I ordered gym flooring from The Strength Shop and, unfortunately, it didn't quite fit the space I had for my home gym. Sadly, I had to return it.
The flooring itself is genuinely some of the best quality gym flooring I've come across — real top-end stuff. But what really impressed me was the customer service. We ran into some issues with FedEx around returning the product (weight-related complications), but The Strength Shoppe were patient, supportive, and stuck with me throughout the whole process. True to their word, they provided a full refund without any hassle.
I'd order from this company again without hesitation — not just for the quality of their products, but for the outstanding customer service.

So i got my lifting belt from them and after 1 training session leather on the belt broke near logo stitches after contacting support they offered partial refund (10% of belts price) and said that this doesnt cover their refund policy but taking into consideration that the belt was brand new and broke after just one use i think that i should have beed able to at least get new product but like i said its only cosmetic and doesnt affect how belt works and so far it works amazing thats why i rate it 3 stars

Faulty adjustable kettlebell (but Strength Shop sent a replacement)
Edit: About 45 minutes after leaving a one-star review here, Strength Shop EU got in touch with me and sent a replacement no questions asked.
For that, I am grateful and am amending my original review. The new kettlebell is great so far, and I have no issues. I feel the Strength Shop EU should have been a bit more attentive and taken me seriously from the start (my original complaint was in October 2025). I would rather not have had to leave a negative Trust Pilot review to get attention. However, the matter is settled.
For anyone in my situation, I recommend first emailing SS. If no answer after a week or so, leave a negative review. They'll be in touch.
Also would like to mention that I also emailed Strength Shop US and UK – both responded to me within minutes and said they would help me get in touch with the EU arm of the company. They were a great help and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

I purchased an adjustable kettlebell (order 333502) almost a year ago for around €300. From early on the screw and center post were constantly misaligning, which is a fundamental design or manufacturing issue. I contacted Strength Shop EU in October last year about the same problem and received no meaningful resolution, leaving me to sort it out myself with tools. (they suggested I use Loctite, at the time)
Recently the screw became cross-threaded during normal use and seized completely. With the product non-functional and customer service unresponsive, I had no choice but to take it to a metal shop to have it removed. The screw and center pin are now beyond use.
A week has gone by and SS has not responsed to my email complaint. I have now just sent a formal complaint citing my EU two-year consumer guarantee and have yet to receive a response. For a €300 piece of equipment this is completely unacceptable. I am now escalating to the ACM and the EU ODR platform.
The product quality is clearly not there, and the customer service has made a bad situation significantly worse.

I want to start by saying that the quality of the equipment itself is genuinely good. The materials are solid, durable, and suitable for serious training environments. Based purely on product quality, I would recommend Strength Shop EU.
However, my experience with customer service has been mixed — strong in the beginning, but disappointing later on.
During the ordering process, communication was excellent. Alessandra responded quickly, almost 24/7, and everything felt professional and supportive. Before placing my order, I specifically asked whether everything was complete and correct. I was assured that everything was in order.
Because I was still finalizing the location for my studio, I stored the equipment for about a year. When I finally unpacked everything after securing my studio space, I discovered that one kettlebell was missing, the barbell dumbbell rack was bent, and a rope attachment was not included — despite having paid for everything a year earlier.
When I contacted them about this:
• The bent dumbbell rack was immediately replaced, and for that I am thankful. That was handled quickly and properly.
• The rope attachment was eventually sent as well, although this was also addressed one year later.
• However, the missing kettlebell was never refunded, replaced, or compensated with a discount.
This is where my disappointment began.
I understand that a year had passed. But from a business perspective, when a customer has spent several thousands of euros with you, there should be some willingness to meet halfway. Even a partial discount or store credit would have shown goodwill and long-term thinking.
Recently, I even proposed buying additional bumper plates and asked whether the value of the missing kettlebell could be compensated within that new order. Instead of working toward a solution, the response felt rigid and transactional. I was told they are only reachable during business hours (after previously responding almost around the clock), and there was no real effort to resolve the situation constructively.
I fully understand that businesses need to protect margins. But as an entrepreneur myself, I believe long-term brand value is built on relationships, not on protecting every single euro of profit. Sometimes you make it right — even if it costs you something — because a returning customer is worth more than a single transaction.
I was also planning to order additional barbells and weight plates, but even after spending thousands, there was no flexibility on shipping costs or goodwill gestures. That mindset is disappointing.
To summarize:
• Product quality: very good.
• Initial service during ordering: excellent.
• After-sales service when it came to resolving issues involving money: disappointing and rigid.
For me, the question becomes: Is the focus on building a strong brand with loyal returning customers, or is it strictly about protecting short-term profit?
I would still say the equipment quality is strong. But future customers should be aware that once the sale is completed, the level of flexibility and customer care may change — especially when financial responsibility is involved.
That is my honest experience.

