Whey absolutely vile the worst protein powder i have ever tasted in my life and ive tried many brands in my time. Smells and tastes like chemicals feel its borderline not suitable for human consumption honestly! Went in the bin the entire bag!

Disappointed with Customer Service and Delivery Process

I’ve been a loyal customer of Trained by JP Clothing in the past, but this recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I placed an order and paid for delivery, only to find out that the product was never actually delivered to my address. No delivery attempt was made, and no card or notification was left by the courier. The item was apparently returned to sender after only 9 days at the post office—without any proper attempt to notify me.

When I contacted customer service, I received a response that felt dismissive and unacceptable. I shouldn’t be penalised or charged again due to a failure on the delivery company’s part. Especially frustrating is the fact that someone is always home at our address, so I strongly suspect that the item may have been mistakenly delivered to a nearby street, which has happened to us before.

Despite explaining all this, I was told the best they could do was refund me my money minus a £19.70 cost for them being returned the parcel. I simply wanted the items I paid for, to be delivered to the correct address, without additional costs.

I hope Trained by JP Clothing takes accountability and improves their handling of delivery issues in the future. But I certainly won’t be using them ever again. After reading the other reviews on Trustpilot I think there is obviously issues with delivery company they use and how they deal with valid customer complaints. Would give Zero stars if I could, I’m out of pocket by £19.70 through no fault of my own.

And tasted like chemicals and varnish.The worst protein supplement ever purchased. When I spoke to customer service i was told we will do better next time. I threw both products away and had a bad headache after.

I have been a regular customer of tbJP for over a year. Lately I ordered my usual White Chocolate Hazelnut protein powder, and when it arrived it smelled like paint thinner and tasted like what I can only describe as chemicals. I had to throw the yoghurt I usually mix it with away because it genuinely tasted unsafe to eat. I let customer service know as I was sure this was a mistake in manufacturing, only for the case to be dismissed as "personal preference". They informed me that they've changed manufacturer and formula since the last order, without prior warning, and because I've obviously opened the packaging to be able to smell/taste it I've been refused a refund. This company is an absolute disgrace and should be avoided.

I ordered 2 flavours of whey protein from TBJP recently. Cookies and cream, and white chocolate hazelnut. The cookies and cream has a very good flavour, however the white chocolate hazelnut is the weirdest tasting protein powder I have ever tasted. I got into contact with TBJP to tell them it has a very strange taste to it. They weren’t interested in refunding me or offering me any additional products as a replacement, waste of £50.

Do not order from this company. Ordered on the 27th of November 23. It’s now 7th of December and sent 4 emails with no reply, no order NOTHING !

I’ll be filing a claim against the company and doing a chargeback. I’ve spent hundreds of pounds in the past. I won’t be spending a penny more. Learn how to run a business

Very poor service. A large tub of protein powder sat with their courier for 2 weeks before being returned to the warehouse (they did not even attempt to deliver), for which the company only offered to refund the item and not delivery costs, which of course is illegal under the Consumer Rights Act, which ensures customers in the UK receive a full refund including any shipping costs. They refused to process the full refund, so I had to raise a dispute through my bank. I got the money back of course, but 2 months later the company has tried to get me to pay for it again, even though I've pointed out that they cannot avoid their obligations under the law or affect my statutory rights. Never use this company - they don't understand their obligations under the law and will try to rip you off.

so. firstly. i ordered supps from them black friday and quickly realised i forgot a discount code and contacted them and asked them to either cancel my order or put a discount on it. got a response within 10 mins of my order telling me they cant do that after its processed and paid? still havent got my supps 14/12 and they told me its because their courier is on strike but why are you still taking orders then? i asked for refund a million times and they refuse and say i have to wait 20+ days until i can raise claim
