This was my first house move in nearly 40 years and the first time I have used a removal company so was a little bit nervous and unsure of the process.

Right from my first contact with the company, I felt I was in competent and professional hands. Quotation visit was arranged promptly and Josh filled me with confidence that everything could be handled. I was moving out of a three-storey property with lounge on first floor; sofa had had to be brought in by being lifted up and over a balcony, so would obviously have to leave the same way, but this was not seen as an issue.
I received my quote very promptly and was genuinely surprised - they had come in at almost half the price of the first quote I received. Ralph called me the following day to check I'd got the quote ok and to answer any questions I may have had. He encouraged me to obtain further quotes and to check their reviews here, which he is (justifiably) proud of. He made me feel that no question was too silly to ask and could not have been more helpful. Everyone I spoke to during the booking process, ordering packing materials to do half the house myself and organising dates for both packing and the actual move, were friendly, professional and helpful.
Two days before the actual move, Adam and Stats came to pack everything I hadn't and were very quick and efficient at packing fragile items and boxing up the garage contents. Once packed, they dismantled beds that would not be being used, started to bring down the lounge furniture (they managed the sofa between them!) and fully loaded a large van which was then sealed and signed for.
The removal day itself went really smoothly and the lorry was loaded with all remaining furniture and boxes by late morning. Legal completion took place before noon so they left as soon as they were packed to wait for me at the new property, where they were parked outside waiting when I arrived after collecting the keys.
Unloading was as efficient as loading had been. Beds re-assembled, furniture and boxes put where instructed.
In both the old property and the new, flooring was protected throughout with cardboard/sheeting, banisters also which meant that both houses stayed clean with no scratches/marks up the stairs. The sales consultant from the development dropped in whilst they were unloading, she has obviously witnessed many moves, and even she was impressed with the care the guys were taking.
A big thank you from me to the whole team; you made the day (and the whole process) stress-free and I will 100% recommend you to anyone I know that's moving.

TFM removals were excellent value for money and all of the removal guys we had were very helpful, friendly and very efficient. I didn't realise so much stuff could fit into a Luton Van! Would 100% recommend.

TFM removals were excellent, professional, accommodating and very respectful of all belongings. It was a long distance move and they helped me through a stressful experience which turned out to be a smooth transition through their hard work

Professional from packing up our whole house over two days to delivering to the new house over two days. Everything was secure and breakables had particular attention given to them. Carpets and stairs were all protected and we were totally confident in all the team. They even handed us some money that we had tucked into a drawer and forgotten about. Our thanks to Adam, Josh, Jamies, Sophia, Stats and Nick. (Hope I got their names right.) I would not hesitate in recommending them. 1st class.

We used TFM for the third time to move my 87 year old mother from Brentwood to Burnham on Crouch. The communication from Ralph & Sarah was first class.
The removal staffed turned up on time and did all the packing & dismantling of beds etc. The staff put my mum at ease and did an excellent job. The move went seamless and I can highly recommend TFM. 👌

I used TFM to ship my belongings to The Philippines, which required specialist knowledge and a lot of support. Ralph and Sarah did not disappoint in this respect and kept excellent communication throughout the process. Adam, Stats and Jaime, the "Moving Guys" also did a superb job, packing all my stuff into a 20' container in a single day. All items safely received in The Philippines last month. This is the 3rd time we have asked TFM to manage our home removal. The first was from overseas back to England, and the last two were within the country. They are a fantastic company to work with, communications are professional throughout, and the expert packing and removal service is outstanding! The team is punctual, polite, hard working and efficient onsite. I cannot recommend them enough. You are in safe hands with TFM!

The two gentlemen arrived last week, they were prompt reliable profesional, everything was covered it seemed seemless and all my things were put up in our new place.
Boxes were delivered promptly before the move and tape, and wardrobe boxes were used on the day.

Ralph was a superstar on the lead up to moving day, keeping in touch & doing his best to make sure he could help us around moving day as our completion date changed. The removals team were fab, really friendly & punctual on the day & did everything quickly & cleaning. They packaged fragile things very carefully and with our items that went into storage it was reassuring to see them locked securely with a tag for us to see it’d been kept sealed whilst away. Overall, amazing service & would definitely recommend.

Very friendly service from the first enquiry to the final box being unloaded. Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. We had problems with the completion of our house sale and they bent over backwards to fit round our needs - nothing was too much trouble.

Our belongings were in storage for a month and I had no worries that they were safe and secure - the team kept us updated and checked in with us regularly.

On both collection and delivery, the teams worked like trojans ensuring that everything was packed securely and wasn't damaged in transit and then making sure everything was safely delivered to required rooms.

I honestly have not dealt with such a professional company who really made us feel comfortable in a very stressful time. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

What a professional team. I had initally signed up with another removals company in Chelmsford. However their communication was shocking. Speaking to TFM was like a breath of fresh air. Communicated with me lots, answered all questions, did what they said they were going to do. Then on the removals days ( we had two separate days) the guys turned up on time, ensured carpets were covered, wouldnt let me help :-), were diligent, friendly, polite and worked very hard. I had full confidence that everything would be looked after and packed correctly. Couldnt recommend TFM enough and its not often you get to say that these days. Thank you

Everything was done so professionally, we didn’t have to do anything apart from the packing, and the guys went above and beyond to care for our furniture and goods. Given the weather wasn’t good on the day, and an awkward entrance to the property, couldn’t praise them enough!
