The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant! My 4th time at this restaurant and won’t be my last

Well done !

The food is always very good at Tattu and this was no different. The cocktails are excellent too. The service now is also much better than it once was. Amber was great throughout the night and made sure we were taken care of.

3rd visit to TATTU and no change…..simply fantastic food. Great staff, warm and welcoming. Great service. Nothing else to say really.

Excellent service, very attentive. And communication skills 10/10 when serving.

Went to Tattu Edinburgh on Saturday night ! It did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, so were the cocktails and our server gave us great recommendations for food choice and wine. He never stopped the while night looking after us, ensuring we had enough water etc.. server was called Kieron! He was amazing and even got a photo with us at the end of the night , Will most definitely be back !

No quarrel with the food, it was delicious, though very expensive. I am talking about basic safety of the venue. There was an "artistic" décor including black-painted walls and ceiling and black-tiled floor in the corridor leading to the loos. It was like disappearing into a black hole as you headed in that direction. There was one single step in the corridor, with little fairy lights across the riser of the step. Oh yes, you could see that step well, on the way into the loo... On the way out, slightly blinded by the bright neon lights in there, I confidently set off back down the black corridor, imagining that my next step would be on the level but suddenly the floor was not there under my feet, and I fell headlong and landed on my face on the rock-hard tiles. I was extremely lucky not to break a bone as I have osteoporosis.

Extortionate cancellation fee - had to unfortunately cancel due to illness, but was charged £20 each - when it was a Friday night and would easily have filled the table.
Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

The ambience, decor and presentation was utterly superb, and pretty unrivalled in Manchester.

Tattu has a policy of refusing to allow guests to have their leftovers boxed up to take away. This short sighted policy will cost them considerable loss of revenue and goodwill.

We enjoyed their signature £60 foaming gin Year of the Dragon cocktail however the two Pina Coladas that we subsequently ordered were the worst we had ever experienced. Weak, uninspiring and clogged up with horrid pre-mixed sludge. A complete and utter waste of £30.

Add that to the £50 of unused food we were forced to leave behind and its unlikely that we'll be returning to Tattu in the near future. It's a shame, because, with a little tweaking, it could be one of the finest restaurants in Manchester.

Great decor and image, but that’s where it ends. There is a ‘holding area with cocktail menus on the tables - no one asked us or any of the other clients waiting if we would like to order a pre dinner drink or cocktail. When ordering at the table, the first thing we were told was an extensive list of starters unavailable! I ordered ‘king scallops’ this turned out to what could be a breach of the trade descriptions act! Four minuscule scallops lost on the centre of a scallop shell. Beware if you don’t eat meat, there was sausage meat on top of them which is not mentioned on the menue- I had to return mine. Main course was okay, but nothing special. There are four items on the desert selection, one of which was unavailable. There is a rather impressive cocktail menu, again the one we ordered was unavailable- how can you run out of cocktail ingredients?
We decided to just order coffees cappuccinos which were Luke warm.
The menu says there is a fixed service charge which is unjustified. This Tatu is a glorified and overpriced Chinese restaurant, and the catering manager needs training or be replaced. If you are going to pay for exceptional food, service and expectations this is not the place.

Loved our meal in Manchester! Pricey but well worth it. The food was top notch. Don’t mind paying when the foods this good, the lady serving us was very helpful and helped us match some of the menu. We ordered lots of small plates and some bigger dishes so needed to balance them out.

Went to the London Tottenham Court Road Tattu and I must say Gavins customer service was amazing, he explained the whole menu to us, he was patient, he kept checking in on us and made our night very special. Got us complimentary desserts! It was amazing. 5* I would give him

We had a family dinner, table for three. We were 18mins late and had to wait a while to get our table sorted. But the staff were all nice and Adam was exceptional! Lovely food and nice spot, will definitely visit again.

Rude rude rude
We had such a rude waiter. He needs a lesson in customer service.
The noise level was high so we could t hear his mumbling then he tutted at us. We asked 5 waiters for clean cutlery in the end my colleague stood up and went to ask a waiter.

He wasn’t happy to explain the dish contents as my friend had to have halal food.
He was so so so very rude.

Paid the bill as couldn’t leave soon enough. Appalling service by our waiter and the other staff involved. Was actually looking forward to it but feel like I should have donated my £130 to a homeless
Charity rather than line their pockets for disgusting service

I cannot stand bad manners and would have expected much more.

Omg Amazing place,
My son treated us to a night out for my husband birthday. We had the emperor menu and few extras.
Cocktail were to die for…
Service staff were on point..
Our waitress Antonia made our night special and explain menu.
Had special bday treat at the end..
Wow, wow…every dish was succulent, juicy and memories were made as our son first treat to us as parents.
