Absolutely Amazing experience.
Flew with Andy today at Barton in Wacky Wabbit T6 Harvard.
Was excited and little nervous initially of unknown with victory roll, barrel rolls and g force and loops. Andy made me feel relaxed and wow definitely an experience to have. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute and to fly this superb machine myself. This memory will stay with me forever. Definitely recommend if you can book a flight asap 👌 👍 😎 hoping to be back one day 👍

Had a flight from Barton today, Andy was superb, we did some aerobatics and the Harvard is so responsive, Andy even let me have a go! A brilliant experience and cannot wait to do it again!

AMAZING DAY!
A tremendous awe-inspiring 20 mins!
My partner and I took flight in the Wacky Wabbit yesterday. Although nerve racking in parts, especially when you take control of the aircraft 😵💫, our trip was so exhilarating just being able to imagine how pilots used to fly in war times. Unbelievable to think of their bravery and selflessness.
Thanks to Pete, Donny & the cameraman for making our experience so memorable! So glad our family got to witness it with us too!

Had the privilege of flying the T6…
Had the privilege of flying the T6 Harvard Wacky Wabbit early August. Excellent communication on the booking and lead up to the flight. Ground crew on arrival were very welcoming. We flew the Dam Busters run, quite emotional to observe first hand what they had to do to achieve their final operation. Dan, my pilot was very generous with is knowledge and in giving me hands on time. Flying the Harvard is a must for all aviation enthusiasts. Great experience.

The Dambusters run is a special one. Flying that route at low level gives you a real sense of what 617 Squadron faced, and it's something that stays with most of our passengers long after they've landed.

I got to fly the plane, loop the loop, role, pretend we were being chased by Messerschmitt 109s, then buzzed the tower and wing waved my family! SIMPLY PERFECT !
The kids started saving up years ago for a Spitfire experience for my 60th but sadly that was like chasing shadows so they got me the T6 Aerobatics Experience and it was more than could be hoped for. All the groundcrew and my pilot were exceptionally friendly, enthusiatic and very knowledgable.
The flight experience itself was AMAZING from start to finish. We did all the aerobatic manouvres that I could have wished for which put the challenging crossowind landings on LBAs RW32 into perspective.
The preflight breifing was invaluable and after the areobatics I was delighted to have a decent amount of time at the controls. It was a day I will not forget and whatever experience you choose, don't go home without the inflight recording. So thank you kids and thank you to all those at T6 Harvard especially Pete, P1.
Oh, if you think you may be to old for an experience the chap before me was ( I think) a 92 year old veteran who did the Dam Busters experince; from the smile on his face you'd think he'd won the lottery. We're not on this planet for particulalry long so go for it, you won't be disappointed! 5 stars all the way.

Turned upside down
What a fantastic day out and an unforgettable experience. A must for any aviation enthusiast. Such a friendly and informative group of people. I did the Battle of Britain experience which included having a go at the controls and aerobatics. Better even than I expected. Conington is a lovely historic airfield and a great place to fly from. Worth at least 6 stars!!!

Wow what an experience!
Wow what an experience!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we was made to feel very welcome. Pete my pilot was great, very informative prior, during and after my flight. Thanks also to Dan & Donny for their assistance & informing me about the flight. I still can’t believe I actually took control of the T6 Harvard “Wacky Wabbit” and experienced the roll & loop - the 1 hour flight just seemed to go so fast, could of stayed up in the air a lot longer I was enjoying it so much.
Thanks again everyone for making my day so special, would definitely love to do it all again and highly recommend this flight.

Dan and Donny were amazing and the…
Dan and Donny were amazing and the experiance was so special. The team made everyone so welcome and gave time for photos to make a lasting memory for the family as well as the person flying. To take the controls was a truly once in a life time oppertunity and the onboard film is top quality and a great reminder of the flight.An amazing oppertunity to fly in a magnificent flying machine which took you back to a bygone age. Thanks to all whole help her keep flying and for sharing the pleasure with so many.

A fabulous experience
It was a fabulous experience and totally lived up to my expectations. Jeremy the pilot gave me a good briefing about what would happen during the flight so I knew what to expect. The flight itself was just a whirlwind of loops, rolls, breaks and awesome flying. I was even allowed to fly the plane for a while so I could add it to my logbook!

Dambusters Flight
Absolutely fantastic flight in a fantastic vintage aircraft from Barton Aerodrome. Flying over to Rochdale area and through the valleys on the Pennines over to the Howden, Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs flying the route the Dambusters took practising for the Mohne dam mission. Had an opportunity to take the controls which is always fun and some aerobatics on the way back.
Fantastic experience and my thanks to Andy the pilot who has had a fascinating career and flying vintage aircraft and to Donny, Wacky Rabbit's ground crew. I'm seriously considering flying again next year if they're back at Barton.

My husband had a flight in the T6…
My husband had a flight in the T6 Harvard back in September 2025 at Conington airfield piloted by Dan. My husband really enjoyed the experience and was impressed by Dans skills in handling this iconic warbird and in awe of the Harvards flying capabilities.
We returned to Conington for the second time last weekend and were happily surprised to see Dan again. Dan is a true aviation enthusiast and chatted to my husband and I for some time. I had no intention of flying in the Harvard as I have never flown in single engine aircraft but after talking with Dan he suggested I sit in the Harvard and get a feel of the aircraft, he spent time with me showing how the harness attaches, how to open and close the canopy and Dan explained all the controls in the passenger cockpit. After practicing the canopy opening and closing and getting a feel of the passenger cockpit with Dans patience and understanding I decided to take the plunge and take a flight in the Harvard.
The flight was truly remarkable Dan spoke to me via headphones . I felt very comfortable throughout, the aircraft roared its engines on take off and rumbled accross the runway, I could feel the hum of the engine and the sturdy yet fragile body of the Harvard. The Harvard is magnificent and I feel privileged to have flown in it. Thank you to Dan for your excellent flying skills and a big thank you to all the ground crew volunteers Mike being one of them.

What makes your story especially special to us is that you originally came along to support your husband and had no intention of flying yourself. It is fantastic to hear that, through Dan's patience, professionalism and enthusiasm, you gained the confidence to experience the Harvard firsthand.
The T-6 Harvard is a truly remarkable aircraft, and your description of the take-off, the sound of the radial engine and the feeling of flying in this historic warbird perfectly captures what makes these aircraft so special. We are delighted that what began as a visit to the airfield turned into an unforgettable flight experience.
Dan will be absolutely thrilled to read your comments. He is passionate about aviation and always takes the time to ensure that every guest feels comfortable, informed and able to enjoy the experience to the fullest. We are very fortunate to have him as part of the team.

SUPPORT THE WABBIT!
I booked two flights for my sons (who had no previous experience of flying in a 'real aeroplane'!). We were made very welcome by both the pilots and groundcrew.
One of the boys opted to upgrade to the 'Battle of Britain' experience, the other (slightly nervous) went for the non-aerobatic experience flight. Suffice to say that both took the controls and came back with an enormous grin on their faces! We had the optional video package (recommended) and were given the chance to get up close with the Wabbit for pictures. So we have some amazing memories to look back on.
I should point out that both my sons have learning difficulties and I was hugely impressed by both pilots and groundcrew in their dealings with them. Lovely people to deal with and an experience my sons will never forget. Highly recommended.
