Unbelievably speedy delivery!
I've not used Teamac previously, and am trying it only because I gained a voucher as a prize in a dinghy sailing race. Greatly appreciated excellent communication with and helpful service from F.M, followed by unbelievably speedy delivery. Am now looking forward to trying the antifoul on my friend's Contessa 32.

Quality products
I bought a litre of black Teamac bilge and locker paint plus a half litre of white marine undercoat from this company.
Both products were about all you might have wanted in terms of strength ( oily/ viscous ) , quick drying time and environmental safe (odourless , non toxic to work with - a joy in this respect ) . My project was to with undershed bearers and scaffold floorboards for same shed and not boats .
I have taken a ☆off as I want to highlight for those novice to barge , long boat, yacht maintenance and repair that this paint is intended for internal wooden / metal surfaces and not for external hulls.

Hi Mr Stephen Lee,
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We're really pleased to hear that both the Teamac bilge and locker paint and the marine undercoat performed well for your project and that you found them easy to work with.
We also really appreciate you pointing out that this paint is designed for internal wooden and metal surfaces rather than external hulls, that's a helpful note for others who may be new to marine maintenance.
We’re happy the products worked well for your shed project!
Kind regards,
Frances

Poor returns procedure

Resposta da Teamac Marine & Agricultural Paints
Hi Daisley,
We’re sorry to hear you found the returns process difficult. As paint is classed as a restricted item, only certain couriers are able to handle returns, which can limit options. We understand this isn’t always convenient, and we’re reviewing how we can make the process smoother in future. Thank you for your feedback
Kind regards,
Frances

Been using Teamac paints for a long…
Been using Teamac paints for a long time now, recently used Zinc Phosphate Primer and unlike Doug the Nougat below I could read that it clearly says primer on the tin therefore, I didn't leave it without applying a topcoat and the topcoat hasn't shifted at all.

Teamac grey zinc phosphate for…
Used the Teamac grey zinc phosphate for my gutters. Unfortunately due to the gutter design, several lengths of the cast iron remain under water until the rainwater evaporates. There was no information on the tin to say that the product was unsuitable under these conditions. As a result, several months after application, the paint started to crack and peel off. I then spent several hours scraping it all off, applying Hammerite Kurust and finally coating with the original Finnegans Hammerite black paint.....which is great. Had I been aware of this prior to painting with Teamac, I could have save the expense and time in the first place. Perhaps this should have been printed on the instructions rather than my finding the information after the event on Google.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about your experience with the Teamac Grey Zinc Phosphate Primer.
We’d like to clarify that this product is a primer, specifically designed to provide adhesion and corrosion resistance before being overcoated with a suitable topcoat. It is not intended as a standalone finish, especially in areas that are frequently submerged or exposed to prolonged moisture—such as gutter sections that hold standing water.
We understand that this wasn’t clear in your case, and we do appreciate how frustrating that must have been. While some key information is on the tin, we strongly encourage users to get in touch with our Technical Services team, which includes qualified paint inspectors, for application guidance, especially in less common or challenging conditions. They're always happy to advise on product suitability and systems for specific environments.
Your feedback about the clarity of instructions is noted and will be passed on to our product team for review. We're always looking for ways to improve our communication and support.
If you have any future projects or would like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly, we’re here to help ensure you get the best results from Teamac products.
Kind regards,
Frances
