I purchased and tried two Bauerfeind…
I purchased and tried two Bauerfeind ankle braces (AirLoc and CaligaLoc) from TENS Pros.
Before returning the first brace, I specifically asked about return deductions and was told that nothing would be deducted from my refund. However, when the refund was processed, $9 was deducted.
For the second brace, I was told that 20% would be deducted for the return. The brace cost $219.99, but my refund was $52.98 less than the purchase price, which exceeded the stated 20% deduction.
In both cases:
• I paid for return shipping myself
• TENS Pros also deducted their original shipping and handling costs from my refunds
• These additional deductions were not clearly disclosed upfront
• The full return rules are only visible in fine print after purchase, when you are already trying to return the item
My concern is not the quality of the Bauerfeind braces, but the lack of transparency around return policies. The actual deductions did not match what I was told, and the total costs were significantly higher than expected.
Customers should be clearly informed before purchase that:
• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
• Original shipping and handling may also be deducted
• Quoted return deductions may not reflect the final refund amount
I am sharing this so others can make a fully informed decision before ordering.
