor who played Henry Creel, what an incredibly outstanding performance!! The overall production was hugely entertaining (even to a non-fan) and my granddaughter talked about it for days! Theatre at it's finest :)

I highly recommend Stranger Things for the outstanding stage effects. My grandaughter is a huge fan and absolutely loved it and didn't stop talking about it for days!!

The show itself was great. The undisclosed restricted seating in row c seats 1&2 was unacceptable. Poor customer journey speaking to staff at the time but even more so was response from management afterwards who initially denied the seats were restricted but later admitted the difference in spacing between adjacent rows existed but they believe was not substantial. Approx leg room 18cm between edge of our seat and back of row in front meant even my 12 year old child’s knees were in the back of someone’s head. Really poor customer service from management who deflected all points raised by us especially re seats not being advertised as having extremely restricted leg room.

The cast were amazing and they resembled the tv cast I loved Bob thought he was brilliant.
There was a technical hitch and the show was stopped until the fixed it. But that just built more suspense

Boring, overpriced and overrated. Really basic, simple script with annoying characters who keep shouting over each other. Slow and dull plot line which fails to engage.

Also the seats are incredibly uncomfortable for such as expensive ticket price.

Don't waste your time and money on this much hyped failure. I wished I hadn't.

Superb staging and visual effects, engaging story told using original and innovative devices, excellent cast performances - couldn't fault any of them, totally brilliant - and the stage direction and choreography was awesome! For fans of the show there were lots of inside nods to the series, and it was great to learn the high-school backstory of some of the main adult characters like Joyce, Hopper and Bob.
The Phoenix is a beautiful theatre, I loved the size and scale of it, it felt intimate with the performance and our view was excellent. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The facilities were great - managed to avoid a queue for the ladies loo! (Matinee weekday performance). Also loved the immersive touches like the hand drier ‘out of order sign’ was in Stranger Things branding and said that the 'Hawkins electrical engineer' had been informed!

We were really excited for this one, unfortunately we found it quite underwhelming.. off sync staff & special effects, messy storyline. Rushed and why was everyone screaming and talking over each other for the whole of their performance? I wouldn't recommend, waste of money

It was so boring. There is a lot of filler, feels like you are waiting a long time for the spectacle scenes which are impressive but the acting in between was bad. We stayed after the interval hoping for a better second half but regretted that choice. The acting was so bad we thought we had an under study cast but that wasn’t the case.

The story is exceptional but the special effects are absolutely like nothing I’ve ever seen before on stage. Incredible!

Great show, Great Cast, special effects were awesome, sat in the middle of the dress circle and it was a great view.

I hadn't seen the tv series but my daughter had, so helped me with the characters and background plot for the first 30 minutes.
The scene changes, artist skills and special effects amazed me, making up for my lack of knowledge and production length (a bit long).
All in all, a great night that I throughly recommend.

The play was brilliant however our seats were disappointing. We paid extra for seemingly better seats than the upper circle however we found ourselves under the low roof which restricted our view for key parts of the play. The tickets did not indicate restricted views at all. We felt conned for what we paid and meant that we couldn’t immerse ourselves into the show.
