I am really grateful to the clinic for pioneering and making this treatment available in the UK. First just to say that the staff are absolutely first class. They are compassionate, instantly putting you at ease and are almost as invested in your recovery as you are.

I have had debilitating gut health and mental health issues for many years that I just haven't been able to resolve through my doctor or the usual health and wellbeing routes and was in quite the downward spiral. I have had many long courses of antibiotics since I was a teenager for my skin which I think may have played a significant part and more recently treatments for SIBO. It's now been 6 months since my initial FMT.

After about a month after I felt I was having odd days unaffected by low mood and by three months feeling good almost daily and am finding myself more social and connected with friends and family. The digestion has improved drastically too on a more gradual basis and I am now eating a full and varied diet able to go to restaurants and order what I like without fear of repercussions. Skin although not too bad at the point of treatment has also benefitted. Sleep is potentially the last sticking point which although still problematic has equally improved a lot relative to the beginning.

It's also helped to do my own self care alongside, really prioritising exercise (once I had the energy to do so), yoga therapy and diet (once I could start eating more foods) to help manage the (very positive) changes within myself as the transplants have taken effect.

I am so glad that I decided to go ahead with this and I am enjoying getting my life back on track. In retrospect too, the slight reservation around the ick factor of the transplant was a complete non-issue in the end and I am even quite happy to talk about it openly with friends and family now 😅

Having FMT has completely changed my life after receiving treatment 3 years ago. I’ve lived with eczema since birth, and for so long I thought I just had to accept the discomfort, flare-ups, and impact it had on my everyday life, I tried everything. Since having FMT, I’ve experienced a transformation I never thought was possible. My skin is amazing, I feel so confident in myself, and I finally I can live without eczema controlling my life. I’m incredibly grateful for the difference it has made. Is good to know I can have a top if needed, like after recently needing anti biotics.

Very honest and up front with communications, no pressure. All questions answered clearly and reassuringly. Very pleasant and understanding practitioners. Extremely clean environment. Great nutritional advice post treatment. At the end of the phone at any point. Does exactly what it says on the tin restoring the gut Microbiome.

Had FMT at Taymount clinic in November 2025 due to chronic digestive issues like SIBO and Inflammation going on for decades and this was basically a last resort. I should have done this years ago as in 5 weeks my extreme exhaustion has gone, my joint pain is so much better its hard to believe, my bloating has gone and so has my long lasting constipation and any little bloating i do get is gone by the next morning.

My issue I believe all stemmed from heavy use of antibiotics for various reasons including sepsis.

I am still having issues with food and tinnitus and sleep but this is a work in progress and the improvement in quality of life is very very high and I am working on my diet currently to resolve the remaining issues.

I would highly advise anyone with such issues to make contact with the clinic, I was going to go years ago and my GP put me off, my GP was wrong this had changed my life so much I'm so grateful. I intend to follow up with further FMT later next year.

These changes were quite quick to happen some things felt almost instant within days and some within a few weeks, maybe more improvements will follow.

Thank you to Annie who was amazing , she was so kind and caring and made me feel comfortable in what is a difficult situation. A lovely lady who is a credit to the Taymount Clinic and would do anything to help you, she lent me books to read and gave me lots of great advice as she is very knowledgeable.

I was a bit anxious about the actual treatment but its fairly simple and straightforward.
