Horrible Experience
If you are okay with extremely poor communication and Tempus not actually knowing where your shipment is, you should use Tempus. We found out our car was picked up from the dealer 18 hours before Tempus did. Tempus told us it would be delivered on a Thursday afternoon. Thursday evening we reached out and Tempus had no idea where our car was. The system that is supposed to track the shipment doesn’t really work so we had no idea if our shipment was going to arrive. For example our car was coming from Minnesota to Pa and at one point it said it was in GA. It was planned to be en route for 36 hours but ended up being a 3 day experience. We understand delays happen but not without proactive communication. Horrible experience.

Thank you, Don. We sincerely apologize for these communication hiccups. Drivers tend to be unresponsive and unpunctual occasionally. Unfortunately, we do not have any GPS/Tracking systems and/or devices. Instead, we rely on drivers and/or their dispatchers to receive ETAs/updates and relay them to the customer.
Furthermore, drivers sometimes tend to contact the customer directly to inform them of ETAs/Updates before doing so with us, which, generally speaking, is also wrong (on their end). No matter how much we discuss and emphasize the matters above, such mishaps occur from time to time, which puts us, and more importantly, the customer, in a tough spot.
We sincerely regret any frustration this may have caused, and we fully appreciate the impact these delays and miscommunications can have on your plans.
We stay committed to improving our processes to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Again, we apologize for failing to provide the level of service we intend to. We genuinely hope to hear from you again and certainly serve you much better, particularly with better communication.

This company tells you what you want to hear to generate the business and then makes excuses as to why it can't be done that way. They delayed my pick-up time and were unable to deliver as promised. It was a complete failure.

Hi Edward, it is sad to see you write that your shipment is being delayed whiles you stated in your verification form that the shipment you booked just yesterday will be ready starting April 6th. You booked for a normal pickup timeframe but needed a guaranteed pickup on a specific date which we have made it clear prior to booking that pickup timeframe is 1-5 business days. We believe this review is unfair and does not reflect to the status quo. However, we are open to working with you in the future with understanding terms. Regards, Anthony

They came out cheaper than the…
They came out cheaper than the competing brokers on shiply. My car got to its destination undamaged and with a minimum of fuss.
My only complaint is that the driver they hired barely spoke English which made communication very hard.

While some of the drivers we partner up with sometimes have a bit of a language barrier, we've always been able to communicate with them through their dispatchers. So as long as you notify us about a concern or something specific you need, we'll always handle it on our end, and you won't have to stress about the details. Mine were 2 classic cars. They worked with me to expedite the pickup. Delivered without any issues.
Their customer service folks are outstanding and followed up every single step of the way.
And on top of everything, the icing is their price. Very competitive.
