I opted in to receive a dash cam unit free (+ S&H) from TacticalUSA and forgot about the subscription to their newsletter of $59.95 that occurs automatically 30 days(?) later unless cancelled. Upon seeing the billing on my VISA statement I contacted their customer service team who were very professional and courteous, apologizing for any confusion. There was no issue with them refunding the $59.95 and cancelling my subscription immediately, although I did have to endure the agent trying many tactics and offers to keep me signed up, all of which I turned down. Per this experience, I have nothing negative to relay about TacticalUSA, since the oversight was mine and resolved to my satisfaction.

I got a knife off their ebay site. Free just pay shipping and then a month later a $59.95 charge appears on my card.

Giant scammers!

I too ordered the $9.99 'Free' box of ammo. OK, I ordered a few boxes at individual times. THEN 2 months later the $59.95 fees started showing up on my CC. I never received these online magazines. My CC company was notified and I was not charged. I did call Tactical USA and they did cancel those fees. Suggest NOT falling for this SCAM.

Woke up to several fraud alerts from my CC asking if I had made a purchase in the middle of the night from tacticalUSA for $59.95. The transaction was declined. Apparently my CC was on to the scam.

Total scam ! I have been taken like the others for 59.95 for a magazine I did not order and have not recieved a refund for a product I never got . I have froze them out of my account .

Right after I made a purchase from these people I found out through the BBB that they have several complaints about not sending the items being ordered. So I called my card company and froze my account. The card company reported it as fraud.

Total scam just like others are saying, unauthorized 59.99 charge. What a joke always someone trying to scame people. Do not do any business with them.

Got a offer for a box of ammo. I ordered the box of ammo and was only supposed to pay shipping and handling which was $9.99. Two months later I get a $59.99 charge on my credit card for some kind of membership which includes a magazine. I never received the ammo or the magazine.
I called customer service and they said my stuff was delivered, which it wasn't and I should contact my financial institutions. I contacted both and had accounts closed. Tactical USA only refunded $11.99 of the $59.99 they charged. Be aware this is a SCAM !!!!!

BLATANT FRAUD!! Kept charging me 59.99 and I never received the gear I ordered. They kept charging me 59.99 a month for absolutely NOTHING!! Do not fall for this website.

Yep I realized that something did not seem right when I tried to log in to the web site. I ended up canceling my debit card so they can't charge my bank anymore...it was a 10 dollar lesson I guess.

Deceptive charges from the company following order of product.
I realize now that I should truly be aware of these type of advertisements.
If they have a legit business model, it’s not evident in their advertising.

If I could rate them lower than one star I would. Checking my bank statement today and see where they tried to charge my card $59.95 for some bogus magazine subscription. Luckily my bank has it as a pending charge so in the morning I will call them and report this scam and stop payment. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I fell for the same scam others have reported. I did not see any kind of description of becoming a member of anything at a cost of $59.95. I was shocked when I saw the charge and wrote an email immediately demanding a refund.

They sent me a real small knife saying that I only had to pay shipping. I paid thd shipping and I received the very small knife but now they keep trying to take $60 out of my checking account that I have NOT authorized. They are a scam.

Also got caught up in this scam. Called my bank and also called Tactical to dispute the charge. I should receive a refund to my card within a few days. Watch your bank account folks!!!!!!!!!!

I agree wither others, that this is a scam. They just tried to bill me $59.95, but my bank caught it and declined the purchase. CUDOS FOR CAPITAL ONE!

I was shocked when I saw the charge and wrote an email immediately demanding a refund. I have to admit that Emmanuel was very efficient and prompt in taking care of the problem. I received my refund quickly; however, I believe Tactical was sneaky in how they promoted the "free" item. I fell for the "free" tactical belt, which in no way was of the quality of another brand of tactical belt I already use. In spite of my problem being taken care of promptly, I would be afraid to deal with this company again.

**Update...response was very quick but they did try to tell me I authorized it in the fine print. I think that is BS, if I did miss it, I have to ask why not be upfront about it and not put it in fine print. After my reply to that they have canceled the *subscription* **wink** and refunded all charges.
Along with everybody else that posted here I was scammed the $59.95 for a *free* pocket knife paying for shipping of $6.95. I am usually very aware fine print but I don't recall anything like it. I have emailed their support and demanded a refund. Phone # rolled to voice-mail that said that they haven't set up their voice-mail yet. SKETCHY. I will update their response when and if I get one.

I, too, recently (November 2023) fell victim to this scam. In fact, I just finished canceling my “subscription” from “TacticalUSA” via phone. It is perhaps interesting that the fellow with whom I was speaking in “Customer Service” was more focused on retaining my business (I.e., my money) than he was processing my objection. He initially offered to discount my subscription charge or refund a portion of what I had already been charged to retain me as a customer (from $59.95 to as low as $9.95 per month). He either refused to acknowledge, or could not grasp the principle that I was canceling based in their intentional deceit and not just because of the cost of their “subscription.”However, he was, at least, polite. If you haven’t already, then I urge you to also cancel, at least until they change their methods and policies regarding “subscriptions.”
