My follow-up review from Aug 30,2026 1-star review.
Upon leaving my initial review I was contacted by Corey from Street Smart to begin the corrective actions regarding my warranty issue. In addition, after a phone call from me directly to the company, I was also contacted by Sarah from warranty department. Sarah ordered new parts, not used defective parts, which were sent to repair facility over night, overpriced. Corey was diligent in following up with my issue by emailing me several times. The parts were installed and I currently have the truck back in my possession and it is operating as it should. Street Smart did take care of their justified amount of the expense for this warranty issue by refunding my credit card used for the original purchase. This would of been a 5-star had new parts been shipped form the get go.

I found Streetsmart through a google search couple years ago and ordered my first transmission. The process went so smooth and the girls on the phone were so kind and helpful. I have now since purchased 3 different transmissions from them and have had all the same results. The process is simple as well as the core returns. I highly recommend Streetsmart if you are looking for a quality reman for your vehicle.

First transmission lasted a few weeks ,then a code came up.the warranty person told the mechanic that they were going to send another transmission
Another transmission comes in,wrong transmission. Another transmission is sent and it lasts two days and had a few codes.after that I couldn't afford another install ,the warranty pays 50hour,the mechanic charges 140hour.so I'm asking for a full refund for the original but i need a vehicle,so I have the last transmission rebuilt and it costs 6500.they sent me the original cost of 2900.then talking about labor for the other two but nothing yet.They put some back onto my card but I still haven't been able to verify it.So,so far they have cost me over 8000.

Easy to order, fast delivery and core pickup! Would have been a 5 star transaction if you had returned my $1500 deposit. Per your representative, you received my core on 09/01/26. Even though there was a holiday during this period, I think 14 days is excessive and hope this doesn't require legal action.

Ordered the transmission and came in quickly, the shop installed with all new lines and radiator and transmission cooler, working great, and shipping back was as easy as pie....thank you

Fast shipping everything seems to be going ok this time. Would be nice if they flashed the trans at the factory save yourself $195.00

Fair pricing and even will do price matching. Product arrived quickly and in great condition. All items needed for the install were provided that they had listed. Install was easy and transmission with torque converter have been running smoothly.

I was having trans problems with my 2006 Mustang GT, thought it was the torque converter. After talking with several trans shops, the least expensive way to go was to get a remanufactured trans so I started shopping. Street Smart had the best price by far (lower than the installer could get it for) and an easy core return process. That was 4 months ago, and it's only been driven 30 miles since then, so I'm looking forward to getting it on the road again.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Street Smart Transmission. Their customer service was very responsive, customer support was excellent and very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My husband and I both used their services. They also provide a couple years warranty on their transmissions as well as a guarantee, which is a plus.
