Lazy, useless with communication, stolen money without returning it. 5 months now, complete mickey mouse outfit. Took my time during my mums cancer, this is the reason i don't live in the UK anymore uselss companies and people.

Was very sceptical due to the bad reviews but I think majority are just personal attacks on the owners or competition as I have had an excellent experience - maybe company has changed hands? Customer service has been excellent, thorough communication and order was fulfilled in sufficient time and im over the moon with my card. I love the sound it makes when you “accidentally” drop it on the floor

The company looks to be a scam.

Before even getting into my experience, it's clear that the Trust Pilot reviews they have are mostly, if not all, fake. Most accounts have only 1 review in their history, and then one of the reviewers (Hannah) has 2 reviews, both of which are for companies owned by the same people! (*Removed on request of the scamming company as they reported it to Trust Pilot* both own Swipe Metal, which is part of VentureK and *Removed on request of the scamming company* which if you look up their info via the UK gove website for their info at their reviews, is just as much a scam as Swipe Metal)

I placed my order online on the 11th of September. Sent my card the next day with 1st Class Signed for shipping, and it was received by them on 13th September.

5 Weeks later and not a whisper from them. They never acknowledged receipt of my Bank Card and the website has no way for you to look up the status of your order.

I attempted to contact them several times through the methods they provide you on the site and had no luck.

The location where they have you ship the cards is a closed-down pub which does not give me any hope that this company is legitimate by any means.

Furthermore, the people who own this company, according to gov.uk own multiple companies, all of which are registered to one of 2 addresses, and they both have a history of dissolved companies in the past, which just lowers my expectations even further of this company being legitimate.

To be honest at first I did leave a bad review but had a phone call today he explained everything and reassured me card will be hear this week top man!💯

The product is great quality and I am really impressed with the product.

Communication was good once I contacted them, but it could be vastly improved. I was not contacted to say they had received my card or given any updates on the order before I contacted them. Jim was really helpful and helped revive the order. Turn around time does need to improve to avoid not having a card for a while.

I would still definitely recommend the metal cards as they feel like a premium product.

Purchased a custom card from these guys on the 13th September. Their custom design tool on their site was pretty buggy, but I managed to get the job done and fired off my order. Shortly after I got a text from one of their team asking for me to send an email outlining exactly what I wanted done and to provide the original files for my design.

Awesome start really. Communication was looking good and I was thinking the other 1* review was overblown. Shortly sent my card off to them and it should have arrived with them no later than the 18th.

Here we are now on the 29th with no card in hand. I've tried contacting them multiple times over the past week asking for an update on my order but just like Matt, I've been met with nothing but silence.

Now I'm going to have to cancel my card and see if someone else can offer what they provide, which is really disappointing as I believe Swipe Metal are the only ones offering contactless cards here in the UK.

Honestly I'd be vary weary with dealing with this company if I were you. Don't end up like me and Matt and just get ignored while they sit there with your bank card, refusing to reply to your texts or emails.

UPDATE:

A couple hours after posting this review I was contacted my the company to reassure my order had been completed this morning and will be ready tomorrow.

I'm updating my review to reflect this, and will update again once the card is physically with me and I can confirm all is good.

Brilliant service, process was very smooth and easy, card came out perfect. Will definitely recommend and buy again !

Amazing product, great response time to questions too. Ordered the product and was back within 4 days from me posting. Would definitely recommend!

AVOID. Scam. Sent my card to address in order confirmation email. It's a derelict pub. When I discovered this, I contacted swipe metal to clarify the address. I didn't receive a response. I waited 3 days and reached out to them on their instagram account, again, no answer. I tried to message on their Tiktok account and they do not receive messages from anybody that they don't follow. I emailed again expressing my concerns and stated I would have to cancel my debit card unless I hear from them. Their website and reviews on Trustpilot state cards are returned within 3 days. I haven't had a response to my email in over a week. I have now cancelled my card and reported the transaction as fraudulent. Keep your money, it's not worth the risk.

You contacted me 2 hours after my review on Trustpilot went live, despite reaching out on various social media channels and I sent emails to each email address I could locate on your website and order confirmation.

Whilst I appreciate the unique customised nature of the product, your website (and reviews of your product) states that orders are processed within 2-3 working days. All I wanted was confirmation that my card had been received and was in safe hands, following the image I had received from Royal Mail of where my card was delivered.

You state that my order had been worked on, yet your website claims orders are confirmed when received. I hadn't received anything. In your text message to me, you claim contactless cards take 2-3 weeks to produce due to the complex nature. That isn't expressed on the website. If it was, I would've been prepared to wait longer providing confirmation was given to me that my card was in safe hands.

After cancelling my card, you did refund me in full after making contact with me after I posted the above review. I also note, you have posted to your social media channels since my review above. You also flagged my review and stated your legal team were "looking into it" despite the fact that I can evidence everything.

I believed in the product which is why I placed an order, but the radio silence and poor customer service I received led me to leave this review. Please don't bother trying to phone me again either, I have blocked your number.

5* all round wow! Was sceptical initially but process was smooth and received my card back within same week. Used out on the Bank Holiday weekend, very impressed!

Very impressed with them. Sent card ,with some hesitation, on a Monday and was back on Wednesday. Great designs, and great customer service. Very happy bunny.

Ordered my card online, followed their process and had my metal bank card super quick! The process was easy and the team answered any questions I had with ease. The card it’s self is so high quality and looks fantastic!

Now I have my card, I always get compliments from friends and questions from cashiers. I love it and would certainly purchase again

Brilliant product! Looks amazing and is always a talking point when I use it out. Designs are really high quality and the service was quick. Swipe Metals customer service was very useful and they helped me through the whole process.

Ordered my card online, posted mine off and received it back three days later! Received cool video of my design being made and the card is STUNNING. Can't wait to start using next time I am out with people.