Constatazioni.
Pur essendo un po' che non faccio ordini ho deciso di fare una nuova recensione.
Tempo fa ho avuto un "disguido" in merito alla Swiss Bar, la nuova versione, per la precisione. Uno dei punti principali del malcontento erano i triangolini ai lati, che rendevano praticamente impossibile appoggiare questo bilanciere su dei normali appoggi (j-hooks), in un qualunque rack con misure standard; cosa diversa per i j-hooks più larghi (su cui si possono appoggiare anche i bilancieri da 50 - 60 mm), venduti da loro, ma compatibili solo con i loro rack.
Giorni fa, per puro caso, mi sono accorto che la modifica è stata fatta, e ho pensato che le critiche costruttive molto spesso hanno l'effetto sperato. Oggi, prima di scrivere questa recensione, ho visto che un altro utente ha sollevato la stessa questione nella recensione (non ricordo se riguardo la Swiss Bar o la Football Bar).
Altra cosa positiva, che fa salire ulteriormente il mio apprezzamento per questa azienda, sono i nuovi Rack "componibili", che si adattano a ogni esigenza, essendo disponibili in tre altezze e con molteplici variabili. Avrei voluto regalarmi uno di questi rack per il mio futuro trasloco ma, viste le mie condizioni di salute, questo non sarà possibile; peccato, se lo avessero messo in commercio due o tre anni fa lo avrei acquistato subito, senza pensarci minimamente.
Come detto precedentemente, peccato che non abbiano in vendita prodotti da braccio di ferro, ormai questo sport è abbastanza diffuso e conosciuto, per cui mi pare "strana" questa cosa.

Ware auf eigene kosten zurückgesendet - keine Rückzahlung erhalten!
Ich habe den beworbenen Widerruf von gekauften Hantelscheiben in Anspruch genommen und diese auf eigene Kosten an das Retourenlager in Berlin zurück gesendet. Seitdem versuche ich meine Rückerstattung zu erhalten und werde immer wieder vom Support per Email vertröstet. Einen telefonischen Kontakt gibt es gar nicht.
Die Ware ist (unbenutzt und verpackt) laut Sendungsverfolgung schon vor über einer Woche dort eingegangen und übergeben worden und der Händler veranlasst weiterhin keine Rückzahlung.

Kundensupport hat auf die Anfrage reagiert und nun die Retoure bearbeitet und Auszahlung veranlasst. Kontakt lief reibungslos - lediglich ein Stern Abzug wegen der langen Wartezeit - sonst gut!

Leider bin ich überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Ich wurde vom Strength Shop und dessen Kundenservice bei einer Rückgabe sehr enttäuscht und habe mein gesamtes Equipment entsorgt. Nie wieder.
Nachtrag:
Der zurückgesendete Artikel weist laut Strength Shop einen weißen Streifen auf, der, nachdem ich das Foto gesehen hatte, leicht abwischbar wäre. Leider zeigt sich Strength Shop nicht kooperativ, sondern behält das Geld ein. Ich frage mich, was nun mit dem Artikel passiert: Wird er gereinigt und dann verkauft?

Mixed Experience – Product and Service Need Improvement
I recently purchased 7mm Neoprene Knee Sleeves from Strength Shop, carefully following their sizing guide. Unfortunately, the product did not fit despite adhering to the provided instructions, which was disappointing.
While the company eventually processed a refund, including the product cost and original shipping fees, the process was far from smooth. I had to open a PayPal dispute and repeatedly refer to consumer protection laws to get the outcome I was entitled to. The return process was cumbersome, and I was not initially offered a prepaid return label, which added unnecessary frustration.
On the positive side, their products seem well-made, and my past purchases, like the Black Lever Belt, were satisfactory. However, this recent experience has left me questioning their approach to customer service and adherence to consumer rights.
I hope Strength Shop improves its return policy to align more clearly with consumer laws and simplifies its resolution process. With better service, this could have been a 5-star review.

Als ich mein Lifting Belt zurück geschickt habe bekam ich die Nachricht das 20% des Warenwerts nicht erstattet wird weil die Original Verpackung fehlte…
Das waren in meinem Fall über 30 Euro die sie mit abgezogen haben weil ich die Plastik verpackung des Gürtels nicht dabei war…
Plus kommt dazu das ich den Versand für die Rücksendung schon bezahlt habe und trotzdem nochmal abgezogen wird von der Rücksendung
Das ist abzocke !!!!!

Amazing Customer Service
Reached out to them as i bought a lifting belt and buckle (lifetime warranty) in 2019. Buckle recently broke after 5 years and has been replaced under warranty no questions asked and incredibly quickly as well. Awesome customer service! Will definitely continue purchasing my equipment from here and recommend to friends.
