We had a great safari experience. The organisation of the various flights and accommodation was seamless which really added to the experience. Would definitely recommend Tanzania Odyssey and would use them again.

Tanzania Odyssey planned our 12 day, multiple location, honeymoon in Africa. And I have to say, it was absolutely perfect!! The staff was attentive and responsive during the planning process. They were extremely knowledgeable and tailored our itinerary to exactly what we were looking for. Their recommendations were spot on. Our trip was completely seamless, every transfer was easy and there was always a guide waiting for us, knowing exactly who we were and where to take us. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves (which is exactly what we did). I wouldn't change a thing about our trip, and owe Tanzania Odyssey all the credit for planning and executing on an incredible honeymoon for us!!

When planning the trip the specialists were so knowledgable and knew what to do and when to do it. I had early mornings but then followed by luxurious lodges and relaxing days inbetween. Looking at their website makes me want to start planning for next year!

I emailed a few operators to get some ideas for my family safari to Tanzania and not only were Tanzania Odyssey the fastest to reply, they were also the best! Ed really knew his stuff and never pushed us towards anything. The lodges were spectacular, we saw so many animals and had a private island to finish. Can't say much better than that!

Tanzania Odyssey has arranged 3 safaris for me -- 2012, 2013 and coming in 2015. The first trip was for 13 family members and we wanted to get away from the crowds, which we did at Alex Walker's Serian in the Serengeti and Beho Beho in the Selous. Making arrangement to please 13 isn't easy but everything was flawless and the trip was fantastic. BTW, I had never heard of TO before and all arrangements were made by phone and email. It was a bit unnerving to wire funds to an unknown entity, but I did have references and all were stellar. In 2013, TO arranged a trip for my wife and I to Rwanda to see the gorillas and to the remote parks in western Tanzania, including Mahale for the chimps. Very complex arrangements but again everything was flawless. Next year will be Botswana, Zambia and a few days in Cape Town. Who else would I use for such a trip?!!! These guys and gals know their stuff and will work with you to design your trip-- no canned safaris. I highly recommend them.

My sister and I are from the Netherlands and we have been to Selous, Ruaha and also to the chimpanzees at Greystoke Mahale, all in Tanzania. Everything was very well organized from the beginning till the end of our trip by Tanzania Odyssey. The locations where we stayed were wonderful and that is why I would like to recommend Tanzania Odyssey as a very good organization to arrange your trip to Tanzania in Africa.

Tanzania Odyssey deal patiently, thoughtfully and courteously with quite a number of problems (from my end) and made arrangements which worked out perfectly. I stayed in tented camps in Selous and Ruaha and can't recommend them highly enough. The game viewing was excellent - I watched a leopard hunting for an hour, and saw a cheetah the same day, as well as a wonderful encounter with elephants checking out the jeep. Dinner in the open by candlelight, with a big fire at each end of the table and elephants wandering past was quite magical. I'd love to go back and do it all over again.

Had a fantastic trip in July to Siwandu and Jongomero, Africa Odyssey were so helpful in giving me facts about the holiday. Turned out to be cheaper than their competitors too! No pressure on me for making a decision to book (and believe me I took ages deciding). Had a fantastic time would definitely use them again.

Tanzania Odyssey arranged an amazing safari to southern Tanzania this summer. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and we all agree this was our best family holiday ever

Whatever the problem, wherever you are, Tanzania Odyssey will sort you out with the minimum of fuss. They are also endlessly patient and give brilliant recommendations. We are critical consumers so the fact that we have been on five holidays with Tanzania Odyssey and are about to go on a sixth is evidence enough of their excellent service.

I used the guys at Africa Odyssey to book a trip for my dad and I to Tanzania. I was provided with an abundance of information and lot of great options for our safari. I asked a ton of questions and they were very prompt with their answers and more than willing to help. The trip itself was amazing and planned perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing other than the fact that we were delayed on our way over due to a medical emergency on our plane. This was obviously not the fault of Africa Odyssey but they were very helpful with providing information for our travel insurance claim. I would definitely recommend them when planning your trip and plan to use them again when I return with my wife.

The organisation was fantastic, friendly and gave us exactly the right level of detail in advance - and during the trip. I had forgotten to take the itinerary with me so Africa Odyssey quickly despatched one en route.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Lamai Camp and Ras Kutani was pretty spectacular and a great match for Lamai. The transfers all worked smoothly and were with representatives who you could instantly trust and like.
